I visited Vic Falls recently and loved it. It was a clear day with the sun shining, yet I was still soaked by the time I left from the power of the water rising into the air as soon as it crashed to the bottom of the falls. Great place!

@victoriafallsguide Actually Niagra has the largest flow per year(since it has little seasonal variation) but Victoria falls is both higher and wider. What is really has going for it for me though is like Igassu falld its kept its natural setting rather than being spoiled by reckless devolpment.

Actually, The Boyoma falls are often pointed out as the biggest waterfalls on Earth by volume, since the Guaira Falls (Sete Quedas) of the Parana River have been destroyed during the construction of the Itaipu dam, leading to massive flooding.
Victoria Falls is amazing! The sorrounding environment makes it better than Niagra. Its also better on the Zambian side as the facilities are much better, nicer hotels etc
We love and like Zimbabwe side that why we travel to Zimbabwe that's y you find more foreigners in Zimbabwe falls not Zambia

When I went here on holiday I visited the falls and when the cold water fell on me and I screamed and people came running thinking I fell in the falls it was the most humiliating moment of my life

Angel Falls is the HIGHEST. When we say LARGEST, we talk of the sheet of water - length by width of the water.
Largest? I'm not so sure, but Iguaçu is the most beatiful and it's a huge set of waterfalls.
I've checked and Iguazú are larger tho??
@@mirhasanoddname Iguazu is made up of 275 separate waterfalls. Each one is smaller by itself than vic falls. Vic falls is the largest individual fall. Angel falls is the highest single drop fall. But tugela is the highest in terms of overall height (it drops severa times).

@victoriafallsguide but on wikipedia it says that sometimes Iguazu waterfall in Brazil has a higher flow rate than Victoria

So what part of me is not African? There is no way I even look like the countries of my ancestors, the people there, or speak like them, or live like them. Der Salto Angel in Venezuea ist mit Abstand der höchste Wasserfall der Erde. Er ist 978 m hoch. Der breiteste ist der Iguazu au der Grenze zwischen Brasilien und Argentinien. Er ersrtreckt sich über 3 km, allerdings mit einzelnen Unterbrechungen, ist also kaskadenartig. Die breiteste Fallkante hat tatsächlich der Victoria fall. Der Niagara (Kanada/USA) hat im Durchschnitt den größten Wasserdurchlauf.

Approximately 85% are from Argentina and 15% from Brazil, this distribution so unequal explained in the line of trough or maximum depth of the Iguazu River makes a sharp turn (to Brazil) when passing by the impressive "Garganta del Diablo" (The largerst, powerful and impressive of the falls) and which leaves your left about 220 falls in Argentina.

die Durchflussraten sind aber bei allen 3 sehr variabel: Victoria und Iguazu führen in der Trockenzeit weniger und in der Regenzeit mehr Wasser. Der Niagara führt tagsüber und in der Hauptsaison am meisten, der Durchfluss wird allerdinges nachts auf etwa 10% verringert und zu 90% durch ein Kraftwerk geleitet.

@1997diamondz Instead of quoting that A is better than B or undermining other one's you all should understand that all of these falls are fantastic natural beauties and each one has its particular details. The differences are what makes our planet awesome. I am Brazilian and recently visited Iguacu Falls but I would love to have the opportunity to visit Niagra, Victoria or Angel Falls too. In addition one could take the opportunity to know another country.

Victoria Falls is 108 metres (360 ft) high and 1708 metres (5600 ft) wide. Niagara Falls is 53 metres (173ft) high and 790 metres (2600 ft) wide. Vic Falls is twice as high and more than twice as wide. I think the Zimbabwe side has the best facilities and hotels cos I've been to both Zambian and Zimbabwean side.
