@@SailHub Hello, we just bought an old little Classic Ship from Sweden. A Vindö32 with GFK Hull and wooden superstructure and Longkeel. I love the behavior in wave of the old long keel ships. Now we will explore the Baltic See for the next years. There is still a lot to see for the Rest of my Live 😉.

I’m a big fan of my Spinlock lifejackets and have them setup almost identically to yours (MOB1 and bladder lights) - one addition I recommend is an MOB Lifesaver which gets attached to the red lifting strop and provides better retrieval from deck level. The newer jackets have a single thicker crotch strap too!

I bought the 5D about 6 or so years ago for offshore sailing from France to Las Palmas in the Canaries. Had a PLB and when I got back to the US, I bought a MOB AIS transponder. I also was able to squeeze in a powerful strobe light. That little light wand is pathetic.

Hey Steve, there’s a lot goes into life jackets, surprisingly it’s not all about marine qualifications there but, in my opinion it certainly helps and you should really have some one who’s got the qualls on board!
