Club Racing @ PBR 13.5 Stadium Truck Amain

We started out in P2 for the main and came home with the win! Fortunately for me, Austin had a bad first lap (clipped the pipe after the hip jump and sent him out of bounds, and then I think he got collected by other cars also after he was marshalled making his first lap @ 25 seconds!) which allowed me to get into the lead, and my consistency just improved from the qualifiers at 97.8%. But oh man, Austin came back hard and only lost by about 4 seconds! (I got caught on the line by 0.8 seconds, otherwise, it would have been a 22-lap Amain). And he also managed to get a higher consistency at 98.2% even with that super long 1st lap, wow!! I kind of managed to keep a decent pace after I got the lead and just played it safe and so no hotlaps for this race, just went for the consistency. First time beating Austin too after some heartbreakers in the past year. lol He will definitely come back harder for next week I think.
Also, something to note, Michael just kept getting faster with his hotlaps throughout the day and he actually posted a 15.8 after the race in practice. Super good for his 1st time driving his new T6.4!! He will also be another to watch out for in the future truck races!!
