  • Ingredients:
    Okra (Ladyfinger): 250g, sliced
    Onions: 1 medium, thinly sliced
    Oil: 2-3 tbsp
    Salt: To taste
    Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
    Chili powder: 1/2 tsp (adjust to taste)
    Garam masala: 1/2 tsp

    Instructions:
    1. Prepare Okra
    Wash the okra thoroughly, pat dry, and slice into thin pieces. Ensure it's completely dry to avoid stickiness.
    2. Sauté Onions and Okra
    Heat oil in a pan. Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn soft and slightly golden.
    Add the sliced okra, sprinkle a little salt, and sauté on medium heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the stickiness reduces.
    3. Add Spices
    Once the okra is cooked and slightly crispy, add turmeric powder, chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well to coat the okra evenly with the spices.
    4. Cook and Serve
    Cook for another 2-3 minutes on low heat, adjust salt if needed, and turn off the heat.
    Serve hot as a side dish with rice or roti.
