Great solution. I have found myself doing the sniff test way too many times.
Me for my mixing, I photocopy in color the images I find on the internet, then I laminate it and I stick it on the spray! On this subject I like meguiar's which offers any spray for each detailer and mirror glaze product!
Your solution is great too! 👍 👍 👍
Awesome timing. I have been setting up my garage over the last week, ordering gallons of product and this label idea is terrific as well as I ordered the Meguire bottles. Kudo's and thanks.
Thanks! And you’re welcome
Lemon Joy Glass Cleaner!!!!!!! I am the one who showed you that!!!! It needs a better name like "Sexual Energy Glass Cleaner"
🤣🤣🤣
Phil, really good video, it's these little things that are helpful, not wasting time guessing what the product is, or worse when you have 3 bottles of the same product at different dilution ratios. Additionally just taking a guess, is there wide enough packing tape that you could put over the lable for additional protection and adhesion of the lable?
Thanks! I think i will probably use some packing tape to cover over the labels so they don't come off or get wrecked. But so far the labels are not peeling and they seem to be really good!
I would try wrapping the center section of the bottle with clear packing tape. I do that after writing the product name on bottle which lasts a good while and keeps the sharpie from smearing or wearing off.
Great idea!
@@MirandaDetailing Love the sticker idea.. I am going to try that out..Thx!
Man, I really like this practical idea. Great original content. Can't wait to check out the vinyl graphics video.
Thanks!! Let me know what you think! Buildasign.com is awesome
Phil, great solution. I hard a few bottles that the name wore off and I had no clue what it was. This solution will help immensely.
Have a great New Year to you and your wife.
Thanks sir! Have a safe week!
Very neat :) A cheper version should be to use some marker and paper, then put it on the bottle with a transparent tape. Or print some label and use the transparent tape. But the one you shown is definitely looking more professional.
When you're dog-tired after spending all day cleaning your car it's really important to have clearly maked bottles. So fed-up of calling out to the wife to bring me out the product I need and she calls back "The sharpie has faded, can't read your writing".
The only thing I’d suggest is after roughing up the bottle, they need to have that plastic dust whipped off. I suggest a microfiber towel with just a tiny bit of alcohol on it. That will make the stickers stick a whole lot better. If it’s too rough, it will not stick good. I know this stuff because I worked for a sign company for 2 years sticking stickers and graphics on many different substrates 👍🏼
Thanks for the tips! I did give it an ipa wipe down also. However after about 2 weeks of using the bottles the stickers are holding on great. I think the bottles where a little to cold and the stickers didn’t like it cold. After they warmed up the stick better. 😎👍🏼
Hey Phil. Love the labels.
Thanks man!
@@MirandaDetailing your totally welcome. I'm debating how to go about labels on my bottles. I have the blue Pressol label's. It's gonna be hard to decide what to do because the look so good just without labels. Also trying to figure out how to organize them in a display also.
Cool vid, reuse bottles is the first thing i got...i,m guilty.2nd thought was Pan should have done this one...you beat him to it.😅😅😅
😁👍🏼👍🏼thanks!
...for those of you who think this vid is " duh" ...i just sprayed a 4/1 ratio PURPLE POWER DEGREASER on a light fabric stain thinking it was a Dawn / Di mix...labeling not a joke.fortunately i think i salvaged the situation, small spot clean, quick hit it it with a micro sponge and di then detergent..close call.i will be more dilligent labeling from now on.🤔
😁. I’ve done that with spraying vinegar on stuff when I thought it was APC. 🤦🏻♂️
@@MirandaDetailing labeling...NOT a dumb video.5 gazzilion bottles every where...☠
Great idea thanks phil
Your getting crafty.😀
😎👍🏼
what website do you recommend to buy plain
bottles and sprayers from ?
You can get good bottle and triggers here
carguysupplies.com/?rfsn=2788574.246c70
On the Buildasign website I see a bumper sticker option. Is that the one you used? I don’t see the 4 by 6 option tho...
Hi it wasn’t the bumper sticker option you can make your own sticker and then change the size of it as you are designing it.
Your labels look nice but for the price I'm going to have to stick with my Dymo Letratag. I use white tape with bold black lettering. Average label costs cents and if it gets worn out I can just make another one in under a minute. No computer needed. But as far as repurposing empty bottles definitely a good idea 👍✌️🇺🇸
Thanks.
Another great video Phil. Are you able to post the link to the site you purchased your stickers from please. I’m reusing a large number of bottles and while you say they are pricey, I say what price organisation!!
Thanks! Here’s the website. www.buildasign.com
I forgot to post it in the description 🤦🏻♂️
Thanks Phil😉
DYMO Label printer is the best.
What's the DIY glass cleaner?
It’s just half and ounce of ADG Wipeout and 32oz bottle with DistIlled water. Works great
Can you give me a link to the sprayers you use because I’ve tried some on las totallly awesome and they tend to leak on the thread. Thanks
Hi. I use these triggers and last a long time. bit.ly/2tWn4II
I’ve had good luck at usplastic
You should post an archive of all the labels you made, so we can get them.
I could...or I can also customize them according to what you want. I did that for another detailer. I can even put your logo on them.

What's the Tide cold water clean??
I use Tide Cold Water Clean to clean difficult upholstery sometimes. It’s helps with odors also.
@@MirandaDetailing dont spray PP watered down on auto fabric...it will be assholes and elbows to fix the mess.ugghh
is it 4x6 or 6x4 ?
4Lenth X 6Width
How do you know label size tho
I just measured and found that 5x7 or 4x6 sticker label works great for 32oz and 16oz bottles.
@@MirandaDetailing thanks and it’s width first normally right.?
@@MirandaDetailing like width then height ?
Its 5 inches high by 7 Inches wide. just like it shows in the video. Cut a 5x7 inch of paper and use it like a template to see how it would look on the bottle.
Relabel so you don’t MISS STUFF🤨
I _do_ enjoy content like this and I'm already a subscriber.👍 HOWEVER...I think this is an overkill and overpriced solution that obviously doesn't work well (your labels aren't even adhering as you make the video and I'm not at all convinced they ever will). And how colorfast are they, i.e. chemically resistant? But your bottles do look pretty.😁 Proper bottle management is something that has frustrated me as well, and the best solution I've come up with is a cheap Dymo label maker using label tape with "permanent" adhesive, then I wrap the entire bottle once with a single strip of clear Gorilla Tape to keep the label in place (forever) and protected. It's functional, easy, relatively inexpensive, and will never come off or wear out. Just my two cents.
Thanks.
Label mark who cares...i screwed up today...bad labeling.point is mark it ...i,m guilty of changing products in bottles with minimal relabeling...bad idea.
i got 3 AP and/or carpet cleaner bottles >=[
Put packing tape over those labels!!
Good idea. But for now they are holding up really well. No peeling yet with 2 weeks of work.
Hmmmmn, didn’t stick very well, be off in no time, maybe a wipe with ipa first
Well they are sticking on really well so far. I have been using them for a week now and they are not peeling. I did wipe the bottles with ipa first. Like I mentioned the bottles were still a little cold and that effected the stickers from sticking. But now they are sticking really well.
Miranda Detailing thanks for clearing that up, a really good idea by the way 👌👍
