Had to check this game as a Warriors fan out and I thought it was Feldt that missed that kick as it was, now here we are 4 years later and he gets the try that puts the game into extra time before Thurston gets the winning field goal for Cowboys first ever Grand Final win
feldt is the real hero, broncos made a break to half way on tackle 3 and then feldt stripped it 1 on 1 and runs to the broncos 40 and if feldt didn't strip it broncos probably get a kick in to touch 5 metres out from the Cowboys line
yeah unfortunately for me and the wife we paid the second highest price but got seats in a damn corner and could barely see much of the match, apart from the atmosphere we may as well watched it on tv
+eccawarrior : You mean, you were there in 2011 ? The Warriors played in two grand finals at the same day and at least the youngsters won their game :)
3 to be exact, The Auckland Vulcans were the Warriors 2nd grade squad who only lost at the very last second, but yeah you're right it was great being there but I wasn't holding to much hope that game as to this day I have no idea why the hell in a grand final with all the momentum they had go for two points, seriously why in a GF or pretty much any case go to lead a game by a mere 2 points, applying pressure as early as possible is necessary
I hope with Neil "let's keep playing Dallas Johnson & co'' Henry gone, the Cowboys finally tap into their "golden generation'' of young talent. Kyle Feldt, Wayne Ulugia and Jason Taumalolo will be NRL stars soon, and Michael Morgan has proven himself. Zac Santo could be a future super star as well. There were a lot of unhappy "generation 2011'' former NYC Cowboys (Chris Grevsmuhl - just signed by South Sydney - a case in point) at the club, but hope Paul Green gives them a proper shot.
@Snakeman02 then you didnt win fair and square? kicking is a part of your game you didnt have on the warriors, so the warriors were able to do what you wernt, meaning they won fair and square.
@porangahauien they didnt screw you, cowboys were the better team that day and we just missed a couple of goal kicks and one would have won us the game.
@Snakeman02 Warriors won nevertheless. It's how good you play on the day, that counts. The better team will win. We won.. It was a great game though, credit to the Cowboys for a hard match.
@aDeAn2020 technically they lost but they didnt lose physically. cowboys were better. great grand final if only he got them kicks or we had a better kicker
@@tikatakatatata34567 Come on man there's no need to talk like that. The first letter of the first word of a sentence needs to be a capital. "Well". I hope I never see you talk like that again.
shit happens assholes make it. i dont think they were good enough on the day but they were a good team thats why they were first. they played hard and that at the start but then slowed down and got tired. yeh it may seem im being biased but so are u and really and technically cowboys should have because i belive they scored more tries but missed kicks and they really put in a good defensive effort against big ass kiwis again and again. lets just say they were lucky to win. good game though
These were the last 2 Great Under 20 teams so much Talent
Junior Warriors teams were dominant man

+eccawarrior : Wow, this is an unlikely story, I haven't noticed it till I read your comment. Thanks for that.

Johnson played the big game not this one
Johnson was in the topside
lot of nrl stars in this final..R.I.P.ALEX ELISALA
I prefer these warriors better than the seniors

@Snakeman02 are u upset that they lost?

The Cowboys were almost gone trailing 30-16 with ten to go.
What a great game this was,
@Snakeman02 Are you kidding me? Watch the highlights or something.
Like he said "if you get us down there. I'll get it done!"
On the field it has manly s badge?
Lucas Ronaldo because they were in the grand final, as well as the warriors

What the heck is up with the Junior Warriors player on 14:38. It looked like he was sad together with the Cowboys. LOL

So good they can cough up a lead then come back and win the game that's how god they're .. what u talkin about man warriors won back to back u ditto
i knew soon as it was golden point NZ will win off a easy field goal
@aDeAn2020 technically they lost but they didnt lose physically. cowboys were better. great grand final if only he got them kicks or we had a better kicker
so good they win by 1 point yeh
The last kick for goal in normal time was Such a fail ! Should have kicked it easy
Kyle Failed
WARRIORS dominated the under 20's during it's time.... whether they won the final or lost the final
I heard they won back to back premierships in the under 20s in 2010 and 2011 became runners up in 2013 but then won the comp a year later
suck to be the guy hu missed that kick !
Tavilitonga Galiki well he has a nrl ring now soo ? Sorry nigga

NZ Choked and gave up. if they were that good they wouldnt have let the cowboys come back. cowboys too skillful. a field goal wins a game bullshit
