I was at this show. Most of us had never heard this tune at the time of filming. But still, something tingled. No true comparison, but worth mentioning: The first time Zep played "stairway" the whole audience was quiet. J. Page thought they were bored. It was just something new and different.
I'm from Chico, CA, and Floater has been coming here at least twice a year since way back in '94. They are, without a doubt, the best modern rock band around! Long Live Floater!
If record companies focused more on actual music like this than sell-able commercial products like N'Sync; This world would have a music revolution that this world has never seen since the 60's. Floater is one of the best bands ever since the liking's of Rush. FLOATER!!!!!!!!!
I've been listening to this song since it came out. I'm 17 so I've been. Listening to it pretty my whole life haha. Been my favorite song up until I heard endless 2 for the first time
@wowzaacow I couldn't agree with you more, my friend. Been a fan since '95 and have seen Floater live over 60 times. As for the part you mentioned in An Apology.. That part is So Bad Ass. Every time I play it for someone I say 'See? That is some real rock and roll right there!'
Yeah I definitely went to far saying that Stone by Stone sucks. I do catch myself enjoying it from time to time. But on the Dvd that comes with Stone by Stone you get to see the producer and the other bigshot hollywood acts he's produced. Like Rod Stewart, Dixie Chicks, and even Tenacious D. I don't think he had a thorough enough understanding of the awesomeness that is Floater.
WOW THANKS!!! Floater is awesome, ive seen them live many times!! PORTLAND bands FTW!
You've gotta love Floater. Truly are gods among mortals.
