- My new goal is to find every single pearl for FP to read.
I doubt i'll ever do that though, lol.
I like how FP neatly organizes all of his pearls.
I also like how we get to see him in a different perspective, because before downpour he was just this grumpy iterator that would kill you if you kept bothering him.

fun fact the reason five pebbles is nicer towards you is because you are like the second slugcat to bump into its structure, and the first one to not come with a message that is just iterators "lecturing" him
nnno? not at all. it's because you help him by killing all of the scavengers damaging the roof of his structure. did you actually even play the game?? at most, he peacefully kicks you out but he has no sympathy for any of the other slugcats besides hunter and saint.
@@capybarafilmstudios1620 yeah but the fact ur the first one to come there probably plays a little part, the fact you have a citizen id drone probably also plays a huge part as he probably has code to not be able to attack you
It’s more or less a make-your-own-theory-about-this-I-guess thing. But apparently the most likely one is that the citizen drone has a code that keeps the iterator from killing anyone who has it. My personal theory, although weird, is that five pebbles was in his cat boy phase and was simping for artificer
@@Whydoiexisthere- what the hell kind of theory is that..? but yeah. he likely doesn't kill her because of her ID drone, but also doesn't dislike her because she's useful to him and is the second slugcat to reach his chamber (although he hated spearmaster because spearmaster was working with SRS)

Pebbles respects their intelligence and willingness to take a life.
I like how our grumpy boy is still grumpy but still it seems that he also can't resist some nostalgia from previous civilization, or it's just because he saw the keyword that clicked in and simply repeated of what he used to explain to his creators and visitors before.
Its so cool to see 5p perspective on these things. Makes me kind of sad how limited our interactions are with him, as other Slugcats.
I wonder why is pebbles so kind towards artificer, unlike every other slugcat
i mean, they do share the same enemy, yet i am too, curious.
@@erickmaik9425 Yeah, my guess is that's why, he said he has been watching you kill a load of scavs, so he probably figured that if he's nicer to Artificer he can convince them to deal with the scavs tearing him apart.

Highly interesting material, thank you for your upload. It's pleasant to read cleverly written monologues portraying mixed attitude Five Pebbles has towards Artifficier. I hardly ever play video games but found Rain World plot and lore somehow resonating with my likes and experiences. (To admire industrial architecture I explored many surreal environments from tops of chimneys and rectification columns at abandoned refineries to the depths of underground levels of XIXth century factories and plants.) There is consistency between every detail shown in each region. I even decoded some inscriptions Ancients left on their infrastructure - they always possess an adequate meaning. Graphic design is my main passion - having experience with graphic software helped me to fully realize the amount of work that went into every screen the game presents to us. I also find Downpour DLC absolutely worthy of its price and envy people engaged in its creation. Yet another time, thanks.

Having a much more clear minded iterator read pearls can help us so much with lore aspects. Think about the times when a pearl was too tiring to read without a lot of memory, memory which FP has.
Five Pebbles is slowly losing his memories due to the rot spreading through his memory array so I wouldn't say he's a reliable source either, but then again the rot hasn't developed that much in Arti's campaign so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey, wait a minute. Does Artificer have access to any pearl from the standard run? Because if so then pebbles probably would have alternative dialogue to them...but I guess it be rather tiring with all the entries there are.

Poor Daszombies, made a nearly hour long video reading Moon's pearls reading and now there's the Five "Explains ascension to every cat that passes by his can" Pebbles POV.
The "collection" tab in the menu shows every pearl you've had moon read to you. In all of them Moon's transcript actually appears as the 2nd page, so the 1st one has to be Pebbles' transcription. Artificer runs are so long
