Another betrayal for Jinx is that her sister shows up for her as an enforcer, with Caitlyn. Enforcers were the ones who killed their parents as children, for Jinx to see that really made her upset.
She betrayed Jinx in more ways that one, or at least that's how Jinx sees it.
The guy doing experiment is Singed, he was the one Viktor met when he was young and the person giving him Shimmer
Oh! So important: this episode shows us something about Silco. In the first scene we meet him, he injects himself effortlessly. It seems that he let Jinx think* he couldn't do it so that she felt needed (something she's always chased).
Very interesting!
I took that to mean he trusted Jinx enough to let her do it, for years now, to the point he grew unused to doing it himself. In s1e7, when jinx barges in on him and threatens him about Vi, you can see he is having trouble trying to inject himself.
12:54 The weapon blueprints, Viktor said he doesnt want Hextech to be weapon, that is one of the reasons he left.
I feel like I didnt even watch the show sometimes bc I didnt even notice this
@girlsaviuh yeah no you will get that a lot with this show.
Like in Ep7, Vander has Vi tattoo on him. You know the one Vi has on her face. I watched it 3 times and someone had to point out for me
@@girlsaviuh this is where multiple rewatch helps a lot, especially if you're looking out for all the details you can notice :D
@@girlsaviuh yeah the blue prints were being weighted down by Sky's journal. Viktor shifts the journal and sees that there are NEW Hextech weapon blueprints, proving that Jayce has been designing new weapons while Viktor recuperated.
So sad, Viktor had his heart broken 💔
"Letting him go...could be healing"
1 sec after that line: * Jinx screams * 😂
I love how this season really shows a part of Jinx we never really saw in season 1, you'll see it with Jinx and that little girl
Exactly! I love Isha and how she’s like powder when she was little❤️
Never not gonna be hyped for the wait of each episode😅
S1 episode 2: Vi helps Powder hide under the ceiling when Enforcers arrive
S2 episode 2: Jinx hides under the ceiling from VI
😳😳😳 so true!!! I love that ceiling thing symbolically 👍
I love how Sevika arm basically where her loyalty lie. She sacrificed her arm to saved Silco, Smeech offer her a brand new arm for free if and only if she sides with him, which she didnt. Then she accept the arm jinx made for her and now stand with jinx.
Also love that line from Jinx "It was something i could fix", its a call back because Powder was the one blew her arm off.
It is a really cool moment. I loved the whole scene before, during, and after the fight. I love that after Silco dies, she almost immediately starts helping in small ways(saving Isha, building Sevika's arm). Free of his negative influence, she is already trending in a positive direction.
Wow, that blows my mind!😳👍
jinx managed to create sevika an arm that both encompasses her own artistic style and chaos, as well as caters to sevika's interests, as we learn in season one that she likes to play cards and gamble. so, a slots arm just makes sense! love the dynamic between them this season.
Love how you understand the traumas of each character and you are continuously thinking about how to help them
I love the parallel when jinx is in the water letting go of Silco, and we hear his voice from that flashback in season 1 saying, "Have you had enough?", right before she starts screaming just like he did back then.
You could say what Viktor is doing is something…glorious
Imagine having accepted your fate of dying, being assured that your partner will destroy the hexcore because he promised, and instead waking up as something mechanical brought back from the dead and that the hexcore was not only not destroyed, but is now part of your body and your new life. To make matters worse, you see the blueprints for the hextech weapons (under Sky's book), something you never agreed to. Not only did they not respect your death, but they also did not respect your will for the use you wanted to give to the hextech.
And that's because I'm not going to elaborate on the parallelism between Rio (Singed's experiment that Viktor knew as a child) and his resurrection. :')
That’s a great point, Viktor has to feel totally betrayed and now overwhelmed with who he has become👍
Worth noting that when Viktor heals Huck, he also restores his hairline. And in his vision of Sky, she no longer has her glasses. He's fixing what he sees as imperfections.
They could NEVER make me hate Jinx! I love how much you understand Jinx! When season 1 came out, it felt like everyone hated her, I was fighting for my life in the comments so its nice to see that you understand her. Can't wait till the next episode! One of my favs!
i genuinely look forward to these so much theyre the only thing i go on youtube for
Than you so much😊🙏
18:53 This moment... sums up Jinx for me. She is most of the time at her lowest point. Clearly weakened, emotionally and desperately in need of love... clinging to her attempt to be useful...
And, right in this moment when you wait and maybe even beg for life thhis time to give her some help... what does she get? More pain :D
That punch... is life answer. 🥊
Sevika and the little girl appearing, is like the consequence of her having even in this hell, kept holding on to something.
Her dance in the midst of this struggle, in the midst of this chaos is a lesson of resilience...
Anyway, just an interpretation of this scene that I loved so much. I'll shut up now 😂
loved your excitement for the jinx and sevika scene because that was me too!! totally agree on ur analysis of jinx btw, keep up the great content man :)
Small detail. Victor notices the blueprints for the weapons Jas had built, the ones he promised they would never build.
What I love about Jinx is that she's such an unreliable narrator to HERSELF.
End of season 1, she said yep, that's it, I'm just Jinx, I'm totally secure and solidly behind this new identity.
But she was lying to herself. She was desperately trying to solve her issues with some finality she just didn't have.
The undercity has mastered their own technology called Chemtech (using various chemicals for all sorts of stuff). The Chembarons are the crimelords/mob bosses at the top of the chemtech industries. They basically all run their own areas of the undercity with Silco in The Lanes being the overall boss.
Just like our world! So there’s Chemtech and Hextech!👍
The guy experimenting in the end is the guy who created Shimmer in S1 :)
I feel that you need an explanation on who Singed is. Singed is a scientist that used to work alongside Heimerdinger, its the one that "saved" Jinx on episode 8 of season 1, the one that had interactions with Viktor when he was young and the one that used to work for Silco at the first 3 episodes of season one (he fed that cat to the rat testing shimmer). So he is now the one doing all this dirty work on every final scene of the last episodes
There in the street Jinx was not fearful, she was avoidant. Some people avoid by escaping the dark alley. Some others avoid by becoming the dark alley.
This is probably my favorite episode of season 2.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the magnificent pun of Sevika being the 'One-Armed Bandit'?
I never even thought of it that way. But yeah, that is a freaking magnificent pun!
🫣
Little detail again, it was Isha who throws the grenade which acts as a distraction to help jinx.
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS! lets gooo!
Another great reaction to another great episode. Can't wait to see your reaction to episode 3! And the music just keeps on getting better!!
Love that music!😊
Vi was never there to save her, or capture her, she was there to execute her, and Jinx knows that.
12:06 Jayce's expression here is so sweet and beautiful, you can feel how much he missed Viktor just in the way he looks at him...
“I got lost in the song” real. Every time there’s a sequence like those I blacked out
Music is incredible in season 2!
Ah yes, the entrance of viktor the messiah
I can't wait to see your opinion on the music next episode. There's incredible music throughout the series.
YAYYYY so exited every time you are watching arcane! makes my day :D
I'm surprised by how many people reacting to Arcane say absolutely nothing about Jinx asking Silco "who put all these holes into you?"
She doesn't blame herself or Vi or even Cait, she just decides her little dinner party didn't happen.
This is a bad take. As a trauma response Jinx can only bring herself to acknowledge the manner of his death at that moment, she would not have been able to complete her eulogy if she also took responsibility, it would have been too much and Jinx was not the focus of her monologue, Silco was. She knows she is the cause of Silco's death, but now was not the time to bring that up. Jinx was speaking to Silco about Silco. No one else mattered at that moment. Besides Jinx didn't shoot to kill Silco, she shot to protect Vi, and just as Mylo and Claggor died when Powder was trying to save Vi, Silco died when Jinx tried to save Vi. Silco forgave Jinx in his dying breath, Jinx doesn't need to carry that burden, the only person that COULD blame Jinx for Silco's death forgave her. Who are you, who suffered no harm, to blame her?
@Hawkido Jinx rightfully also blames herself. (Did you finish season 2?)
@ She doesn't blame herself. She merely states that she might owe Silco a revolution due to the "murdering and all" but she does not blame herself, she sorely misses Silco and regrets his death. But she does not blame herself. For comparison, she blames herself for Mylo and Claggor's death. Years of carrying that guilt. Silco forgave her. It is done, regrettable but done.
Im Allways hyped when i see your videos on my startpage (^:
I'm so excited for this reaction it's so good this episode
i love this Series so much and i definitely will stick around to watch avatar the last air bender with you!!!
Thank you so much❤️
Quickly becoming one of my favorites! 😊
Thank you so much!🙏😊
He’s not gonna be ready for these next episodes 😭😭😭 love the reactions tho
That’s what I’m afraid of 😊🫣
Chem baron is basically crime lords or gang leaders. With Silco was the most poewerful of course. Then name might be because of their technology is called Chemtech
Basically like Sevika said, turf war and all that shit.
Thank you for this🙏
I know we're still far from that point in time... but I'm still gonna say it.
DON'T WORRY! I'M NOT SPOILING ANYTHING!
Just know Season 2 Episode 6, 7 and 8 might get a little confusing, but they clear up if you keep watching :)
Thank you for this👍
Just letting you know, between episodes 3&4 there is about a year time-jump
We have to get this man to watch better call saul. patreon members do your thing.
Victor voice is sick! 😮
I get so frustrated watching your reactions because you stop and talk right before the show answers your questions, but I suddenly realized it is because you are doing exactly what I wished for. You are stopping and telling me what your thoughts are at that second, because if you played through a few seconds later when you get more info, those thoughts would be dead and gone and I would not know those thoughts ever existed. So thanks for giving me exactly what I wanted, and shame on me for not appreciating it more.
Yes!!!! That’s exactly it, thank you for saying this and for joining me on the ride😊👍
The lab dude in the end is Singed, he’s the creator of shimmer and was there when the explosion happened in season one, that’s why his chin is covered and lost an eye, he’s still working on one of his subjects to reach ‘immortality’, he doesn’t have limit when it comes to science, and dont forget that he mentioned he was in piltover, but due to his ‘unethical’ experiments, he parted ways with heimerdinger, more details will come in future episodes where you will understand his character development and his justifications
The gas the Enforcers are using isn’t exactly tear gas: it’s a toxic byproduct of Piltover’s industries seeping into Zaun. Next episode shows more about it, but it’s not simply tear gas, and it represents Piltover’s oppression of Zaun.
I thought it was a martial byproduct of the fissures, but Caitlin's family eventually started venting it away from people
@ the gasses are a byproduct of the industrialization of Piltover, they just happen to end up in Zaun. It’s not super clear but I think the fissures is just the parts of Zaun where the gas would accumulate, and it happens to be where the miners would often, well, mine.
It's also alive. Anything toxic eventually gain consciousness in Runeterra if concentrated enough. The Grey is aware of itself, and malicious. When the enforces throw the greybcanister into Jinx's hideout, it moves in jerking motions against the concept of wind or gas dispersion, Heenot sees it's eyes, the Kiramman archives show it as a blob monster looking this, and when Heenot was tied up, the tendrils of smoke he's breathing in are also not properly obeying how smoke would. It's alive, aware, and malicious, and Vi willingly used it as a weapon, THAT was the ultimate betrayal, they used the very thing theyre trying to prevent to attack the people they were meant to protect
Thank you👍
OMG YOU WILL LOVE AVATAR AND IT SUCH A PALLET CLEANSER AFTER ALL THIS SHIMMER WE HAVE GUZZLED TOGETHER
I can’t wait!!!😁
I am sooooo happy that you are going to watch Avatar ❤ it will be awesome
Me too!!😊
The music montages tell parts of the story more in season 2...
Sevika and Silco....my favorite duo
"trauma city" hehe he has no ide
20:56 SEVIKAAAAAA
Her saying she killed Silco is a way to be tough to scare those gang members but deep down Silco’s death is destroying her.
One thing to note is that Netflix's subtitling on songs is literally incorrect, the subbed lyrics are not true to the song's lyrics, and they didn't even try to correct it. 😒😒
For example, at 5:21, the actual lyrics are "Pretty little lamb, don't come down here."
No, because it's a reference to Dirty Little Animals from season 1.
Let's goooo!
The last airbender gets so good in the later seasons
I think when the gang member said “blubbering” he was taking about Jinx crying
Did you already watch avatar the last airbender? It has some pretty serious heavy character development and A LOT a therapist could psychoanalyze and pick up from that show
We’re will watch that next, our Patreon VIP tier members pick the shows we watch and all unedited episodes are there👍
You should react to the band Slaughter to prevail you won’t be disappointed!
Vi never reassured her that she loved her which led her to chose the Silco chair
Sorry the Jinx chair
Someone said that Viktor decides to leave because he sees Jayce’s hextex weapon designs on the table
You understand Jinx so well
I would kill to watch you react to The Haunting of Hill House lol
That is a therapist-reacts gold mine!
Her line about being cursed and ruining a family or society is so sad
Silco was the last family member who loved her 😢
I love jinx so much😭
Me too!!😊
I think killing Silco is what made her believe she was cursed
Hextech Jesus
It’s so sad when Jinx says “it’s something I could fix” because she thinks she is a jinx so this was her chance to do something good 😢
I kind of want to see you react to attack on titan. That's a dark show with some insane psychological implications on the main character.
It must hurt to see Vi betray her and working with the enemy
She believes she is a jinx because no matter what she does people close to her die
Day 2 of asking for The OA reaction
OA???
@@ReactionTherapyOfficial yes I think you would enjoy watching it it's a psychological type sci fi about Near death experiences
Jinx can’t murder Vi because she still loves her meanwhile Vi is willing to gas her
can someone with borderline syndrom watch arcane safly?
That’s Good question 🫣
@@ReactionTherapyOfficial interessting 👍
I don’t know if you’ve listened to this already, but I highly recommend reacting to TV by Billie Eilish, it’s in the same single as The 30th.
OMG!! yes, please react to Avatar the last airbender, it's definitely worth it!
W
❤🎉
You should react to the lil peep everybody’s everything documentary you can find it on UA-cam
Jinx wants to hurt Vi she thinks Vi betrayed her
Where is episode 1 reaction?
Reacto to "Will you be mine" by dc the don
Jinx is so numb
THE RAPIST REACT LETS GOOOO🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥
Viktor->Jesus
Vi never reassured her that she loved her which led her to chose the Jinx chair
Her saying she killed Silco is a way to be tough to scare those gang members but deep down Silco’s death is destroying her.
She believes she is a jinx because no matter what she does people close to her die
