Everyone hates Jaime for the greatest thing he ever did. Imagine people despising you, for saving thousands of lives.
Tens of thousands
Most of them don't know why he did it bc, just like Ned, they don't wanna hear it. It's actually kinda ironic with Ned (iykyk)
@@yo-yosmuggler2414 half a million
@@3COI no-people ddnt know because jaime didnt tell anyone. he didnt tell others because its simply a bad situation regardless of how you cut it- for everyone to know their king had the power to INSTANTY vaporize them and was preparing to do it it? no one would ever trust the throne again, that power is madness in itself, jaime talked about this in the series, he decided to protect the throne, the future of the throne by sacrificing his own image nad killing the king. it was an intentional choice to not go public with the truth and the ultimate telling t his honor and priorities.
Hundreds of thousands
The bath scene is my single favorite scene in the show. Saving Brienne from Locke's men was the first glimmer of decency in him, then this scene completely puts his broken oath in a radically different context. We spend the first 2.5 seasons thinking he's nothing but an opportunist who murdered the king he was sworn to protect, but here we learn he did it to save King's Landing, knowing he'd forever be labeled a kingslayer and an oathbreaker afterwards. It's a common cliche that comes up when discussing Jaime, but it's true-Cersei brings out the worst in Jaime, Brienne brings out the best in him.
Gendry meant that he would always be inferior to Arya since he is common born (as far as he knows) while Arya is nobility. According to their laws someone like Gendry is always supposed to call someone like Arya “m’lady”
Why would u comment this spoiler azz comment smh @@rai2423
@@everythingdivine That’s not a spoiler idiot. That was revealed in season 1. Keep up 😂
That is not a spoiler. It's putting the meaning behind what he said
@@everythingdivine How is it a spoiler? It was revealed who Gendey’s dad was in season 1. They are in season 3. Maybe you need to keep up with the storyline while watching the show.
This isn’t a spoiler, just some background from the book. Wildling men have to kidnap their wives according to their culture. It’s not really love at first sight but moreso her having been kidnapped by him and therefore, according to wildling culture, she is now his woman. They already a couple but as usually, John Snow knows nothing.
Jon: No see we South of the wall now, we in Jonland now, y'all the one's that don't know ish.
“Someone’s raven was just cappin” I’m dead 💀💀💀💀💀💀
Jon Snow (Kitt Harrington) fell in love ❣️😘 with Ygritte (Rose Leslie) on the set of "Game of Thrones" and they got married before the series officially ended in 2019. She is actually an English noblewoman in real life and grew up in a castle 🏯.
*Rose Leslie
Oh, I thought she was Scottish from Aberdeen? Believe she grew up in Lickleyhead Castle. (Let the giggling commence)
I clicked so fast 💨

Right there just got a break and this popped up. break just got a lil longer.
The episode when we learn Jamie saved more lives than everyone else put together.
We always knew that, actually. He k1lled the MAD KING. The king was mad, cruel, psychotic, and Kamie k1lled him.
The thing is: we follow the Starks so closely in this show that we end up seeing things through their eyes, so we never notice how right Jamie was to k1ll the king.
7:46
😅 Just in case yall missed it.
“Kissed by fire” 🔥
Its what wildings call their redheads. They are rare in the books
Also in the books, Thoros brings Beric back from the dead by performing “the last kiss” where he fills his mouth with fire and breathes flame into the deceased
Reactors Asia and BJ noticed that there were lots of redheads in the wilding army.
It's because they are supposed to be the Scottish, the wild men thatbthecromans built Hadrean's wall to keep out of Britan.
We're really not that rare...in the books. George has a thing for redheads.
@@AzkuulaKtaktuim talking wildling culture
Red hair or variant is characteristic of several houses like the tullys.
25:36 Adison trying SO hard to not feel bad for Jamie 😂Ngl bro, I couldn't hate him after this
When Ned Stark was the hand in season 1, he sent Beric Dondarrion (eye-patch)and 100 men to execute the Mountain for murder and treason.
15:06 I swear Robb has some of the greatest lines in this series. This and his 3 wins talk to Jamie is GOATED
There's a very subtle moment in this episode that's hard to catch: During the exchange between Jorah and Barristan, Jorah mentions the assassination plot against Dany and then asks something like "I suppose no one on the small council could talk sense to him?" and Barristan says "I didn't sit on the small council". That exchange was Jorah trying to figure out if Barristan knew that Jorah had been the one sending information about Dany to Varys. Small council meetings were the only times that came up and a Lord Commander may or may not attend those meetings so there was like a 50/50 shot Barristan knew that Jorah had betrayed her. This was him confirming that his secret was safe
So the thing that you missed is that guy Sir Loras slept with was there to try to get information out of him, which worked. He found out he, “the knight of flowers”, was going to be wed to Sansa, which is what the Tyrells were planning as part of their intent to become a more powerful family. He, the blonde guy he slept with, works for Little Finger, and told Little Finger. Little Finger then went to Sansa following that to confirm this by seeing how she’d react to him saying he could take her with him on his next assignment and get her out of King’s Landing, which she had wanted before and had asked him to let her know the next time he would be leaving. So her saying it may be better to wait (when she’s wanted to go this whole time) confirms for him she has a reason to stay , which she is not telling him, but he’s already aware of. Baelish reported that to Cersei, who reported it to Tywin, and Tywin basically said we need to stop their plan before they even begin, hence “we need to kill this union in its crib”, and the rest you know 😁😬
Stannis' daughter survived greyscale, which is a disease that causes the hard skin she has. Dany's baby had scales bc Targaryens (and not always the women, one of king Maegor's non Targaryen wives had a stillborn dragon looking baby) sometimes produce children w scales due to their draconic ancestry
Arya saying she could be Gendry’s Family, breaks my heart.
The problem with Danni is everyone is telling her she can do no wrong.
That event changed Jaime, for the worse...and he's definitely responsible for the terrible choices and actions he made after, he made choices, bad/evil ones.....traumatic events shape people, for better or worse...what a great acting display by him and Brianne in the tub....one of the best/most meaningful scenes in the show
Y’all are putting in the work this week fam! Thanks for the drops back to back like this.
🙏🏾 man I got y’all!! ❤️

Yes! Thank you!! I’m sure … we all look forward to this!
At some point, now that we're deep into Olenna Tyrell being in the show (the old lady with sass for days), if you ever get bored and have a minute to spare, google pictures of her when she was young (the actress is named Diana Rigg), and just salute the casting department because Natalie Dormer (Margaery) looks so much like a young Diana Rigg it's crazy.
I was/am a big fan of her character, Emma Peel in "The Avengers" series, and so many of her other performances. So glad she was cast in this show with such a great character and got to complete it. After GoT, she was cast in another good role, Mrs Pumphries in "All Creatures Great and Small", but sadly died after completeing just the first season.
I was looking for this one 👌🏽
I looked and thank you!
Came to say this. Also, Diana Rigg was a "Bond girl" back in the day
20:01 yall finally get to meet Shireen!!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥰🥰🥰
In the books the reader gets access to Jamie's thoughts in his chapters (written as POVs) and it's so much easier to understand how Jamie became the Jamie we had in season 1. At one time he did have honor. He was the youngest to join the Kings Guard. To me, he was like Sansa was. With all those stories, songs, and fantasies filling his head, and then he learned life wasn't storybooks and songs. And that good people aren't always good.
Hound is not trash talking in the book. He's burned really bad and is crying for help.
I'm not sure if you've picked up on this, but Thoros of Myr is a Red Priest of the Lord of Light. He's the guy with the Brotherhood Without Banners that brought back Beric Dondarrion (fellow BWB member) six times from death. They both worship the Lord of Light. That's the same god that Melisandre worships. You know - the one that created the little Stannis demon baby. They mentioned the Lord of Light (that's why Beric can do that cool fire sword trick), but I wasn't sure that you put that together yet since you didn't mention it.
I was going to point out the same thing!
“He looks like a Darius.” Now that you mention it, he does.
Ion know he kinda looks like a Louis
@@mandarinclemmie Yup! Definitely a Louis.
Him saying that Aria would be “milady” was him speaking about her status as a noble. The starks are a family of nobility and if they were to be anywhere together her status would be recognized as higher than his. He would have to refer to Aria as “milady”
Stannis Baratheons daughter has greyscale. She got it from an infected doll. Usually deadly. But someone stopped it from spreading.
if you remember in the first season, Ned declares 'The Mountain' as an enemy of the crown; he Sent Berrick Dondarrion (6 time, six time, SIX TIME! dead champion of fire) to kill the mountain. although it was a different actor
Back to back thank yall 🖤
Np!! ❤️❤️❤️

Jaime with the lore drop lmao
One of the great things the author of the books did is that he started writing Jaime's POV chapters in book 3 only. So for 2 books you only see him through other people's eyes, plus of course things he did, but when you get his chapters you get to know his thoughts, and you get suprised as he is not the evil, arrogant man without empathy that you thought he was. The author also did that for Cersei who has her chapters in book 4, and contrary to Jaime is revealed to be quite stupid and insane lol
Awwww shit. Always appreciate that you guys don't fake, or play-up your reactions like I've seen happen on others channels, like "theater kid" energy type shit. (No offense to theater kids here, don't come after me)
Keep up the good work, my guys
Lol "When did momma get back on the advisory council?" Come on now, Addison... you ever try to stop a momma from giving her kid advice?😂
just finished episode 4 and now this is here. today is a good day :))
I will say that Ned's single big non spoken weakness is that he never understood nuances. Jamie's story was just crystal clear proof of it. No matter what choice Jamie would have done, vow or two would have been broken and Ned would have given hard time without listening.
Props to Brianne who gave him an opportunity to listen before laying insults. She is helping him to become a better by not just being a door matt but being kind in her own way.
The stunning Diana Rigg ( 1938-2020) as Lady Olenna Tyrell. She portrayed Tracy , the wife of James Bond, in James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service and 1960's series The Avengers.
the mark on shireen's face is called greyscale, it's a type of infection that turns your skin to a kind of scaly stone which she apparently had as a child but they were able to stop the progression--loving this series!!
Anyone else watching, waiting to see certain characters climb that Got list, and trying to not say anything? 😂
Yeah 😂😂
I like in the book how it wasnt clean and took multiple swings with an ax showing not only was it emotionally but physically difficult as well. This scene is still fire
I would have Daddy Tywin on my top 10 favorite. He's such a badass, puts his kids in check.
Ned understood only laws and codes, because he wasn't trained or groomed for leading; his brother was. Ned's role was to obey commands, and with the untimely death of both his father and older brother he was suddenly swung to that position where he is meant to be leading without having been prepared for it.
You guys are absolutely hysterical! Much praise
This is why GOT early seasons were the greatest, the characters are so multi-layered and not cut and dry good or bad, it's amazing
I love when I open UA-cam and see a new reaction from you guys! Thank you for the videos and your breakdown of the episodes❤
Loving the content guys! You are funny and have some interesting perspectives. Quality stuff :) keep 'em coming and i'll be here for it! ❤️✌🏻
@34:25: Sansa does not feel anything for Baelish, she’s trying hard to hide the real reason why she wants to stay. She’s engaged to Loras and does not want him to find out. She is not aware that he already knows. That’s why he has this half smile when she is blatantly lying to his face. At this stage, Sansa just plays dumb and is not as naive as she used to be.
I'm so excited whenever you guys watch a new episode. FYI: The cousin killing is totally a show thing. Yeah, I get the struggle but it's there without the character assassination. This season is so good and your banter is a fantastic addition.
I had to choose between you two and another reaction channel which I love, and who also uploaded a new video, but it was Everyday Negroes for the win. You guys do something positive for my mood. Thanks so much, guys. Many blessings to you both ❤😊
25:40 watching you switch up and wrestle with your conflicting feelings about jaime funny asf😭
Nah who edits the videos cause the cuts are soo funny😂😂😂 brother euuughhh😂😂😂
🙌🏾 I appreciate ya!!! I had to throw that in there because he expressed his disgust better than I did! 😂

Love the reactions fellas
I think one of, if not the best thing about this show is Jamie’s character development. I really hope y’all finish this series because by the end, Jamie will definitely be one of your favorite characters. He wants, so bad to be a good and honorable person. He’s just conflicted with love. A weird love, but still love.
Love your reactions!
The actor who playes Grey Worm also sings (good music) and he playes also in the show Interview with the Vampire, season 2 just ended a view weeks ago and also has been picked up for a third season. Syntell also reacted to it
It’s just bad strategy to kill hostages in a war
Because as soon as you set that standard, that’s just the rules of the game, and now everybody’s gonna end up dead
You can’t win war that way
Having Jamie over little finger (creeping on sansa after he set up her dad) and his dad (making Tyrion marry Sansa and what he did to Tyrions first wife) after this episode is crazy lol
I can’t lie as of right now what Jamie did in season 1 episode 1 has forever scarred me…

@@edn yeah it’s fucked up but somehow less fucked up to me than paying your guards to have sex with your sons wife cause she was a lady of the night or setting up ned stark to move in on both his wife and daughter. But I get it shoving bran makes Jamie hard to redeem
@@edn Little Finger is the only character that gets worse every single time I reread the books. The actor did a great job, but Sansa's reaction to him just makes skin crawl in a way that tge show just cannot capture. It's not uncommon for people to call him kreepy finger.
Yall catching feelings for Jamie now! 😂
Now see didn't nobody say all that...

Really enjoying you brothers watching one of the greatest shows to ever come across television.
22:55 Davos raised his hand to Lady Melissandra when he came back after surviving the battle, he was locked up for trying to kill her
Yes, Jaime killing the king was long before he pushed Bran out of the window. For reference, it was from this war campaign that Ned got Jon Snow, and Jon is his first born (even before Robb), so Bran wouldn't be born for a while.
"My Lady" or "M'Lady" is a honorific people of lower social status address upper classes with. It comes from their titles "Lords and Ladies."
You halfway right. The honorific is always on, though. Even the King should address any noble as "My Lord" or "My Lady", and any knight as "Ser". Smallfolk slur the words - milord, milady - to show deference by not speaking proper.
@@AzkuulaKtaktu Right, I was just more so referring to the scene with Gendry and pointing out why what he said had meaning. Because there would always be a difference in class and by calling Arya “my lady” he was putting emphasis on it. Also I thought they said “M’Lady” and “M’Lord” because of their accents and being uneducated? I could be wrong though. I just assumed that was “the peasant’s way” of saying it because when Arya was called out by Tywin he said lowborn girls say “M’Lord, not My Lord.” And Arya responded that she was “taught properly.”
@@alienboi9498 yeah, we can extrapolate from Tywin's remark that the lowborn are expected to sound uneducated even though many of them are probably familiar with the word "my"
I quarreled with m'neighbor and he bloodied m'nose, m'lord
@@AzkuulaKtaktu What an amusing sentence 😂

Typically, caves stay between 55 and 65 year round...good to know in extreme weather. They also tend to flood VERY fast when it rains.
In the books, Loras' grief over Renly is more profound. In fact, he's still grieving and never had a relationship that we know of after Renly's death. At least, so far.

yall are so funny, i look forward to yall videos
W00t! A Weds surprise.
Thanks for sharing ✌️
Keep the eps coming!! Loving the reactions!!
I really hate how they changed Loras in the TV show. In the books he is one of the greatest knights in the kingdom. He is brave and young. And he did truy love Renly. Loras had been Renlys squire before they were lovers. When Renly got killed, Loras killed the guards gurarding the door out of rage for not not saving Renly. He then took Renlys body to bury him in their own secret place.
Loras is only allied with the Lannisters because he wanted to kill Stannis out of revenge. We never see Loras with any other lover again. No candle could replace the sun, or something like that he says about Renly vs any other. Most people in the books are oblivious to the fact that he is gay. Jaime is one of the few who knew.
I wholeheartedly agree. Renly was also done dirty; not a good look!
@@SilveryRow Yes, him not being a jouster and instead afraid of blood?
I DIED WHEN YALL SAID "BUM BUMP"
What ya think Robert would do if he found out about his wife and her brother and all his kids? They all die if Jaime don't push Bran.

Maybe some more explanation at 33:10, "They always like you a little bit." Sounds like a GoT side story from Tennessee, lol
Jaime: So by your logic I should have slayed my father and let the king burn the city to the ground and killed the both of you to protect his mad ambitions?
Ned: Yes you swore and oath.
Jaime: Eff you, I killed the man who roasted your father alive as your brother was strangled. Kick rocks.
6:15 theres steamy running water its below freezing outside.. and caves stay between 50 and 70 degrees because they are in the ground or under it
Gotta keeo your head in the game to get that kinda service! 😂😂😂😂😂
13:30 Gendry is saying she would be "mi'lady" because Arya is nobility and he is not. He is suppose to already be calling her that. Basically right now he is saying he will never be equal enough to be her family since he is lowborn in comparison to her, so he will be serving her instead. It is why she got upset and left. She sees him as family and doesn't consider her nobility with him.
Aye Bran it’s both..M Lady and his Lady 😅😂😂
I know you aren't supposed to like Tywin, but I do LOL. He's a jerk and not a very good father, BUT I like that he commands a room as soon as he enters. He knows how to wield power and he absolutely demands respect. He also does value his legacy, which means he HAS to value his family and family lineage, which are good qualities, BUT he COULD be a better father while doing that lol.
Grandma controlling sis and brother mustard movements
Spoiler - John’s tongue does NOT fall off!
13:10 it means that she is a high born girl and he would basically be a servant. They wouldn’t be equals like a real family.
