this may be silly, but i honestly think a series where you just recap what you learn in your classes would be very fun! i already love these types of videos, and i think it could help you study too! (just a thought lol)

I love your creative story telling. My granddaughter and I used to listen to you for hours when she was young and we'd watch you draw and listen to your stories. She still draws. Thanks Peter, congrats on the magazine article.

You're the reason I got into a creative field of work. I remember back in middle school not knowing what I wanted to do, until I came across one of your videos where you received a new pen. I binge watched your channel and fell in love with the idea of working in a creative field. Im now 22, and have been working in the graphic design field for 6 years. Working both as a freelance artist, and later as the main designer for a multi national company that is local to my home town.
Glad to see you still making videos!

I was lucky enough to get a copy of the magazine. It's satisfying to have read the article and seen the drawings being a fan of Peter. I also think it's great when individuals artists find ways to share their interests and provide artistic inspiration for others! Big ups to Diego and Peter

The way that you can use a fountain pen without getting more ink on your hands than on the paper leaves me in awe. I've never mastered fountain pens. Dip pens are for me, though, especially quills that I make out of found feathers.

Hullo Peter, Congrats on the magazine! So Very Cool! For sure!! I fount it all quite interesting and it reminded me of a Greek mythology class and studying sculpture techniques and how we still use many techniques today and there is no new way to mine marble for statues! Sonic cutters fail to preserve the stone and so it must be hand cut! I look forward to your videos, I enjoy the chat and learning and sometimes I am reminded of lessons from my college day too!

I like listening to you talk about school. My art history class started waaay before what you're talking about here. it was split between like "ancient" and "modern", so you had to take two different classes to get it all. I only took the ancient stuff, lots of wall / cave paintings, fertility statues and whatnot, very basic shapes. We didn't cover a lot of how the dead were honored, that was cool to learn about. Thank you for sharing!

Dude! This drawing is so awesome! It’s so fun to watch all the details layer up to something so complex. I also really enjoy when you dive into history, it is easy to tell you find interest in it as well.
Question: do you ever consider resuming your “what I think about art” where you take some pieces and discuss your thoughts? Has art school adjusted the way you think about some pieces, or is talking about art like this already part of your discussions in school? No pressure, just curious. Love your art so much, your process is always so mesmerizing. Thanks

How about a little lesson in book terminology? That sound fun? :D
    No?
Alright, well, you're getting it anyway, so refresh by going to 6:11 and here we go.
The pages of a book are called "leaves."
When he first opens it you can see that one leaf that's pasted down onto the hardcover. That one's called the "paste-down."
The first leaf that's flying freely-usually in a novel this page is blank, and there may be more than one-that one's called the flyleaf.
There are more terms, but those are the ones relevant to this video. I hope this was interesting and informative.
Incidentally, I just got my Peter Pen in today and proceeded, in my excitement, to make a catastrophic mess, so, I suppose I'm doing something right.
Speaking of right, I am noticing some inconsistency in the pen's writing, but I'm sure, as I wrote in one of my first test notes, I'm just doing something wrong.

    • @Selrisitai
      @Selrisitai 10 місяців тому +1

Oh, and you see what I did up there? The way I used "right" and "write" in an odd way in the sentence? That's called a "polyptoton," one of the Figures of Rhetoric.
Other examples would be "My heart of hearts" and, "Please, please me."
More strictly it's the use of one word in different forms, or rather, perhaps, the use of homonyms in a creative way.
O.K., the infotainment is done up, with and for.
So that little writing technique I just did, starting with "done up," and then implying the expressions "done with" and "done for," without actually saying "done" a second or third time, that writing technique is called-
