That first clip is rage bait btw. That woman is not a lead developer in EA but she is part of a development team that is working on the Black Panther game. In the clip shes talking about a LGBTQ+ PoC dating simulator indie game called "Validate" that she worked on a few years ago so thats why she talks about hiring people like her to work on that project. Are her words still problematic? Yes of course they are. Being upset about her words is perfectly fine. Her words were unfortunately not the reason the clip was posted. The guy who posted the clip didnt know she wasnt a lead dev at EA but he put it in the title anyway. Seeing the "libsoftiktok" water mark its pretty obvious to judge the guys intentions when he posted the clip.
Edit: For some more info her name is Dani Lalonders. Shes no where near having any type of lead role at EA and she has essentially zero control on anything that gets put in the Black Panther game. Shes part of a sub development team owned by EA called Cliffhanger Games. Theres also zero chance that a company like EA would let any kind of lead in their development team do an interview like this from their own bedroom.
