I really like how they included even small details with the paint pertaining to iron deficiency. I was iron deficient as a kid and would eat paint off the walls. Obviously better in my late teens, but it’s always nice to see little correct details portrayed :)

But it has nothing to do with this and also similar to some people craving ice when iron deficient, satisfying these cravings is not necessarly going to help your condition so dont eat your walls please. Weird cravings are not always a sign of deficiency, and usually not the treatment for it. It might be a deficiency, a hormone imbalance, a pregnancy, a PICA, just your brain being silly, or something completely different.

The second you go against the Hippocratic oath, that degree is worthless in my eyes because you clearly learned nothing from med school
I can relate, as a teacher, other teachers like to talk about their students, making fun of them, criticizing them as a group, but are the first to pretend that this a horrible thing that others do in public, kissing up to administrators; I avoid eating with the general group for that reason. I actually prefer talking to or eating with the students (middle school and high school).

They still have to treat him while trying to get ahold of a parent. They don’t just have them sit there and wait. I didn’t catch his age, but after a certain age they have final say over routine medical, surgical, and emergency choices. In Washington state it’s age 14.

Red meat was introduced by the non melanated and that’s y it takes so long to digest if it can. Plus I went on a holistic journey almost 2 years once you stop eating something n try to eat it you body will show you how it feels about certain foods.
although some vegetables can contain the same sort of important nutrients as meat, the high fiber content of them makes it much more difficult to actually absorb such nutrients. meat is a much more effective way to get these nutrients. meat is good and the act of humans cooking meat helped to evolve our brains. sorry.

The point is that what is considered cool changes depending on your surroundings. Getting through med school and becoming a doctor requires a weird person who spends more time studying than socializing. They aren't going to be the sort of cool that goes to parties all the time. Yet at 30 a working fully qualified doctor is no longer a weirdo. Society accepts doctors as ideal citizens. Meanwhile the kids who are cool at 10 or 14 could turn out to be cool adults, but they are just as likely to be scumbags or losers. It isn't so much that weird kids become cool at that your degree of coolness in middle school or jr high has basically no relation to your success as an adult. ps. almost everyone thinks they are weird. And they are all right. Everyone one of them.
If there's anyone who knows exactly how he feels, it's me. I lost my second grandfather (mom's side) to pneumonia and a TEENY bit of COVID. He got over most of it but he aspirated a lot. He was on a feeding tube for a while and stuff. The day I lost him.......I felt like I lost a part of myself. I miss him so much! 😔😢😭

I think when I was young I had an undiagnosed sodium deficiency. I would eat all salt. .... Including street salt.
