Why does it feel like you are shading Illit? Like damn, comparing them to New Jeans and then basically saying if either KIOF or Babymonster win then it is deserved - purposefully not saying it would be deserved if any of the three win?
All I did was praise ILLIT.
When I compared them to NewJeans, it was because they share a similar concept-one that faced criticism from netizens when they first debuted. However, I fully supported ILLIT, stating they really suit that concept well.
Regarding SOTY, I even mentioned that they could easily win based on their strong chart performance. As for KIOF and BAEMON, I think you just misunderstood me. Those two were simply MY PERSONAL FAVORITES to win, and the fact that ILLIT was even nominated shows they ABSOLUTELY deserve to be in the conversation.
Please keep in mind, this is just my personal opinion, and I don’t intend to spread hate towards any group.
IU is definitely the artist of the year contender among the soloist.

I feel like these categories are too broad since each award show prioritizes different factors when deciding soty or aoty but my predictions would be
Mama soty: magnetic or perfect night both songs dominated on spotify and did well on melon enough so to give them the edge over other songs
Mma: supernova
As it was that charts biggest hit in years there's no song that comes close
Gda: either supernova or magnetic
Roty should go to illit and overall
Artistoty should go to aespa
Albumoty would go to either straykids or seventeen due to the sales factor

You bring up a very good point!
Every award show has its own unique criteria, which can make predicting Daesang winners a bit tricky. Especially this year, I think we were showered with a wide range of Daesang level releases from a lot of groups.

seventeen is the aoty contender for MAMA by far due to their early tracking for god of music
I would add plot twist for soty it's doing a bit TOO WELL in charts , not my personal fav tho
@@Ellacarat Yeahhh, I think SOTY is a bit of a reach for plot twist. I think it’s doing well, but I can think of many songs that have performed double or even triple of that.
Also keep in mind, I focus on female groups only💕
This list is so not right but since its your opinion I can’t do anything but please know korean award shows look at korean charts and not Spotify and if you look at the predictions according to korean charts for mama roty illt and tws will take it and mama aoty and aloty will be taken by seventeen. Mma aoty and aloty can go to aespa but roty will definitely go to illt and tws

I’ve included Spotify stats just to give us a general idea of how these groups are performing, but in the future I can try to add some actual chart statistics😊

I missed out on IU tbh.
I know she was quite popular earlier in the year, but I never got around to listening to her music.

Korean award shows are irrelevant. It's whatever company spends the most money... ask gd.
Im sorry but i can guarantee mama and gda are definitely based on chart performance if gd releases only 1 hit song in a year he can’t get daesang since they will be artists who releases 2 cbs where their digitals can overtake gd 1cb so its their criteria and its not their fault
