In South Africa we have 11 official languages so it's quite easy for most of us to pick up languages and accents cause we're so diverse as a nation so I'm not suprised that she's able to pronounce korean words so fluently.😭 edit for those who are curious : The languages are : 1. English(UK english ) , 2.Sepedi/ Northern Sotho(my home language) 3.Tsonga(my 2nd home language) 4.Zulu (most spoken language after English I believe), 5.Xhosa 6.Venda 7.Swati 8.Ndebele 9.Setswana 10.Sesotho/ Southern Sotho (Very easy for someone who is fluent in Sepedi to understand, they are a bit similar) 11.Afrikaans (Very similar to dutch) 12.sign language ( recent but is an official official language making it the twelfth language)

Exactly! South Africa has such a diverse pot of languages that we all able to pronounce other South African languages without even speaking it. Especially because Tyla is coloured, she is exposed to different languages. As a South African of Indian descent, it's easy for me to pronounce Korean words, and Tyla has some Indian heritage, so It's also probably from that part of her culture

At first, I thought it would be awkward because of the language, mentality, and culture barrier, but this episode was so funny! Still a bit clumsy like all Nothing Prepared Episodes, and this is part of its charm, but adorable and funny! Youngji is a really unique host and she can make everyone relaxed and at ease. At first, I thought it would be awkward because of the language, mentality, and culture barrier, but this episode was so funny! Still a bit clumsy like all Nothing Prepared Episodes, and this is part of its charm, but adorable and funny! Youngji is a really unique host and she can make everyone relaxed and at ease. And her English is so good, I love how she's not afraid to use words wrong or mess up the grammar a little, what's important is that everything she says in English is understandable and she can convey her point to the guest! TikTok English queen Youngji, I'm so proud of her! Also, this is my first time watching Tyla's interview/variety show, aside from her MVs and performances, she's so pretty and easy-going!
