🎊 MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU BOTH 🎊 Thankyou for bringing us some lovely vlogs and may it continue ,thankyou for taking time and replying to comments much appreciated take care drive safe and happy motoring 👍👍
I know exactly what Laura meant about that forest walk being eerie. Lovely though and great for young Chancer 👍 Great park up too. I bet that would be a good place for spotting pine marten. I can’t stand being too hot. How people have their central heating on all the time I have no idea. I can’t bear it when I go into a shop and it’s like a furnace 🥵My house is cold but I light the fire and once I’m warmed up off it goes 😂 I’ve always been someone who’d rather be too cold than too hot. Wishing you both a very merry Christmas. Hope you have a wonderful time with your family. Nikki x 🎅🏼🎄🏴🚌🌨️
Great vid, thanks very much. As a future vanlifer I'm fascinated to understand the possible challenges you face when wild camping in the UK- and you are always honest and drama-free, which is brilliant. I really get what you're saying about sometimes constant moving can get a bit tiresome. I've been travelling for the last 4 years on my canal boat, and there are those times you want to stay still for a couple of months. Some people are true nomads, but there are also people also like a break from the nomad life now and then. I do still think you should consider a separating toilet instead of a cassette, for wildcamping. No need to visit elsan points, just dig a hole and bury your solid waste in a compostable bag every few days (which is much less horrible to deal with when its separated out). And the urine (as long as there no chemicals added) can go into rivers or just use a public toilet. I'm really impressed how you manage to get around with such a long vehicle train, and you never get stressed. My thinking is to use a smaller van, so I can get into more places, and I'll put most of my tools and gear in storage. Essentially I want to travel like a tourist, with only food and clothes in the van, plus a few emergency tools and bit of kit. For example in summer, my heavier winter clothes will go into storage, and vice versa during winter. This is a bit left field, but have you considered a very small log burner? I have diesel heating in my boat, but the coal stove transformed it during cold weather. Coals in a stove will keep giving off heat all night long, so the boat interior still has a lovely dry heat when you get up in the morning, and you never get condensation It might look a bit weird with a chimney, but it is removable for when you move, and the steady all-night warmth is a real contrast to the heat I get from the diesel central heating system.
A possible challenge in Scotland is that "wild camping" laws exclude motorised activity. Disposal of human waste as you describe in Scotland is also illegal.
That park up looked right up our tree. Fabulous. 🤗❤️🚌🏴
Fab video! We love chance! Look forward to your next video! Merry Christmas ❤

How long is too long? How long is too long a too long a piece-of-too-a-shang-a-lang-a-long -a-piece-of- string?
