Best part of mountain biking is discovering new trails, and second breakfast 🥞 😜 Thanks for sharing these. Culloden and Balloch are my locals. I still get lost in Balloch woods lol 😂😂😂
It's changed a lot since i used to ride there 10 years ago. The second trail on this vid was the original DH trail and it didn't come through the heather at the top. It started at the treeline. At 10m 30secs it used to go left instead of straight on. I got lost a couple of times the other week lol. It was never a busy place which is why i liked it, and you used to be able to park right at the gate on the fire road near the white house. Broke my hand and collarbone on two separate occasions there, ahh the memories!🤣👍
The big jump looked good. Well done for going back up. Every time I'm up there I'm looking for that mast and I think I know what one it is lol. Cool trails 👍👊
Glad to see the trails are still there. I met two FLS workers up there a couple of years ago who told me they were going to be felling and removing all the trails. FLS highland doing everything they can to put bikers off.
Jealous to see you got a good ride in there. Tried it about a year ago and must have been a week after they have been in deforesting and only the bottom sections were doable. Good to see it back tho and the coast is clear!
Yea although it's not in this video I did try and ride another lower trail but it was absolutely pointless, trees down everywhere and a stick got caught in my spokes and ripped my brake hosing out from the rear caliper🤦♂️
looks good i am thinking about heading there for the first time this week but was going to join the facebook group and u have to pay not sure if this is just for getting to the group or they want me to pay to be riding on the trails
Yea you ain't the only person to tell me that since this video went up. Hopefully it's just a rumour. Last time I rode at Balloch was back in January so I'll have to go back for a look soon 👍
Just depends mate, my rule is if they're on trail forks then it shouldn't be an issue as having them on trail forks is far worse for bringing in traffic. Failing that I'll ask the builders if its OK. Still get shit for it now and again from anonymous comments tho. 🔔🔚's 🤣🤣
Love it there, last time I was up they never started from the mast, that's a nice improvement 👌
The main DH line is class 👌 the big jump in the middle of it is good fun 😀

Balloch is decent really like it in there. Jumps everywhere 😂

Good stuff 👏 I've broke a few bones as well in my short time as a bike rider 🤣 comes with the territory

Cheers stevie. I really liked the jump think that one was my favourite trail out of the three 👍🍻
Used to work in the area and this was my nearest spot. Only ridden there in the snow, so missed a few trails. Will have to return one day!
The DH trail was my favourite there. Definitely worth giving another go 👌
Good to see these are still there. Word was that they'd been destroyed so I haven't ventured near for a while 👍
Never heard that rumour but they were fine when I filmed this 3 weeks ago anyway
Picking up the pace there dude!
Trails look pretty good, all good trails tend to start at a mast 😉
They do indeed mate 👍 cheers 🤙
Keep up the content man.. good shit 💪
Cheers buddy 👍 😃
Nice. You were really hitting it with speed their Neil. Top entertainment as always. On my 2nd watch. Love it. Stoozer. 🤠
Great video and riding as usual Neil!
Cheers Derek 👍 😃

A few people have mentioned this actually. Hopefully FLS will be leaving them alone

No idea mate if that's true then I had no idea. I wouldn't think so tho🤷♂️
Nice, I’d heard these had been demolished by storm/forestry. You been balloch recently? Lots of work been done there.
Yea you ain't the only person to tell me that since this video went up. Hopefully it's just a rumour. Last time I rode at Balloch was back in January so I'll have to go back for a look soon 👍
@@invertrialsbiker9391 nah I heard this months n months ago so all good I reckon
I'm doing same I'm not mentioning any locations from now on unless told otherwise

Out of interest what are your favourite local trails? Mine have to be Contin...so much choice for my level...
Within an hours drive would have to be dallas for me, love it there. Within 30mins probably the mast or my own trails at moniack
Not going to tell anyone where these secret trails are but thought I’d plaster it on to youtube and show you where they start etc...
What.. on top of a hill? Aye that’s some clue given the game away there!
Can't tell if this is a serious comment or not to be honest 🤔 maybe Sherlock and Watson could figure it out aye 🤦♂️
