It's wild how IMDB lists Anthony as appearing in all 98 episodes, but I distinctly remember not seeing Travis for at least three episodes straight at at least one point. I can't seem to figure out which episode, but I seem to remember that there was a point where everyone thought Archer was dead so there was a kind of retrospective where all the crew (except Travis) said something really nice about their recently dead CO.
TOTALLY AGREE!!! HOSHI, TOO! It feels like they never bothered to talk to Anthony. The guy is top notch. So much they could have done with Travis just based on Anthony and his ideas. They again, they had LeVar Burton for seven seasons and never gave Geordi a decent social life. Data had a better social life than Geordi. SMH......
Since Travis was from a freighter background where they spent many months in space because they were doing warp 1 it would have been great to see more of his past etc.

Travis Mayweather was one of my favorite characters on Enterprise, and it's a thrill to see & hear Anthony now. Some might say Travis was under utilized or some such, but Anthony filled the character with plenty of substance - as if to make up for any alleged deficit. Thank you, Anthony!
I have met all of your guys at conventions over the years but Anthony Montgomery came to a little con in Colorado Springs (With Nicole DeBoer) where we could just talk and it was great to meet the actor, which in some ways was like his character being bright eyed, positive and outgoing. I always told Anthony there and in Vegas that I thought his "Space Boomer" character was the least utilized in the show. I understand Enterprise was able to go further right out of the gate than he ever traveled but it would have been nice if they used him more as a subject matter expert, especially in the beginning.
Wow! Anthony was high energy, high fun, high honesty and high enthusiasm! Here's clearly very creative and excited about working with his fellow peers and collaborators as well as his transparent love for his Enterprise coworkers Connor and Dominick. What great podcast - the first one I honestly listened to twice in one sitting. Thank you Anthony, Connor and Dominick. Bravo!

My goodness, he looks no older! Secret please. All three of you together - brilliant. In fact all of you look pretty well preserved. I liked the character of Travis … a few ‘star’ episodes but I think in the others we’d all know if Travis wasn’t there, and the Enterprise may have taken a few wrong turns. I feel the enterprise series can be resurrected, in the last episode the ship was being brought in for retirement….right? It could be spun off as it was retired because of damages from the war and the crew had to wait for a new ship which could/would explain the age differences in the cast. Also, no real proof Trip died😉😉😉 super trooper 2 was a fan funded movie, just throwing that out here….
The stories that got planned but never got filmed for season 5 and beyond could easily be made into playable stories for star trek online. The mirror universe stuff is a pretty big thing in star trek online, so going back to the mirror universe as planned could also be put into playable form on star trek online.
One of my favorite episodes is "the observer effect." It seems to me that it was written and directed to have a original series feel to it. I think this is no coincidence since the Organians were referred to in the original series as well.The episode seemed Almost as though it was written by Gene Roddenberry or Joseph Stefano. It should have been a plum part for Anthony I just hope it was a script that made him happy.

Another fine episode, gentlemen! I thought the ENTERPRISE cast found their characters as soon, or sooner, than any other ST cast since TOS. Also, some 'learn as you go' demeanor among the crew was expected by the audience since this was Earth's first starship and the novice crew we watched was believably learning on the job. Anthony, don't worry about the 'size' of your bug reaction; people react to creepy crawlers with a wide variety of responses depending on the type of bug, the size of bug, or their past history with and phobias of bugs. Remember too that our hero Indiana Jones is petrified of snakes... 🙂 Audiences often LOVE the differences among characters and their individual quirks and hangups too. I'm a musician and the problem Anthony encountered with Paramount's legal department would, at the root, have been over copyright protection of their intellectual property. Bill Mumy had a similar experience when he wrote his own post-series LOST IN SPACE 'final episode,' got the rest of the cast interested and agreeable, but then the project was stopped cold by Irwin Allen, who forbade it when Bill eventually pitched it to him. The show was not Bill's property to not have asked Irwin first,, although Bill had every good intention and had already put in much labor, and of course as an actor had been pivotal in the show's success. But Bill unknowingly stepped out of bounds without realizing it. Copyright protection is about property/money protection and control, and studios guard their property vociferously as part of their survival and financial self-preservation. This is the type of thing I like to hear. Someone who is so comfortable with his ability and the place he has created for himself that he no longer feels it necessary to say yes to everything that comes along. That takes a long time for most of us to achieve. its so good to hear this point of view from seasoned actor like Anthony (my eldest sons name by the way, no connection). Highly energetic episode, lots of energy and passion and a really nice hour spent, great music too.
I am from southern Indiana, a town called Washington. I have been to Indy and there are areas where it is very rough. Today it is getting rougher because they have a mayor who won't put criminals in jail.
Another great episode, it was worth the wait. Fascinating to learn more about the man who breathed life into Travis Mayweather. Truly a man of many talents.

Anthony was a fantastic guest, I had no idea he had so much varied acting experience under his belt, it was quite a treat to learn about it all. He seems such like a confident and optimistic soul - much like Travis in that respect. Incredibly multi talented as well, wow! He knows what he's about, what his goals are and he just goes for it, it's almost infectious in a way to see someone so driven. I loved hearing about his Enterprise casting experience too, I can only imagine what that must of been like to have been chosen quickly compared to previous roles. I believe in alternate realities, so every time it gets brought up I think: there are countless realities where Enterprise had Seasons 5+, but there are countless timelines where Enterprise would have never happened even to 4 Seasons, or ones where even Trek wouldn't exist! I say let us be grateful for what we had, and bless Star Trek.

I wanted more of all the characters on Enterprise, but Travis was the one I always felt there was so much more to explore and learn about him.
Of all the Star Trek shows that Paramount is doing, they could at least give one more season of Enterprise

I did not realize Enterprise was Originally signed for 7 years plus movies. That is news to me.
That was a pretty standard contract for all of that era of Trek.

Dom, Connor, Erica and Mark: congrats another wonderful episode! Anthony was a fantastic guest, I had no idea he had so much varied acting experience under his belt, it was quite a treat to learn about it all. He seems such like a confident and optimistic soul - much like Travis in that respect. Incredibly multi talented as well, wow! He knows what he's about, what his goals are and he just goes for it, it's almost infectious in a way to see someone so driven. I loved hearing about his Enterprise casting experience too, I can only imagine what that must of been like to have been chosen quickly compared to previous roles. As there is not much happening visually on this podcast, I will give a thumbs up and catch the rest on audio.
I believe in alternate realities, so every time it gets brought up I think: there are countless realities where Enterprise had Seasons 5+, but there are countless timelines where Enterprise would have never happened even to 4 Seasons, or ones where even Trek wouldn't exist! I say let us be grateful for what we had, and bless Star Trek.
