Could Anarchism survive in some form? Would the Soviets just take the Ukraine back? Could World War Two change in some way?

This Robert Owen sounds like quite the character.
The failures of one of his experimental communities lead Josiah Warren, hailed as the first American anarchist, to found the philosophy of Individualist Anarchism. He faulted the lack of individuality in Owen’s commune as the reason for failure. He went on to create his own experimental communities based on his social and economic philosophy of equitable commerce. They were quite successful. Warren’s social schematic or system strikes remarkably similar to Pierre J Proudhon’s, the father of anarchism, Mutualism. This gave Warren a notable place in the history of anarchism and was revered by anarchist philosophers following him such as Benjamin Tucker. Warren critically analyzed Owen’s communistic system and formed his own theory of libertarian socialism parallel from Proudhon in France
I’m honestly interested in hearing a part 2 to this alternate history. It’s something that I really wouldn’t expect as it feels rather obscure. And how you painted the actual history of this time made me very interested.

I doupt that the Anarchists would, under any circumstances, join with the fascists. Perhaps a civil war inside Ukraine between ultranationalists and anarchists may occur.

@@Soul-TiTanium Well Anarchy in the sense of ideology, is the abolishment of the state, and a very heavy limitation and decentralization on goverment control, with the people themself as being the one that keep law and order in their own town/territory. There many sub-ideologies about anarchy, but this the most basic definition about it.

If Ukraine became anarchist, Holodomor wouldn't happen, but a similar famine will happen, if not an outright violent turn on the region and its people (as seen in Catalonia).

I think it was Tukhachevsky's coup that worked, he could have saved the Soviet Union by putting all the power in the generals and giving the ministries to competent people and killing anyone who is not competent and creating a council of the best generals to lead the parents as leader until the war ended with the members of the council being probably Zhukov, Vorochilov, Rokossovsky, Konev, Chuikov and Bragranmyan and after the war he or some of the generals would probably be elected as Leader of the Soviet Union
This is why he was purged, every Bolshevik feared a repeat of the French Revolution and its fall.
Tukhachevsky may get a greater spotlight in the future

"Махновщина" is a real term and works in the east slavic languages.
There are words in russian like, I dunno "община" "боярщина" etc

super interesting scenario, I have never seen an alternate history about Ukraine. So much world history would change
This sounds like a better version of united states in europe, but each territory or states with more ideological freedom.
Anarchism is both underrated and overrated
So I really looked into it and I still don't fully understand why Ukraine would have invaded all of Bessarabia. Considering that Ukraine in this alternate timeline was majority-controlled by nationalist parties I see no reason they would need to incorporate Romanian-majority lands save for small border territory. Perhaps it was simply for the sake of incorporating more territory into the Union. Still, even then it wouldn't have made sense for Ukraine to include so many Romanians, especially when there is a pre-existing Romanian state. I'm not trying to criticize the video, I am just exceedingly curious about the extended logic behind this decision by Ukraine in this alternate timeline. Overall this was an incredible video! It's awesome to learn more about what an independent Ukraine could have looked like if a few things were altered.

Critiques : i don't think the the anarchist and syndicalists would approve of Germans going through the land. it would cause instiabiliy to the union.
One a month i always think about how the Maknovschina would take over all of the Soviet union (with my help as a time traveler lol). My scenario would be Makno would conquer all of Ukraine make peace with the Poland and wait for the whites to push north ( i think it was the pyotr wrangel push ?) Makno would do a 2 pronged attack on the reds and whites. Guerrilla tactics against the whites like in the original timeline and push to Moscow for the red front. The whites push would fail and the Makno capture Moscow. I would explain more but, this comment is to long lol.

Honestly germany would probably beat the USSR in this timeline, the odds are all stacked against them

I think they might have destroyed the soviets in time for a less terrible civil war. The Caucasus could unite under a perhaps Nationalistic but supported by Ukraine semi democratic state, unlike what would happen if the Islamic revolution gad already happend.

Sorry but this is not realistic for history. The anarchists were not nationalists and did not fight for a free and independent Ukraine. They fought for autonomy and federations of free communes. In no history would they have allied with nationalists. I think it more possible they allied with the Socialist Revolutionary party remnants or those “green army” factions. Always in tension with the Soviets perhaps agitating for anarchist revolution within the Soviet Union supporting rebellions and uprisings like Kronstadt. Though I enjoy your videos and am a subscriber.
