Struggled all day trying to get the coupler on my fk8 and still taken apart but hopefully this gives me a better idea. Everything is fine it’s just the coupler seems a bit tight to try and fit on. We try again tomorrow, thanks guys!🙌🏻

How much did all the work cost?
@@kyleegerton1547 That hose is £26 plus 1 hours labour. I had lots of other maintenance items fitted and a service, MOT etc. So it was quite a lot. Still these guys are the experts on Type R’s, so it’s definitely worth them taking care of your car for you!

I got my hose on yesterday what a tight fit hahaha!
For me I lined it up as straight as possible and used a twisting motion, that plus a bit of lube and got her on there :-)
Also did my acuity shifter bushings while I was in there 🙂
The reinforcement in them does make them a tight fit, but at least you know you'll never have to do it again! 😅 And great work getting those Acuity Shifter Bushings in too, saved yourself heaps of time there! 💪

It depends where you are in the world! They were only released into Europe and Asia.
Would you class an fk2 as a decent family car?

Modded or standard
Definitely wife and two young kids! Works for me as my daily 👌🏻
It’s my only car with wife and 2 kids. Everyone tells me it isn’t a family car. I think it’s perfect as a family car apart from it being a really hard ride.
Decent family car, but mines is second car on the family so not the default choice
I do school runs in it daily
Slightly firm ride for the mrs so Will put 18s on there eventually to soften it up
Great on fuel when chilling
Right up there with the big boys
Corners like a beast
