Those Rays are wild! It always amazing me how hard they fight, strong fish! What pound line were you fighting that on? The little one made me nervous I could tell he was going all defensive mode on you trying to whack around with his stinger?! Beautiful are as always my friend and some gorgeous colored water! Thank you for the video my friend and I hope you’re doing well!!!!
I have 30 pound braid on that rod and was shocked it held, but it did eventually break towards the end when another hit it hard. I get nervous too with them LOL not as quick as I used to be! Thanks so much for watching and have a great weekend!
@ I would be too! I had a copperhead eat my bait and regrettable cut my line! Not trying to deal with a hospital trip! I’ve seen videos of those rays striking and it’s amazing how quick they are
Mr. Pelican is on watch as usual! 😂 That ray is time-consuming. It's a long and fun fight, but it's not necessarily what you're looking for. That's amazing how you didn't snap the line! You have no choice to cut on hat second one. I'm sure the hook will come out or disintegrate with time. Cool little guy! Nice outing Larry!! It was a beautiful, sunny morning.
Good evening, Larry. Another great video mate, thank you. That Ray was a good fighter, lol. I must admit I’ve caught a few in my time and some absolute huge ones at that. Cheers mate, Wayne.
The “caravan Park” directly opposite where you are fishing (can just see the cabins in the distance) is where the Bride and I stayed when we came up in October this year. It was where I was fishing off the beach and caught that big Port Jackson, Salmon, Trevally and Flathead. No doubt about it Larry, you certainly show your subscribers so many different locations. Thanks for sharing and Tight Lines mate.
I actually went over there first and asked if I could fish, was told no, just too busy, but he did tell me I was welcome to try that beach in the slower season, so maybe a new spot to try in the spring.
Ya gunna be known as the ……RAY man !!!! Lolol😂
😂😂
LOL

More Rays than fish LOL Cheers!
Very good fishing Larry 👍
Thanks, it was a beautiful morning and the fishing was ok!
Perfect, got the little trev then the rod needed to be re baited, and the ray came off by itself. Gotta love that
They Ray coming off the hook was a shock, thought for sure I was losing my rig with that one.
That looks like a beautiful spot Larry.
Nice one mate 👍
Thanks, usually do well there, but the Rays invaded on this morning

Always a good battle no matter the size, but man I've used a lot of tackle hooking up on them. Thanks as always for watching and have a good day!

Well, that sounds like a plan….maybe be able to get up that way again and fish with you.
@@Mark-ew5jm That would be great!
Larry you were on the Aliens in this one! That was a cool Ray day
Yeah, it sure seemed like it, very strange morning of fishing.
You ever tried the river off quarantine bay just a little further around away from town? I remember thats a spot we would camp.
Nulica River is the spot I think you're talking about and I have a few vids from there.
I don't think that ray got out of first gear larry
Probably a good thing :)
