- Welp I fixed it and broke it. Now I have to rip apart the car once again for multiple reasons that I honestly couldn't believe..

The o ring likely was stuck in there when you pulled out the other one and possibly fell onto the block unnoticed and when you drove it flew off. Or when you put he other one in it shoved it into the block.
If you pause this video at 22:13, you can see the rubber o-ring/grommet fall to the left of the crank sensor hole

Back in the day when I started first working on E36 I made exact same mistake... It's so silly to me that new sensors don't come with o rings already installed on them 🤦

For a coyote mustang you have to have about 4 ft of extension with a swivel

Every extension plus wobble lol. Oh also drop the subframe a couple inches too. Such a fun job

Got any tips for a first time e36 owner troubleshooting overheating issues after rebuilding the top end?
Mine is leaking from the 2 bolts on the bottom I used same rtv but the little black seal on the bottom of the rear main where the bolts go through is missing. I used rtv and it leaks on my clutch which you know isn’t good. Does anyone know what that is called
My 35d x5 has a small leak apparently on the rear main seal, is there anything I should check before I drop 1k to replace it?

Would UV dye have helped find that leak? I’ve heard good things about those dye kits.

get a nice stiff shifter so you won't have to mess with the B clip anymore. I have the "Cliq Tuning" shifter and it's amazing.
I have one in my drift car and I actually prefer a regular short shifter. Both can be fun but this one is more comfortable to me

It's custom made. The fog holes and brake ducts are shaved closed

I am having a massive problem I have an na m50 e36 but I keep blowing my head gasket even though I torque it to turbo specs to be 100% sure it won't blow
75 or 85ftlb?
Are you using aftermarket head bolts or stock ones? Stock ones are not reusable. They stretch under torque to stay planted
