I live in a western country. My landlord is a very nice Portugese man 60 years of age now. He married very early to his childhood sweetheart around 20 years of tender age. But she got caughted cheating on him. From there, he had downward spiral and had just had high amount of flings and one night stand with a lot of women. Even when he had some healthy relationship, he did not wanted to commit it towards marriage. Now, he is living alone with nooone as a partner. He do try looking for 'younger' women as partner but all are just there for his money. I see him drinking and smoking each day and depression in his life is very real.
And this I had observe is majority of the issues in these western countries.
Even developed traditional asian countries like Japan having massive problems as people have stopped having relationships and are depressed.
So in a nutshell, while there are some good things we can imitate from western countries, there are a lot of baggage which comes with it which we need to straight away discard like promiscuity.

Very good topic and good message for ppl to be aware. I live in Europe and i see lots of ppl changing partners very quickly. You can say you are lucky if you are in relationship for more than 2yrs. Sleeping with lots of different ppl will damage you because in the end you are good for one thing only and that is having sex. If you need emotional support nobody will be there for you. It makes you feel empty inside. And you will not notice that when you are young because there are always ppl around you. but when you get older that’s when you start realizing it that your parents are gone and your friends/siblings have their own families and you start feeling lonely.
