Doubt that Tsitsipas was aiming for his face. Idk when tennis players and fans became such crybabies about a shot to the body at the net - it's allowed, doubles players get pegged all the time and don't cry about it. Nadal gets hit in the body and he laughs or just turns around, next point - Rafa doesn't even look to see if he got an apology. Federer gets pegged by Tiafoe in his retirement match and he laughed. These days, it becomes a saga on social media. Snowflakes.

it's also clear that Nadal's intention was not to hurt him, that was not a fast backhand by any means, when you watch Kyrgios hit to the body you'll see how it's like when they try to hurt.
I think Novak was more upset about how the match was going that the actual shot, he knows that's fair game.
