Media has really warped our worldview on different personalities. If you move through different social circles, you'll never feel like the same person in every one. You may feel like a Serena around some, and a Blair in others.
Other two characters who would fit in but in different ways is Alex Russo and Justin Russo, because no matter how hard Justin worked, Alex always knew how to do the things he does effortlessly. In the movie Justin even admit that he studies hard because he is trying to be as good as her
Same. I was breezing through life and then Med school happenned and i got humbled. Now I am a surgeon and literally everyday I get even more humbled by the Blairs around me 😭
I'm a Serena but I rather be and want to be a Blair. Blair but more relaxed cuz unlike Serena, Blair had growth throughout the series and actually gets what she wants after all the effort and hardwork she puts in. Whilst Serena and Dan's wedding at the end felt rushed and seemed like they just settled for each other. That's just my opinion though💜💜💜
i feel like im a mix of blair or serena, or none at all. im a serena by personality, but i tend to be blair in my motivations and thought processes. but the thing is they are both extroverts, and im one hell of an introvert 😂🤭
@@LadyVenVen after a recent rewatch of gossip girl i can understand why so many people hated serena ; i did find her extremely irritable in the last seasons, there were many occasions where she was sneaky, selfish and manipulative for no reason. but with blair idk, (once again after a rewatch i do understand her character a bit more than i did 5 years ago) but the elitist, condescending and self centered bully that she was in the first seasons really made it hard for me to like her as a "person" bc i did feel like these flaws were a big part of her ; and in the end, even though there is a clear character development (compared to serena), i think both pretty much end up at the same level but with different flaws ig ? (idk if that makes sense)
as for serena never taking responsibility, i do see it in the latest seasons but there have been moments where she too responsibility and admitted her wrongdoings and also, i do believe that (in the early seasons once again) she mostly had good intentions. however with blair, even though she might be more "transparent" with her wrongdoings and schemes, and might not be hypocritical (and that's debatable tbh), her intentions are (mostly) clearly bad and that's where i have a problem with her :/ (sorry my answer was super long for no reason)
Sorry absolutely not Rory is a failure to society and Serena, she fails, but she always tries. She’s always trying to work hard for what she wants in life and that’s why she still on top at the end of the show where Rory ends up with no one and as the failure to society yikes I am so glad I’m not Rory, I always wanted to be Serena

That’s totally true
yesss
definitely agree with this! sometimes i act like a blair with other friends, sometimes i act like a serena with other friends
most people are Blair's, the Serena's are a rarity
I feel like I'm a mix of the two tbh 😭😭
Same, but I can be more like Blair on some days.

How does this video not have a million views?? The way you put togethet your analysis was exactly what I was looking for
my serena-ness ran out and now im struggling to have even a pinky's worth of blair's work ethic 😭
Same. I was breezing through life and then Med school happenned and i got humbled. Now I am a surgeon and literally everyday I get even more humbled by the Blairs around me 😭
perfect video !! the comparisons are on POINT !
You’re back and I’m here for it girl.

i think i'm a bit of both, but as for the characters i prefer serena as a person compared to blair (that girl irritates me)
And for me I hated Serena and that she never took responsibility for anything!!! I can’t watch her scenes because I can’t stand people like her 😅
You clearly haven’t watched it to the end
@@mytearsrichoslay how so ??

Proud Serena right here 👸🏼✨☺️
Am a Blair wishing I could be Serena. Being a Blair sucks.
