I called Morimoto sales. Travis claimed to be the most senior person in the entire company. He could not guarantee the 4 year old issue with their gen 1 headlights and running lights not working had been fixed, even though the fellow in the video said they had. I'm on the fence. Has anyone bought the gen 2 headlights and can verify they are working on c7 corvette?

We’ve been fully aware of the issues with the Gen 1 headlights on the C7 Corvette, and that’s exactly why we invested time and effort into developing the Gen 2 version. Our R&D and marketing teams have extensively tested the new Gen 2 headlights on multiple C7s, and we haven’t encountered the same issues that were present in the first generation. In fact, it’s that commitment to improvement that motivated us to create this updated version and discuss it openly in the video. We’re confident that the Gen 2 headlights will give you the reliability you're looking for, but feel free to ask around the community as well - our customers’ feedback is important! Absolutly love the new tech implemented into these! But so sad they are C8 style, they take away from the identity of the C7 :( Really wish they were in the OEM style but with all that new tech, same for the tails.
