The quality of the video feed on this quadcopter is awesome and flying it FPV from your phone is easier than most other budget quadcopters. I really didn’t think it would be able to hold its altitude because of its low price and small size. All around I’m really impressed with the quality and performance of the Cheerson CX-10WD!
The transmitter is better than any other nano quadcopter I’ve seen. The sides extend out to create a more comfortable grip and the sticks have a nice feel when flying. In the middle of the transmitter, there’s a protective housing for the quadcopter for easy storage and transport. It is 2.4ghz so you can fly outside with no problem as long as there’s no wind. The range is advertised at 25meters and I would have to say that’s pretty accurate.
Battery life is 4-5 minutes and after 4 minutes you’ll want to keep it close because the FPV signal will start to fade pretty quickly. Unfortunately, there’s no option to replace the battery.
You will break and lose blades but fortunately, spare blades are cheap and I included a link to extra parts for less than $10.
Flying FPV with the Cheerson CX-10WD is easy thanks to “Altitude Hold”.

New to rc flying. This may be a dumb question but can you fly 2 within close quarters without interfering with either signal to the quadcopter? These look like a lot of fun but not sure if my son and I can fly close to each other without the signal disruption.
Yes you can fly multiple quads at the same time. The CX-10WD will "bind" with the transmitter and that will be a unique signature that controls just the one quad. That's the beauty of 2.4ghz, it has a wide range of different signals that can be assigned to multiple planes/drones/ cars and so on.
Late reply, but I fly them with my two daughters and all three coexist happily together.
If you don't mind sacrificing a little video quality, a wide angle lense makes FPV less like driving while wearing binoculars and flying through doors is much easier.
a VR headset and the app in stereoscopic mode make for cheap FPV goggles...
May I know if the protective cover for cx 10 works with the cx 10wd
Sorry I wish I had an answer for you. Some people say it does some say it doesn't. I think it would fit but would sit too low to protect the blades. I'm sure you could modify it with a little tinkering.
