10 Amazing & useful angle grinder finger amputees
Notice how he's only hand tightening the blades.....
U did not see he use tightening tool when the video is cut
The green buffing wheel works even on a small bench grinder. They wear out quick but nice shine on stainless steel. Mirror finish.
Angle grinders are extremely powerful and dangerous. I don’t recommend using any of the cutting (saw) type wheels. A reciprocating saw (Sawzall) or even a good jigsaw with the proper blade is usually a safer alternative. It’s true that a lot of jobs are best accomplished with an angle grinder, but learn the safest way before attempting and Always wear a face shield AND safety glasses. If the disk shatters, the shrapnel flies off at close to 200 mph and will really injure you seriously. Be safe and learn how from someone with experience.
-also- ALWAYS make sure your face/body are not in the plane of rotation - that way if something flys off it has much less chance of hitting you. Same with a Dremel.
UA-cam some grinder injuries. It's the most dangerous tool you can own.
Treat it like a pet cobra that is already pissed at you.
They're awesome, but safety is paramount. 13,800 RPMs... so 200 milliseconds of skin contact = 2760 revolutions of the disc diameter through your flesh =
Pink Mist.
Restin pieces
Most of these are NOT designed for that many rpms. Please people, don't put a saw blade on an angle grinder. That's unbelievably dangerous.
Agreed 👍🏼
Just because you can doesn't mean it's a good idea....in fact it's positively a bad idea, that's why this rubbish is confined to UA-cam, and not on the makita website....
Good remark
He is Indian, making it dangerously is practically a requirement in India. You can see he is barefoot in the first 60 seconds of the clip. I guess in India you go barefoot when using power tools, when doing heavy duty machining, flip flops are required.
If you want to lose some fingers, it will get the job done!
Hi, thank you NK, another great informative and interesting video.
Take care and be safe
Sam
Thanks for posting/making this video. I had no idea there were so many attachments/blades for a grinder. I just bought one and a few blades but I will try some of these others. Thank you! Be well. 😉😉😁😁😀😀😊😊

Thanks for the tips , because I'm starting a tile job tomorrow. It's a small bathroom floor and I'm just using my grinder
This guy don't know how to use hid grinder safely, please watch some vids on grinder safety after watching this
I want the mirror polishing pad and the multi-cutter would come in handy. The rest I always assumed the standard cutoff wheels would do all that cutting. Well, you live, watch UA-cam, and learn! Thank You!
The polishing pads should only be used at low speeds. Hi speeds cause excessive heat and makes the pad break down much faster.
those lamb wool pad makes for angle grinder can withstand a high speed, i often used it.. thus using a chromium polishing bar compound need heat for it to work better..
And they smell like burnt hair 😅
Never ever hold an angle grinder in one hand and your workpiece in the other - especially when using a suicide sawblade. Yes, that’s what they’re called, for good reason. Also, that chainsaw disc is dangerous even if used correctly - watch the stumpynubs video where he nearly lost his hand if you dont believe me.
Please please understand the dangers of angle grinders and use them properly and safely.
He seems to be an indian guy. Not very interested into safety or boring things like that.
Yep, I’ll give that comment a thumb up...... ouch!
he is not even installing correctly
The moment one of those chainsaw disc teeth becomes blunt is the moment it kicks back and reshapes your face!
@@minopausa I find that kinda racist cause i do take precautions when i use powertools. However i see where you are coming from and he really should be more careful.
SOME OF THOSE DISCS ARE EXTREMLY DANGEROUS!!!!!

Watch out when using the woodcutter discs! I put 1 of those through my hand 3 weeks ago and I'm currently recovering from the surgery to repair the tendon and joint damage caused by the bloody thing.
Good luck my friend...

Watch this for amazing video about angle disk
did you use the guard and control handle?
Awesome playlist 😁🤣
The best presentation I have seen , insightful and Thai heaven not verbose
The angle grinder is such a wonderful, versatile tool.
I was not clear whether to buy a polisher or angle grinder but when i saw this video, i'm certain that an Angle Grinder can do many things provided that one must know how to use. Thanks buddy.

Special tools for special usages, but if you could control the cost as well as the safety by your own knowledge, it will be ok!
Good view for labour and literate users
Muito bom amigo, parabéns!
Great demo video,it would had been greater if you added the different disc attachment information so people can order them for their grinder.

You have exposed the most used pages. excellent
Nice disk but please read the instructions. Some are for low speed and other for use in a stand. This vid made me say wtf a few times :-)
For real. Watching him cut unsecured PVC with a bladed attachment gave me some severe anxiety
Exactly what I was thinking. Not to mention the fact that some of those were surface cutters made to be used flat.
The guy has no clue about construction work and tools.
So true! Diamond blades are meant to be used with water too!
Excelente !!!!
Excelente demostración de cómo se usan distintos discos: that is very good
Good very interesting and nice even though we are far apart but we can still greet each other thank you my brother👍👍👍🙏🙏👌👌👌
Very useful information. Thank u!.
Wow amazing good videos tutorial next 👍👏😎
Please make sure that you use an angle grinder with adjustable speed. Some of these tools need lower rotation velocity to avoid overheating, what results in less durability, or might even burst of the tool itself ! ! !
I agree. Also you have not keep wrist too rigid so if it kicks you can still hold onto it.
Wow, wonderful.

Nice attachments👍
Glad you like them!
W
I must get a few of these.
Awesome Explanation, Thanks 👍
The chain (#8) and teeth (#5) discs for grinder are extremely dangerous if handled manually (sometimes deadly), the best way to use those discs is by putting the grinder in a firm stand, like the miter saws.
They are commonly known as "widow makers" and should be banned. There are thousands of better ways to do things done with this crap.
Entèrent agree. This a chainsaw type of cut it out the chainsaw safety as it can change angle of attack very fast thus going asked and getting ripped out of the hands from the worker and slicing his hand doing a but her’s mess.
Must never brisée by anybody whatsoever.
That's one of the most dangerous things I've ever seen (and number 5). I can't believe they even actually sell such blades.
Wow. What a bunch of pussies. All blades are dangerous. It's up to the user to use them as safe as possible. And the chainsaw blade is a good material remover. Just like anything stupid people shouldn't use tools. Why do u think there are so few democrats doing real trade work. 🤔
@@doitrightcmrs3373 you sound like one of those dummies who remove the grinder guard. Just because they state the obvious danger about many of those insane manufactured discs, does not make them pussies. That makes them smart. You, on the other hand...well...smart is not what you sound like.
Thank you for the lessons! God bless you!
🙏🇧🇷👍😃👏👊
This guy is a hack, watch some people use them safely before starting a project. Read the rest of the comments
Number 8 MUST E AVOIDED AT ALL COST !!! I’ve seen several fingers chopped off and one hand severely maimed : the chain saw cutters cut on both sides so you can get a side ah kickback very fast and that falls on your hand no matter how hard you try to keep holding the machine with both hands. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS
NUMBER 5 is a blade which is not designed to be used with an angle grinder but on a smaller table saw. It will not be straight (it clearly shows on the video) and there is no safety to have the tool slip of your hand if the blades gets onto a hard spot or metal (nail embedded in wood...) and if the blade is held asked it will lock and bad things may happen.
As a general rule do not use an angle grinder for a different purpose : there is no safety stop on this tool and it can turn very dangerous very fast if not used properly.
I find this video very misleading.
excellently demonstrated , will buy
Muy bien explicado !!!
MUY BUENO SACA DE LAS DUDAS EL USO DE CADA DISCO BUENISIMO TOTAL

Bad guidance. Lot's of unsafe practices in this vid. Do some safety research, and some of these disks are made to run slower and some are made to run flat. This guy is a hack

Some seriously evil looking discs!
Good demonstration. So many types you had shown. Weldone. It is useful video with full of care and safety work.
Bad safety work. Never hold a grinder in one hand and your work piece in the other use flat stones flat. Never use the side if a cutter to grind. Never move the cutter side to side on edge. Use gloves.
This guy is a hack. Do not do what he does.
Wood carving disc was really badass
Really great video. Thanks you
great video got most of them in my stock they all work well
I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.
Great videos! 👍👍👍😉
Excelente video directo al grano
👍👍👍
It's so good to see you aren't wearing gloves while using your angle grinder, some worksites push people to wear them even though it's very dangerous.
Finally someone that understands.
Why is it dangerous?
@@mattinjask7735 because skin cuts, which is bad, obviously. But a glove (sometimes) catches, and that can cause the grinder to pull into it. This makes the grinder travel around the fabric, cutting through it and anything below it. I've got a scar on two of my fingers from this happening. And whilst I got away very lightly it was an eye opening experience.
@@mattinjask7735 Because if the disc comes in contact with a glove it likely bites in and grabs hold of it, causing worse injuries than without wearing gloves.
Had a glove ripped off on a large drill press.
Thank god it came off.
I really didn’t know about that. Thanks for sharing it
Cool info, thanks :)

I've got a KAT wood carving disc and that's one tool you have to treat with the utmost respect. Chainsaw on a wheel turning 10,000+ RPM's.
It's super dangerous. I know a guy that got seriously injured when it binded in a piece of wood. I would rather not use it at all, IMO.
Nice info thanks a lot for sharing.
For your own sake and for those who care about you, wear a mask while using any of these. Be safe. IMHO
Hyy friend 😊😊🙏🤝
Woowww... Supper... Thanks... Nice video... ❤️😁👍🤝🙏
Debes usar guantes siempre!!!!!
Your demo very useful to me sir. thank you very much.

Never EVER use the one with the chain saw teeth on it.... That thing is scary dangerous for even an experienced wood worker. The shaper style ones are much easier and safer to handle.
