This was so entertaining, Pat! Alex is a natural, though we need to teach her the joys of spitting - lol! As a winery owner I agree that it's easier to start a winery when you have a lot of money! But good to hear that these ladies (I just realized all the wines were female owned in this video) are making efforts toward quality and hopefully expanding the reach of wine (over spirits and beer) for young people!!

I enjoyed watching the video about unique subject today. Especially curious about Avaline wine. I think we should check if it's easy to get in Korea. Celebs' wine… it's not easy to access, so as Patrick said, I think I've been working hard on at least one or two generations of winery wine.
Have never tasted "celebrity" wine- perhaps I should try one too lol. I like the captions that highlight your expressions- this helps a lot. p.s. Having the whole table covered in white seems smarter than putting a piece of white paper underneath (as I usually do) ;)
According to the homepage, Avaline White is a combination of Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Malvasia. Very interering review of celebrity white wines. Cheers from Korea. I'd love to try Avaline but it's not imported here.
Thanks for the compliment. No, the wine is from Penedes, Spain. Two of the grapes, xarello and macabeo are classic Spanish grapes usually found in sparkling CAVA. Malvasia, the third grape, is more of a pan-Mediterranean variety. I don’t remember having tasted such a combination before in a still wine.
