I know everyone seems to love these guys, but Ant constantly calls Nick a " Twink" and assumes that only Men who look & act " Butch" or traditionally Masculine Gay Men are the "Top " and every effeminate thin Gay is a Bottom. Also if he plans on being with Nick for a long time peoples bodies change a lot. They also speak about their lack of sexual experiences with others and then getting Married sounds a lot like Straight couples from the 1950's and before and I 'm not sure how many of them were happy over their whole lives . I don't mean that a person has to have a lot of multiple sex partners but I don't know a lot of Straight couples who Married very young and haven't gotten divorced ? And I am reading stats on Straight couples. The Divorce rates have been around 50% for decades, although the older couple seem to have a good relationship but ,I have not heard them say that they were their 2nd sexual partners when they got together ,but Maybe they were ? Aside from the " Twink" comments I don't want to put them down or just say nasty comments about them !

@andrerenaud8785 I see genuine love and respect between the two of them. When Ant calls Nick a "twink", I think it is in an endearing way, rather than confining him to that box. I think it is clear that he loves Nick for who he is, and not only for his body type. He is also young and admitted himself that he lacks experience, so he may not always use the perfect terminologies, but I think them doing this podcast alone is enough evidence that they are on a growth trajectory together. Also, the divorce rate for male/male couples is less than 1/3 of that of hetero couples, so I don't think that's an appropriate comparison. Ultimately, it's their lives and their own journey and if they are both happy, loved, and respected then it shouldn't matter what their marital status or lack of experience is. It is just refreshing to see any couple these days who genuinely love and care for eachother and I think that aspect is something that we can all aspire to! ❤️

Thanks so much for teaming up the "new gays" with the "old gays." It's the first time I've ever seen something like this. Whether you know it or not, you guys are helping so many people, especially by sharing your personal stories. Nick and Ant, through your many videos you've shown how gay people can attain loving and committed relationships. An interesting podcast might be about what gay life was like back in the day (especially in regard to discrimination) and what it's like now. Again, thanks!

I never really watch podcasts but this one is just a breath of fresh air! Thank you for sharing your stories - they are emotionally heavy, but at the same time, very important to talk about and break the silence. I assume there are millions of people struggling with such kind of problems, so it's nice to see someone who uses their fame for a noble purpose.
One thought from me about ozempic - I used to work in pharmacy where we had a lack of this medicament. So people who were sick of diabetes couldn't get it just because other people, who used it for weight loss, bought it faster. I mean, those people are the ones who are not overweight but they just see themselves as someone whose body is not perfect. However, when you look at them, they are just fine. So that is the good example which was talked by Nick.
Other thing, as someone who lives in a kind of homophobic country, it would be nice to hear your story of being gay. I mean, how did you tell your parents, friends, how did you understand your sexual identity to yourself, did you ever get any hate or something.
Thank you once again. And see you soon!

I love ur podcast so much and it’s helps me. I’ve struggled with an eating disorder. I’m only 13 years old I started the eating disorder at only 9 years old which is crazy to think about. I still sometimes do struggle to eat food but I’ve help with friends along the way. Lately my mom has started eating less and workout way to much to the point where she passed out. My step dad actually took the scale out of the house and threw it away bc my mom would constantly be on the scale weighing herself. 2 weeks ago we were eating dinner at the table and my mom wasn’t eating so I looked at my 2 sisters and gave them the look to not eat. They really didn’t see the signs but obviously I have dealed with the eating disorder so I saw all the possible signs. Anyways back to the story, me and my sisters pushed are food away and said we are not eating until you eat she tried forcing us to eat but I said no. Fast forward a hour I call my moms best friend and tell her that my mom isn’t eating. She comes over and takes her to the room and talks to her. 30 minutes later they come out of the room and my mom is crying. My moms friend texted me saying that she told her a story about all of this. We got my mom In this therapy thing I forgot what it’s called but she’s starting to do a little better.
I remember when I was 10 I was at a birthday and everyone was eating and I was just sitting there looking at every eating. I got so fed up with my self that I ran out of the room to go to the bathroom. When I got to the bathroom I started pinching myself. One of my friends came in and found me throwing up and crying. I told her that I didn’t feel good and that I just wanted to go home. I got home and I was still crying. My mom at the time didn’t know that I had an eating disorder so she just thought that I was sick. A year late I’m still struggling with my ED so my mom takes me to the doctor and my mom finds out that I have an ED, anxiety, and depression. I remember my mom breaking down in tears bc she never saw any of the signs so she felt really disappointed in her self. Another year later I still struggle with anxiety, depression, and a little bit of an eating disorder. It’s hard to believe it bc I was just a girl who didn’t know anything. I’m actually bi but my mom doesn’t know but she can’t really handle me coming out right now with all the stress.
You just gotta take it day by day. Remember that you are important to someone and you will always be loved. Even if you don’t think you’re loved just know that I might be a complete stranger but I love you and you got this! I believe in you! Idc if your straight, gay, bi, lesbian, transgender, etc. you are perfect just the way you are. Happy pride month and Happy mens metal awareness month! Ily 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I don't suffer from an eating disorder but from BDD and I can quite relate. I'm so obsessed with perceived flaws in my appearance that I waste hours on time consuming habits trying to fix or camouflage them also mirrors or cameras are basically my nemesis. If I see myself from an unusual angle it feels like getting shot in the heart and being depressed for days...
But I also do feel like this is in part 'triggered' by the gay communities obsession with appearance. (Sigh)

I remember like 2 - 3 years ago i convinced myself to eat less and literally STARVE, until my mom noticed and got me back on track. It's not as bad as what people unfortunately go through, but it's just etched into the back of my brain even now😿

It is okay to be weight consciecious when it affects your health. I am not talking about obese but rather being a bit overweight. Also, scientist have recently discovered that your hormonal defeciency can lead to weight gains, not a slow down in motabolism as your motabolism doesn't slow down until your late 60s. No, I was never into the muscle thingy but rather I am attracted to more slender guys but I've know plenty of chubby chasers over the years. Diet is the best way to loose weight and the less you eat the more weight you will loose. No need to put a finger down the throat. Walking a lot and eating salads are a great thing.

Love the honesty and vulnerability in these podcasts. Frank, not sure if you came to the specific reason that led to your hospital stay, but consuming all those nuts and seeds probably gave you “lectin” toxicity. The south beach diet is similar to Adkins or Ketovore and in moderation is not unhealthy. The side effects you had sounds like lectins is the cause. Not so much developing a nut allergy, but just too much lectins. Im not a doctor so take it with a grain of salt, but not too much salt, and make sure it has iodine in it.

I'm starting the weight loss version of Ozempic (Wegovy - same thing, different name) in July. I'm very obese and medically need it, but most of the stories I hear abt ppl on Ozempic don't really need to be taking it. It makes zero sense to me - Ozempic is a GLP-1 agonist. It helps with chemical/hormonal imbalances in your brain, helping you to feel full. For me, it'll help stop me from binge eating as much, and will help me get down to a healthy weight. But for someone 10 lbs over their desired weight? Fuck no!

Hi I am 16 and I’ve had body dysmorphia for a while probably about the day I turned 10 last year I was forcing myself to throw up every day if someone caught me then I would tell them it’s because of acid reflex, but after I found out the symptoms I had to quit and I started under eating that didn’t work so I got really stressed so I started over eating and now I just cannot lose the fat at all. I am so scared of my appearance afraid what people think

Such good analysis and content. When training a lot I saw a lot of people who had clearly taken steroids to accelerate muscle growth. They had big bodies but looked terrible. I had a close friend (not a boyfriend) that I really tried to urge, “don’t take that! You might get a bigger body but you have a beautiful face and all these people in the gyms who do this have horrible faces even if a ‘good’ body”
My friend was definitely able to be a model (if he wanted) but with this kind of substance of steroids definitely not…

I am also Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian and have never really done any 'fad diets'. When they were talking about the South Beach diet talking about nuts...i am so lucky i dont have an allergic reaction to nuts (or anything else tbh)...i carry a Camelbak Eddy reuseable bottle always filled with trail mix in my backpack, which is always with me bc i drive a topless Jeep Wrangler and need to keep whatever i need safe from theft. lol.
