BUBBLE. I LOVE YOU LONG TIME. I've been asking Vulcan to do something like this tutorial-wise but it looks like you beat him to the punch. Thanks so much; lookin forward to watching after work!
So I watched it last night; thanks again man. It was helpful even though I've had the game for a couple weeks (I'm still quite shit at it). I think my biggest issue is getting overwhelmed and not knowing what the hell to do. I have the most problems dealing with armor as far as particular units are concerned. Personally I think the biggest help for me would be to take a game and dissect and discuss certain scenarios in it, like how to ideally tackle the beginning/recon phase, options to react when faced with an infantry push, options to react when faced with an armor push, etc. Anyway, I appreciate your help dude!
@@clamum :: i know this is old as hell, i too got overwhelmed, and left the game alone for a while, gave it another try, but learned i can add Ai teammates, on my side, so i made a 4 on 4 match, you know on easy cuz i suck, and boi we won, well it was a better experience. i only cleared one of the campaigns, but the second one not yet, by now ur probably good, im still quite new at it, but least i learned something new that i didn't know, plus asking most UA-camrs is usless most don't answer, but Bubblebox i don't even got to ask cuz he has detailed video tutorials and what i want to hear, so thanks to you Bubblebox.
@@ThisOLmaan Haha that's ok if it's an old comment, I appreciate the reply. I actually haven't played Steel Division in a loooong time. I never got very good at it; I just don't play games much anymore. It does help to play with AI though, you're right about that. I even picked up Steel Division 2 but haven't even played a single game of it. I'm basically a failure. But I think my main problem in Steel Div still remains: I can get overwhelmed and then not know what to do. I think I just need more experience, but again, I'm not much of a gamer anymore.
Thanks for a great tutorial Bubblebox. Easy to follow and learn from. When it finished playing, I checked my Steam download, and SD: N44 had just finished downloading, but I'll watch the second tutorial first before playing. Thanks again. +1
I’m good awful at this game, just got it and honestly sometimes big multiplayer can feel so counter productive because there is just so damn much going on, thanks for guide!
I found this video extremely useful in terms of how to use the game correctly. Just a suggestion would be how to deal with different units. Infantry v. AT gun or Infantry v. armor etc. Thanks again I think that will help a lot of people
Bubblebox :P: woo i like this tutorial, you gave a very good break-down, of things i wanted to know about this game, the C button i didn't really understand it till Now, well my friend you got a new subscriber, and if anyone asks where they can find help i will Link them to you...Wanted to Ask, about the Artillery, on 18:35 of the video, i didn't hear you say you gave it a command to fire? or did it do it on it own?, will you need to always give arty commands, or will they fire automatically if the enemy is in range? just to take note..Thanks
You always need to give them a command then they will fire off a few salvos before you have to give them another command. Thanks for subbing, will be posting some more gameplay soon for sd and a lot for sd2 once it is released.
Very useful, I picked up a lot of 'hidden' stuff, esp. about cover and the 'flashing' icon. I much prefer this game to the other Wargame releases, as there was simply too much to keep an eye on, whereas this was much more manageable.
Great tutorial and really easy to follow. I have just one question though - when you start a game, what determines where you place everything? I've been wanting to get into these type of games and have tried loads of times, but I just never know where to start. I'll get the main mechanics of the game down and understand it, but starting a game and actually knowing what to do is a whole other thing for me. Who knows, maybe I'm just slower than most other people. I'm in the same situation here with men of war. Two games I've become really interested in and now some what know how to play, but I just don't know where to start.
Bubblebox a: i couldn't zoom in 26:41 to watch planes drop bombs, matter fact when i tried to zoom in the airplane in disappears. How can i Zoom in ??? Great Video👍🏼 :

This is a lot more clear than the in-game tutorial. Thanks, mister!
Probably the best basic tutorial I've seen yet . 2 Thumbs up Bubble !

What divisions do you recommend for defensive players? I understand you gotta push to win though.
Thanks for the tutorial.

Fantastic tutorial. So there aren't any medics or engineers that can heal troops or vehicles. Have you heard of anything planned?
