I love all these shades of brown. Brown is a very under utilized colour. Even for non skin tone related projects finding variety of brown shades is so hard to do.
Hey, I agree. Yarn companies seem to go from dark brown to brown to beige. And that’s it. This is good.
Brown is my favourite. My absolute favourite cardigan is a brown that matches how dark my eyes are!
As a doll maker this is very exciting, I have trouble finding skin tone yarns

Jelly of that shirt. Also the nails...I haven't done my nails since the pandemic. I used to do them because I knit or crochet on my commute and it gave me something different to look at.
@@fuzzypumpkin7743 I know what you mean With the nails! I haven’t done mine either - because I hand wash my dishes instead of using the dishwasher. But seeing her beautiful nails and the beautiful yarn inspires me to spruce up my hooking and get a nice program going with my hands.

Totally agree. Use it, buy it or loose it. Love the colors. I knit sweaters and love all the yummy colors. The earthy browns and peaches are really in for making nordic sweaters, cable sweaters and hats and shawls. So many uses and applications for this yarn. I am totally addicted to your yarn reviews.

i tried to make a weebee in a darker skin tone and was pretty surprised at how i couldn’t find anything but oatmeal beige and super dark brown. neat!

It doesn't matter where you get it from, just as long as there is a steady demand for it, then they will keep it around.

I think the colors look amazing in your blanket! I feel a little frustrated with how quickly yarn companies are pulling product recently. It feels like they are creating an artificial pressure to buy it this second. I doubt they need to either with the surge in yarn crafts lately.

Thanks Toni. Great review as always. I hope other brands choose to follow Lion Brand’s lead as well. While I don’t do amigurumi projects, I very much admire those who do in both the crochet and knitting spheres. If and when we get to meet again, I plan to mention this line of yarn to the members of my crochet guild as quite a few people turn out fantastic amigurumi projects. I also like the cowl pattern and the blanket you are designing- both great examples of simple and elegant design using neutrals as a base.
I’m still salty that they got rid of Jeans colors, I just discovered it a few months ago and was really enjoying it :(

I love your videos! Love the way you talk about how the yarn slides (or not) on the hook, your style (love your hair), and your perfect speed of speaking (not too slow), and your friendly outlook. I started crocheting as a young teenager, and then in my late 40s got back into knitting and have been focusing on that for the last 10-12 years. I just subscribed yesterday! I started crocheting again about 2 weeks ago after nearly 30 years! Yes, I am old! LOL I wanted to make some hangers with crochet on them for slippery clothes like my grandmother made... haven't found any videos on the ones she made, but I did find some patterns that are similar. Now I am starting a granny square afghan and I've never made one. Love your videos! Great instruction!
