Hey all! I'm an active modder for the game, and I just want to emphasise how accessible and easy it is to mod for this game - I had absolutely no unity experience, and very very little blender experience, yet the online guides have helped tremendously in getting started - I have made about 20 mods to date, and even a completely original track, which absolutely would not be possible without the amazing tools the team have provided - even if you think you aren't capable of making a mod, I promise you you are if you put even one evening into learning :D
It's great to see that The Karters 2: Turbo Charged is trying to bring back the community creativity from the days of ModNation Racers! Track modding is something that's been missing in karting games. Can't wait to see what players come up with this time!

Modding the game and playing modded stuff has been a blast! The game isn't even out yet, it's "simply" a beta, and we have so much content, so much to do and so many talented people. Can't wait for more!
That's so cool! I always remember Modnation and their funky skins, it was like what Astroboy tried to do but completely free and from the community, and if you had the PS Vita game, the skin library was literally the same. Karters 2 my beloved
can confirm the speed and general physics is absolutely perfect + the best out of any karter IMO (I have 170+ hours in TK2 and it's not even left the beta yet, I love it XD)

Hey My Karters 2. Have you herd of Warped kart racers? Its a Mario kart inspired kart racing game that stars 4 20th century Fox adult animated shows from Family Guy, American dad, King of the hill, and Solar opposites. Its only on Apple arcade which I had since I got my iPad from best buy as a early 16th birthday present. But maybe we can port all the tracks, racers, karts, wheels, and skins into the Mod workshop!
This looks really promising mod nation racers was a game i rembered borrowing from a library for my PS3 and it easily became one of my all time favs that i almost didn't bring it back i did though
Update: I saw u guys are actually working on audio mods u mentioned in game hopefully its for the menus as well if not im fine with in game music being able to be modded at least
@@kingcobragaming8551 , you can already add soundtracks to tracks and voiceovers to characters for a while now. You can try modding yourself even without the game and have your mods ready. Follow up the modding documentation link from the video description.
Wair is creating custom character animations possible ? (There seems to be a lot of animations to the point where using the presets is probably the better bet but i am just curious)
This isn't in the same league as ModNation Racers or LittleBigPlanet Karting, because those games use easy to use customization and editing tools crafted within the game itself. This game uses mods, which are not official nor are they easy to create yourself, unless you've already had experience in modding. Basically what I'm trying to say is that mods and built in editors are not the same thing.
Hey, in-game track editor is planned as well 🤗❤️ We already have early version of it, and our goal is to achieve similar quality of track editor known from ModNation Racers ( or even better 🤞) We hope to get it ready soon after the game release 💪
