Sir I have a doubt. I am actually ECE student but I am preparing for GATE CSE. I know that it's not gonna be a problem in case of MTECH as many non-CS aspirants also join IIT CSE after GATE CS exam
But can I join a PSU in CSE vacancy with my GATE CS score? Will they refrain me becoz I did my BTECH in ECE ( and not CSE).
I am tensed becoz I came to know that people with ECE degree but cracking ICRB in CSE does not get the chance in ISRO .. So does similar thing happens for PSUs as well???..
Plz reply if possible.

Purpose matters, whether you want to enjoy life or serve the Nation.
Infrastructure might doesn't matter much, but Location do matter in longer perspective, so if you want one, you need to adjust with another.
Favourite location & Dream job is a rare combo.

Medical cover by govt jobs is best out there and for me after covid this seems as a very huge perk in life.
But sur civil me to private jobs zaada h hi nhi....to civil branch ke liye kon konsi jobs h jisme jaa skte h other than PSUs

Sir I'm Diploma and Degree holder.When My Diploma is completed then I have joined MNC John Deere india Pvt Ltd as a Technical Trainee in Quality Department as well as I took admission in Engineering. I had selected college
who manage my attendance and other things.I have Total 3.6 Years experience in Quality Department on Diploma Basis.This year I have completed my engineering and I got job as a Junior Engineer in Maintenance Department.
I'm confusing between study and job
1) This is year SSC phase 9 release notification on the basis of diploma and experience.I have eligible for 6 Post in Junior engineer and chargeman.
2)I have filled NHPC JE and Indian Coast guard chargeman form.
SSC Phase is fully Non Technical exam
NHPC,IGCAR and Indian Coast Guard are technical some portion is non technical
What Should I do?

I am totally frustrated in my life after chemical engineering. Our college didn't gave any placement and my father didn't want me to do Mtech because of money problem. Maximum companies outside college interviews are asking for Mtech and reference. I am not getting any guidance as no one in my family is engineer? I am totally frustrated in my life? yes.. m resigning from one of the maharatna in coming 2 months
SATURDAY SUNDAY HOLIDAY IS A MYTH IN MOST OF THE PSUS ..if u r put in shifts at any 24*7 running plants, u have to work some days in morning 6AM and some times at nights (10 pm to 6 am).,,only 4 normal holidays per month....5 days working ,saturday sunday weekend is possible only in MNCs and in select PSUs(rare)

Daily growth is Noteworthy, otherwise u are at stake
Sarkari means sleeping a lot, everything on contracts or tenders , boots of govt

Sir, I'm working in PSU(SAIL) as a diploma engineer(operator cum technician) but I'm having BE (ME), I'm not satisfied with my job and I'm confusing to select a proper channel for my career
1) Can I switch to top MNC's(i think there is most difficult to get a job in MNC's because they developing and working on new technology and demands)
2)To go abroad like UAE or else anywhere
3)To prepare GATE and my age is now 30years

Apply for MS, with so much job experience you will easy get a good MS program in foriegn.
PSUs experience won't help you to get into MNCs especially in the IT, E-commerce and Analytics field.
