This is a beauty Nick. That's my favorite blade shape in the lineup. I simply can't say enough good things about Olamic, and Eugene. Each knife in their lineup is unique, and they make each one of those unique. What's amazing is whether you're the first owner or the fifth, they'll treat you the same, and take care of anything you want. And how many production knife companies have a buy-back to woo you into a new model? Anyway, congrats on the new model, and _thanks to your mysterious benefactor!_

I got one based on your original Busker review, and I’ve never been so sure you are a brilliant man. It cuts great, carries well and fidgets like touching it instantly transmits a brain-reorogram (a word?) that makes me want to pick it up whenever my eyes land on it. I’ve had to put it in a drawer. It’s the only way my other knives have a chance for pocket time.

If ever anybody needed convinced that aesthetics can only ever be subjective, I'll show them this video and make sure they listen to the gushing praise the object featured gets washed in. I'm very happy for Nick that's he's found something he's pleased with and can attach some sentimental value upon, but I think there's a very small population that would be able to do the same with this particular knife. It's...unique.

Lovely. I own a Largo with the acid rain as well ~ blue with brass internals and no backspacer (making it scary light) ~ one of my absolute favorites. I want a Vampo next. Congrats, Nick, few things as satisfying as losing something you love to find you've replaced it with something you love even more. And that is *not* hedonic adaptation, my friend, that's just good stuff.

Beautiful! I like the acid rain scales. I had a similar but not the same finish on my Busker. Sadly it went semi-transparent. I contacted Eugene and he said to rub it hard with a chamois but the original finish has never come back so far.

Hey Nick! Have you ever thought about doing a version of your own "long haul" (like Eugene) on this knife? I think it would be especially interesting because of the different blade shape & the fact that you've had time to really make your decision on it. Thank you again for another awesome video.

  • @ZechsAznable

I guess Nick really took the idea of “Never The Same” to heart on this build. This one is not only radically different from the previous, but that Entropic finish really doesn’t seem the same at every angle (in a good way). Poetic closure in knife form.

Ugh, that finish is fantastic. I also like the blade shape. The overall shape is pretty great as well. Not a huge fan of damasteel, but it gives the blade a lil something extra, which I feel is required due to the scales.
Never would I pay what they're likely asking for that, but still, I like it.

It's a beautiful knife, but I feel it would be better looking without all the secondary drill holes.
It takes away from the pattern of the 'entropic' titanium as well as giving the handle a swiss cheese look.

I have to admit that I find it hard to believe that a tool would take the risk of dipping a knife out of your prat.
Unless you were flashing and the lifter knew that the knife was not only valuable but easy to sell.
I am not sure how often pocket knives are a target for pickpockets.
It could happen, but I think it was more likely it slipped out when you were sitting. Perhaps the clip broke?

I just looked up the price of that knife. 695.00 dollars. How much money do you have to pay that much money for that ridiculous, ugly, useless knife that looks like the only person that would appreciate it, is a guy with gold teeth, lots of gold chains around his neck and pants that hang half way down his ass.
