- Today, we'll take a look at the newest addition to my collection, a true example of beauty born of tragedy, a brand new Olamic Cutlery Busker featuring the Entropic Finish and Damasteel blade.

Kinda reminds me of the crkt Pilar on acid . Sick knife , love it .
The take away from this, is Olamic will make your knife look however you want. Even if its really not for everyone lol
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
If this knife gives you joy, it's a beautiful thing
Don't know if this sounds crazy, but I've stood up at a dinning table to find that the table cloth has "lifted" a knife of mine by the clip!
oh heck yes!!! thanks for sharing the full story and that gorgeous knife!!!
What a great way to turn a frown upside down! Makes me feel so happy about the knife community! Beautiful knife and happy for you!
Thats a real beauty. Nice pick, and grats!
Beautiful, Nick! Glad You Got A Very Nice Replacement!
If I were to have a custom Busker made, this is about how I'd configure it. Excellent piece Nick and so glad to see a happy end out of a sad beginning!
I've been wondering about the original busker for ages. Glad to hear you have one back in your pocket. Some day I'll hopefully take the leap!
Congratulations on the beautiful knife Nick.
That’s a great combo. I like that blade shape
I like that blade a lot. Glad you have a busker back in the collection
Absolutely outstandingly beautiful!
So glad you have one back in your life and that you are happy with the style choices
I never really cared for the overall lines of your other busker but the small difference in blade shape really makes the knife look better to me
That thing looks awesome, I hope you enjoy it
beautiful knife, i love the angle between the blade and the grip, makes it more useable.
Beautiful chaos, like your videos.
They hit a home run on it love the finish and the blade😍
Hang on tight to it and enjoy it 😎
Wow! Beautiful!
This is a beauty Nick. That's my favorite blade shape in the lineup. I simply can't say enough good things about Olamic, and Eugene. Each knife in their lineup is unique, and they make each one of those unique. What's amazing is whether you're the first owner or the fifth, they'll treat you the same, and take care of anything you want. And how many production knife companies have a buy-back to woo you into a new model? Anyway, congrats on the new model, and _thanks to your mysterious benefactor!_
I got one based on your original Busker review, and I’ve never been so sure you are a brilliant man. It cuts great, carries well and fidgets like touching it instantly transmits a brain-reorogram (a word?) that makes me want to pick it up whenever my eyes land on it. I’ve had to put it in a drawer. It’s the only way my other knives have a chance for pocket time.
If ever anybody needed convinced that aesthetics can only ever be subjective, I'll show them this video and make sure they listen to the gushing praise the object featured gets washed in. I'm very happy for Nick that's he's found something he's pleased with and can attach some sentimental value upon, but I think there's a very small population that would be able to do the same with this particular knife. It's...unique.
Very unique knife, glad you got a replacement.
I like that damasteel blade. The contrast with the oily finish is just.. wow.
Every time I hear a knife "was" this and "*was*" that in a Shabazz review, I get really nervous 😂
Lovely. I own a Largo with the acid rain as well ~ blue with brass internals and no backspacer (making it scary light) ~ one of my absolute favorites. I want a Vampo next. Congrats, Nick, few things as satisfying as losing something you love to find you've replaced it with something you love even more. And that is *not* hedonic adaptation, my friend, that's just good stuff.
Beautiful!
I'm glad you like it. It would not have any carry time in my pocket.
It’s a beaut! I’m jealous that yours comes with an opening hole. I wish mine had that.
Nice replacement.. looks great
That knife is amazing looking 😍
sorry for your loss nicky, but that knife is a blessing in disguise
Looking nice. I have a rocks pattern with seabed finish. I think I'll deck out my whippersnapper!
Beautiful! I like the acid rain scales. I had a similar but not the same finish on my Busker. Sadly it went semi-transparent. I contacted Eugene and he said to rub it hard with a chamois but the original finish has never come back so far.
Sweet knife Nick! I miss mine also
Hey Nick! Have you ever thought about doing a version of your own "long haul" (like Eugene) on this knife? I think it would be especially interesting because of the different blade shape & the fact that you've had time to really make your decision on it. Thank you again for another awesome video.
Wow what a wonderful ending to a otherwise sad event it's a very sexy pocket saber Nick well done sir
I guess Nick really took the idea of “Never The Same” to heart on this build. This one is not only radically different from the previous, but that Entropic finish really doesn’t seem the same at every angle (in a good way). Poetic closure in knife form.
That looks awesome, and I bet it's even better in person. Makes me wish Olamic did lefty models...
They make the busker in a lefty version, - now at least :) Old thread I know...
I know I couldn’t afford to buy one, but I had to look. Now I am considering what I can pawn...not the 1st time you have done this to me, Mr. Shabazz.
I would really like to see a video of how that finish is applied. Bravo good sir, beautiful choice.
Ugh, that finish is fantastic. I also like the blade shape. The overall shape is pretty great as well. Not a huge fan of damasteel, but it gives the blade a lil something extra, which I feel is required due to the scales.
Never would I pay what they're likely asking for that, but still, I like it.
Busker Deux looks worth the wait!
I love happy endings!
Beautiful
Sweet blade. 👍👍👍👍👍
Gotta admit, not a fan of the handle finish, but the overall shape is gorgeous, love ya videos man, certainly helps having such an extensive catalog of knife videos to watch while (attempting) to design knives
Which blade shape do you prefer. I may get another and try the semper instead of the largo I had.
Looks like something you would find next to the Z Knife at a gas station
Are those holes not a problem for touching the blade/things rubbing on the blade? I chose to get a solid handle whippersnapper last minute because I was worried about that
Good for you nick. I know the feeling - mine was a g10 harpy 😭
Pretty sure that's the same damasteel pattern as the one on my wedding band. Nice pick.
I actually lost mine in the moving process as well. It tore me apart. One of my most expensive knifes and it was gone. I really want another one. But it's so expensive that I haven't been able to gather the funds for another.
Hi Nick what is your opinion on the olamic whippersnapper specially with the sheepsfoot blade
Wow! Not to be crass but you would have to love this knife for $900, now I know why I don't commonly consider Olamic for my next new purchase.
Looks awesome! I’m on Eric Luther’s list, and he calls this a PMT finish (Poor mans Timascus). lol. I thought you would get a kick outta that. :)
i've never liked speed holes, but for some type of "punk" look, this actually looks incredibly good
congrats on the new knife
Nice Busker.
I love the olamic Cutlery Busker. But I liv i denmark and dont know how to get on 😢
How much extra did it cost for these upgrades?
Patiently waiting on rainmaker review.
Hey Nick, have you heard that Camillus has a folder called TRC which claims to have a 65 HRC VG10 blade and carbon fiber scales and the MSRP is just 69.99. Is that a joke or something? 65HRC VG10??Never heard anything like that! I'd like to hear your opinion!
damn. nice knife
At least they didn't get the gem of all gems our precious green hunter
Were you a voice actor? Cause your voice sounds so familiar.
Of course my opinion: I like the blade shape and patterning. The handle is too crazy for me.
Eye candy. 🍭
It's a beautiful knife, but I feel it would be better looking without all the secondary drill holes.
It takes away from the pattern of the 'entropic' titanium as well as giving the handle a swiss cheese look.
I can imagine a knife like this might come from a knife maker who does copies of those knives of the month.
The original one you had was really nice, but this one is a little busy for my taste.
Ya, lots of pic pockets, my good buddy works vice in LV. Not uncommon!
To the Joker that stole your original Busker.. the jokes on them.. now you own a far nicer version of the knife. That man is justice!
I'd hit it... I love my Largo Busker too. Congrats.
Flexing on em'
It's a view into the Immaterium. Beware the Architect of Fate.
I have to admit that I find it hard to believe that a tool would take the risk of dipping a knife out of your prat.
Unless you were flashing and the lifter knew that the knife was not only valuable but easy to sell.
I am not sure how often pocket knives are a target for pickpockets.
It could happen, but I think it was more likely it slipped out when you were sitting. Perhaps the clip broke?
Pick pockets generally know what to look for. I imagine they saw the flashy Timascus or similar clip and automatically knew it would be worth the effort.
Toothpick knives series.
Gaudy as hell. I believe that is the colours of SIN and happiness. And I love it. Do it come for left handed folk?
It’s kind of like if the spyderco drunken and the CRKT Pillar has a baby🔪🔪
This is the reason i dont have knives over 100 bucks...totally just not because im poor... but at least when i loose my knives i don't need cry about it as much
P.s. i like the look of this busker aloooooot more... the previous one looked hideous to me
#acidflashback
👀...💥Bam!
F💎🤭
It’s alright but, it’s no CRKT Wrinkle.
Would've been funny if you left acres of finger print marks on, in this video.
Looks like the pingo
Your heart will always Ruike???
It's sad for knife self defense when your weapon is stolen from you without you knowing.
Ummm, there are holes in that handle! 😳
I want one too...no I don’t.
Gas station-style aesthetics look like trash until you pay thousands of dollars for them.
I don't understand the reasoning behind this trypophobia inducing holes in scales
Weight reduction, and it looks neat.
@@NickShabazz but trypophobia though
Don't take it to Vegas..
Like the blade shape, everything else is trying way to hard.
I just looked up the price of that knife. 695.00 dollars. How much money do you have to pay that much money for that ridiculous, ugly, useless knife that looks like the only person that would appreciate it, is a guy with gold teeth, lots of gold chains around his neck and pants that hang half way down his ass.
michael leon oof
meh to each their own.
SmokeAndClickCircles true.
As crazy as this sounds, you just described Nick perfectly. Except he wears a bat man mask...
Lol.
