Fun fact: Valles Marineris, the humongous canyon on Mars, is actually named after the Mariner 9 spacecraft. It was the first ever human-made thing to orbit Mars, or any planet other than Earth, and Valles Marineris was also discovered from Mariner 9's images (previous probes had somehow managed to miss it)

I think that a lot of the reason mars has such extreme geological features is precisely because it's so small.
It has less gravity and thus less force pulling into a tighter, more exact sphere. It's more free to be less regular than the earth.
This actually makes a lot of sense
Earth also have lot of holes and crack, it's just covered with ocean water

As an Idahoan, I can explain a bit about the scarcity of power plants here. The most of Northern Idaho is comprised of heavily forested mountains (much of which is a part of the Boise National Forest). This makes large constructs like power plants difficult to build. Where you do see some power plants in the southern part of the state is mostly along the largest river in the state being the Snake River. South of that, there is a fair bit of open plains where you might find a few wind turbines as you drive through the windy valley towards Utah.
That’s the first time I have ever seen the word idahoan but thank you for clearing it up :)
6:30 Interesting fact: Mongolia is dominating the Sumo organization.
5 out 6 last Yokozunas are from Mongolia. That's considering the fact that it used to be that only Japanese could become Yokozunas before.
How do I know this? I was bored and started watching Sumo one day. It's actually very complex and interesting sport.
They failed to conquer Japan, now they r conquering Japan with sumo

The split of Hans Island not only gave Canada a second land border, it also gave Denmark a second land border as well.
Esperanto is a conlang (constructed language), meant to be a universal language. Turkish and Albanian are super unique, so they are closest in relation to a universal language
Turkish isn't that unique tho, it just doesn't have any connections with European languages since it's part of the Turkic language family

@@amadeosendiulo2137 actually I learned about Esperanto last year at school when we were learning about all types of languages.
Esperanto is actually a unique language in that it didn’t develop naturally, but was actually constructed to unite everyone under a single, easy to learn language. It is the most widely spoken ConLang (constructed language) and it even has 2,000 native speakers, weird as that is.
Regarding 7:37. Read carefully! This is based on letter distributions. For instance, Hungarian is NOT similar to Swedish at all. It's loosely related to Finnish and Estonian. Maltese is also not related to Estonian, but more related to Arabic and Latin languages.

9:34 "There is a lot of room over here for power plants"
Aren't those the Rocky Mountains?
Yes, but most importantly, there's not a lot of people and factories that need electricity.
And since power cables always get a little bit warm when electricity runs through them, there's a limited range how far you can transfer it before nothing comes out the other end. That's actually the biggest problem with wind power. The best places to put wind turbine are usually places far away from industrial areas.

If you got rid of all the liquid water on earth the Mariana Trench would be bigger than Mars’s canyon.
Fun fact: Canada has the CFL, which plays Canadian Football, which is American Football with like 3 tweaks.
Mars doesn't have much of an atmosphere or precipitation so surface features aren't eroded like they are on Earth, allowing them to be massive without much change over time. Also, Mars doesn't have any oceans hiding land formations like Earth does (Earth's longest mountain range is hidden by the Atlantic Ocean, for example)
There are better circles that can be made that have more people inside than outside rather than those weird ones

Fun fact: finnish language, hungarian language and estonian language are related. In finland we call the "suomalais-ukrilainen" language group translates roughly to finnish-hungarian.
