At the 2:27 mark, pressing the delete key does not work on my MacBook. You can go to Edit-> Cut to accomplish the same thing. Otherwise a great tutorial.

You're most welcome my friend. You don't save the file if you want it in png or jpg,you export it. Try the export option and you will be able to export it in jpg or png. Hope this answers your question. All the best.
