I have a 4car 1959 and a 4 car 1962 unit which was a metro models conversion of the static EFE I hope EFE rail do the 59/62 units and release more modern trains like the 1967/72 stock as they share the same design apart from the 1972 mk 2 which has a few detail differences in the cab area which is minor ,I have Bachmann S stock train from the LT museum I’ve seen it now on eBay for nearly £1000 so your right the prices go through the roof ,great presentation Richard and mark all the best Mark 👍🏻😊
Its a good model it’s just a shame that it doesn’t run a bit faster as it’s a bit slow for the prototype. I’ve had a few problems with my model it had to go back to Bachmann twice for repair and I also had to do my own repair. I’d buy another if they did at island line two car set
Now, if EFE produced a train of T stock (that I fondly remember), with or without a Bo-Bo Metrovick loco, I would save up for some. Still, with the price of proprietry models these days, I would have to keep scratch building, especially as it costs a lot of cash and effort to convert to EM. I recall a photo from years ago of someone showing their model UndergrounD railway with just a few wires disappearing into the floorboards from the controller.
They are very nice models, but I know someone who used to drive the real and he stepped up the model as soon as it came out. It was not very reliable. Martin. (Thailand)
hey the old rolling stock from my home ah it even sounds like my trips to sandown and ryde here on the island I loved those.
The sound is pretty good!
Its a really nice model it reminds me of the London underground
Thanks again for Statfold barn it was amazing I enjoyed controlling
fairlie good idea
I think for the money it should have lights and through wiring.
