We had so much fun doing this last year that we did it again this year! Today we are drawing holiday outfit themes from a bag and heading to the thrift store to craft some dope outfits for the season. Our themes included Christmas in California, fancy party, and a post-NYC brunch! We love how these thrifted outfits turned out!

You should make this a series throughout the whole year with different occasions and weather. It's one of my favorite things to watch honestly
It’s so creative and the themes are so fun! I also love seeing Becky and Kelsey kinda work separately. It would be perfect to do one during the summer, like different ~vacation occasions~
i immediately started thinking about valentine's day outfits like 'galentine's day brunch' or 'romantic dinner for 2' or 'daytime picnic' i could go on hahaha
Agreed! I hope they see this. Great idea.
Leticia Carvalho yes push this comment to the tippy top!!
Can you girls do a video where instead of thrifting for clothes to do a diy, you shop your own closet?
Also I think it would’ve been cute if Becky made the shiny long black skirt into high waisted pants and I tucked the peplum blush top! But I still love the outfit 🤍
Yes! Do a shop my closet inspired by Alyssa Beltempo
Kelsey's news years brunch outfit was a whole vibe and I'm here for it
Does anyone else ever see thrift stores in UA-cam videos and think where the heck are these thrift stores they shop at? Thrift stores in my areas are nothing lik this
I went to like 3 thrift stores looking for materials for halloween costume ideas and found maybe one useful item haha OMG and the cashier said "Old Navy? I'm gunna make that $3." I died hahah
You really have to learn your area figure out where the rich people are donating. Figure out what thrift stores are good for what items. So go to every thrift store and see what kinda of things they have. And you need to go pretty much every week.
And you need to spend like 3 hours at the thrift store looking.
It takes time and work. You don't just find stuff by wandering in one day for 30mins once ever 3 months.
@@Becca__Birdie If you wanted to find stuff for Halloween at thrift stores you shouldn't have made one day of looking you needed to be looking for things for at least a month or 2 prior to when you needed them and visited thrift stores like once a week. That is if you are looking for specific items.
I find it helps to go to “independent” thrift store or charity shops rather than a chain thrift! Hope that helps, good luck!
@@LifeLostSoul Most areas spread out their donations over different stores so it's not as simple as just going to the thrift store in a rich area, sadly.
Size 66 is Korean; equal to a size 6 US
I am on a "no new clothes for a year" challenge. I thrifted my holiday outfit for
I know this is an old comment but that outfit sounds awesome!
Kelsey's summer Christmas dress is giving me Florence and the machine vibes
When your thrift store is actually nice with current fashion, can't relate.
Exactly! I have to DIG, and I mean DIG!! Girls are always talking about "THriFt HAul!!", they get oversized trendy sweaters, doc martens, all of that!
I love that the girls are seeming more like friends again! For a while there it seemed very forced. We love you guys!
Jenny McKinnon really? I feel like they’ve always come off that way though but I just chalked it up to their personalities
Agreed. I thought the same in some videos. Glad I’m not the only one. Cheers.
I definitely noticed it for a while too. Might have had some personal stuff going on.
when Becky turned the stretch for the knee patch: seamstress approved 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That red dress is perfect with the open back, it's so beautiful.
this is definitely more of a Texas look, especially with the jacket & boots.
Becky looks like a stunnah in the fancy Christmas outfit!!! 😍😍😍
Same Becky, I always pick up the clothes from the floor in stores 😅
Me too. Inner OCD self.
As a fan who lives in Texas, I'm loving all these Texas references in today's video. YEE HAW!!
The new year day brunch was my fav outfit omg is so cuteee
She looked so high fashion in that outfit. It was my fav too!
same! the sweater and ray bans would have been a few hundred!
The fancy dress Becky made would have been a killer romper!! Speaking of which a upcycle romper episode would be awesome! ❤️❤️
I love outfit diys from Kelsey every time. She’s got an awesome sense of style.
they all look incredible, I think the cali one was exactly what it should be and the fancy dinner party outfit was probably the most impressive transformation
Lol Kelsey just wanting a Texas outfit and not sticking to the California theme at all 😂 I understand... and the outfit was cute so who cares!
LOL hell yeah because Texas kicks Cali's ass! Great job on that dress...way cuter with the back cut out.
I'm from California and I'd wear the purple sweater/striped pants/black shoes and bag outfit for Christmas dinner. I'm in a Southern Ca beach town, so I can expect high 50s to low 60s during the day that time of year. You don't see to many cowboy boots in the LA area, though I can't say for other parts of our large and varied state. Good episode overall.
Yaaas that 1989 merch never go out of style!!! Werk it Allie!!
My favorite thing about the sorrygirls is they don’t need to put their title in all caps with a super interesting photo they just make the title what the video is actually about!
The back of kelsey's dress is great. Luved the outfit for Texas. Great job Becky. This is definitely your niche. Great job both of you. Very inspirational.
: sell me that lavender/red orange/black out fit! I’d wear the hell out of that! Gorgeous pants and really well put together outfit!
it was so cool coming back to this video seeing how you've used some of these pieces in the future! excellent job ladies!
Becky’s “Penny Lane” coat with Kelsey’s “California girl” sunnies!
Yaaaassss
That coat was uggleee and looks really dirty
Watching this and recalling the days when we could thrift....Ah, those were the days, my friends, we thought they'd never end..........
The fancy dinner outfit looks so good!
All these outfits were sooooo fly... I loved the lilac sweater and striped trousers look, it’s like instant sunshine on a gray day. The fleecy patches on the ripped jeans is a jean-ius idea (yes, I went there.) I need more thrift videos with some personalization like this!
Becky's first outfit is perfection.
That lilac sweater was a dream find!
Lol actual CA native here. You did good as the weather is “warmer” but still chilly for us. There is snow in a quarter of the state so Becky’s outfit works as well. Great job!
That blush pink sweater is EVERYTHINGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She says the beautiful lilac sweater is bold, while wearing black white and red plaid. LOL All the outfits were aces.
Love that 😍 ‘what is better than Black Friday shopping?’ Answer: ‘THRIFT STORE SHOPPING!’
Living in California, I tend to wear jeans, a long sleeve shirt that’s thick, boots (like doc martins), and a windbreaker or jacket that is waterproof because of the rain. Tbh it’s not warm enough to wear a light dress 😅
The fleecy Sherpa from the tote bag DIY!!! Yaaaaas!! ❤✌ Love you guys - thanks for the inspo! Hugs from the UK xx
I loVE the lilac sweater and bold stripe pants!! It is my favorite outfit ever!
Oh my god that redo of the dress is brilliant! Outfit looks so amazing with the cowboy. It’s also!
The outfit with the Chanel sweater, leopard pants, and Penny Lane cute was soooo cute
The fancy dinner dress ended up looking so lovely!
I'm from Texas, and I thought the hole in the jeans looked like Texas. 😂
I was nervous about the fancy party look, but it came together so impressively! I love all the outfits you both came up with. And the 70’s coat is amazing
I live in California so it was so funny how stumped she was 😂 for Christmas I usually wear like a dress with cute tights, and maybe a layered long sleeve under or just like cute jeans a long sleeve and boots!
Okay but, can we acknowledge that Kelsey is a total fashion icon?
Loveee the fancy dinner outfit- the skirt piece with the color of the top, so cute
Becky wearing a pajama top w jeans is my vibe all day everyday. I do it all the time. Love it.
The fancy dinner dress came out so good!!
That coach bag is real !!! I bought that exact one at the coach outlet a long time ago for my mom lol
I love both of your first outfits! So 70’s 😍😍
Christmas in Cali from a Californian: leggings/workout pants/skinny jeans, cute boots, turtle neck w/ zip vest orrr sweater with a cute scarf.
I live in California (near Disneyland) and it actually gets pretty cold during Christmas. It either rains or it’s between 40-60F degrees.
I usually wear a long sleeve dress with booties/ boats and a coat/jacket for a Christmas.
Another outfit choice I wear for Christmas would be a pretty sweater or turtle neck (kinda like the one Becky wore in the first outfit) with jeans and booties/boots.
Oh my goodness the Sherpa Fleece Bag project jumper 😂 these patches are such a vibe though, in the early 90s I owned a pair of ripped jeans all beautifully frayed, and behind the rip I had patches of floral velour. You’re totally capturing that authentic spirit 😙👌
Billie Wagtail those sound so cute!! I’ll have to try that
That brunch outfit is sooooo good!!!
In Kelsey's defence, any place that doesn't have to deal with greasy messy snow during the holiday season seems instantly warmer than Canada 😂
I'm obsessed with Becky's red shirt. I know it's not from this thrift trip but seriously, my Christmas needs that.
I’m absolutely here for the New Years brunch outfit. It’s so bright and fun and that sweater is amazing.
Wish I had an event to pick a cute outfit, too. I'll probably spend Christmas in a warm onesie and the New Years Eve in sweat pants and some lovely warm sweatshirt.
Becky’s first outfit and kelseys last outfit!!!! My favorites!!
Great video - Kelsey and Becky you two have such good thrift store luck wow - Babaton and Steve Madden? Cool finds. My fav look was Becky's Christmas market look, that jacket is such a great find!
I recognize that fleece sweater! It was from your Nordstrom’s DIY...the awesome YSL fleece tote. And you guys continue the fun and fabulous thrift upcycles. Such inspo!
So the hotel was a cool set up for that dress. And Texas was also cool for the California vibe
I live in southern California and I think your Christmas dress was spot on. This video concept is a win.
i swear i thought kelsey's last outfit was going to be my least favorite - i was so wrong. i love that you could easily make it work with some black boots on a slushy day, too
The thrift store outfits and home decor flips are my fav, and the reason I subbed. Thanks so much for this. HAHAHA you kept the rest of the very expensive bag that you made for 25 bucks I think it was. Remembers because I'm in the process of making it to take to Edmonton on the 18th.
Oh my god that redo of the dress Ana skirt for dinner out is so win!!!! You guys are freakin amazing
My favorite video yet! So fun! I think the challenge was amazing!
Omg the Sherpa bag !!!!! Such a good thrift flip
Great video. The purple top and red pants remind me of the Miranda Sings outfit. I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season.
Um successful would be an understatement for how this thrift trip went. So many finds!!
Almost famous is one of my all time favorite movies!!! Loveeeee. You guys absolutely nailed these looks!! I love the first two equally!
wow the fleece patch looked so cute
Love you girls. You make thrifting look so easy!!! Can you do a wedding guest thrifting video? Every season wedding guest, that’d be awesome!!! 💖💖💖
When I heard Christmas in California, my brain just went Beauty Guru outfit lol. So maybe a fitted mini skirt (plaid or checkered to make it wintery) with either a thin fitted sweater or a lacy bodice with a faux fur or winter jacket and thigh highs
When Kelsey tried on the glasses and asked if they looked cool, it reminded me of Jenna marbles and actually laughed when they showed a clip of her 😂
those outfits were reallyyyyyyy reallyyyyyyyyy cool on you both. you did an amazing job girlzzzz
I really liked the DIY for the jeans. I've tried patching rips before and hadn't thought to stitch around the hole on the top!
That bold outfit was fierce Kelsey!
It's actually raining in California this Christmas and it's sooo nice!
Love the lavender look (especially the sweater)
Loved loved the California outfit.
For the people wanting to try out the patch in the jeans thing, jeans are actually very forgiving when you handsew if done correctly. If you just pick up very small stiches, the thread will dissapear in the fabric, especially when you go up and down close to eachother in the same ditch of the jeans fabric. Then you can barely see the thread and it will look very clean.
That last outfit was super cute !!!! ❤
The purple sweater outfit it to die for.
Becky's first outfit was absolute fave !! Great video!!
Also opaque tights work great under jeans in place of long johns to keep it thin but also warm!
-Wisconsinite
And looks cute still of you have ripped jeans, my favorite for ripped jeans have a subtle gold flaking threaded in it.
Those orange striped pants!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great finds. Creative adaptations. Nicely done!
California is a whole mess of temperatures during the Holiday. We've had cold rainy days and then a warm sunny day and then back to the rain.
Beckys first outfit reminds me of my favorite bratz and my scene dolls from the 00’s 💖💖💖
So good! Brunch outfit was my fave!
Kelsey wins with the last outfit!! Love these videos.
Kelsey, cowboy boots are a hallmark Texas fashion staple, more so the California. These will be perfect for your trip. I’m from the SW, so trust me on this!
Texan here it does resemble Texas haha
Talking about the cutout in Becky’s jeans. Also it is rather cold in Texas right now! It gets colder in most parts of Texas, especially North Texas and the Panhandle! In Houston right now it is about 50 F which is close to 10 C! And it is colder in Dallas and Austin!
Love! Love! Love y'all! Seriously, the best kind of thrifting video for the season! 💗💗💛💛🎄🎄🎄
LIVING for New Year’s Day brunch outfit. Nailed it 👌🏻
Becky's dress is gorgeous!!!
The open back on the red dress was so cute !!!
I work at Aritzia and we still sell the exact same 2 sweaters you found! They aren't even old!!
