Yeah, definitely could’ve been 6 and 0 with Fields if the defense played better. He was good against Indy and did struggle at first against Dallas but gave the team a chance to win if the defense could’ve just closed out that last drive. I’d still like to see what Wilson got though.
If the defense played better lol, they’re the only reason we won ANY of those games. They blew it against the cowboys and the colts..maybe if we had an offense that could score over 20pts. It wouldn’t be an issue. Eventually your defense gets tired physically for bailing your ass out all the time..3rd down is awful for the Steelers.

Pass rush was lacking in both games probably due to injuries but still the defense played bad in both. Offense played good in Indy and bad in Dallas initially but cleaned it up. If not for Dak being Dak and gifting the turnovers the defense would’ve looked even worse there. Then at the end of the game if the defense just stopped the TD the team would’ve won. It was 7 or nothing. So not even like they had to worry about a field goal. I’m not saying the offense has been phenomenal but it hasn’t been terrible and the games the team lost are because the defense gave up a bunch of yards and couldn’t close out. Fields did fuck up the snap signal on the last drive in Indy but he still kept the team in the game up to that point t when the defense couldn’t stop Flacco. 🤷🏼♂️
