Wow you guys have some beautiful trucks! Im going to start car hauling in April, and couldn’t be more excited to start! I drove dry van, reefer, tanker, dry bulk, and currently driving flatbed. Thank you for your time and information! I’m here to learn about car hauling and see more of the Always Hauling trucks! Subscribed!
I worked at the only Blue Beacon Truck Lube Center in Oak Creek, WI. Back in early 1990's, 3rd shift supervisor Midnight to 8am. When I started we were lucky to see 2-3 trucks a shift. After I was there awhile, we were busy almost non-stop. The drivers liked the way we did our work. Being the over night shift we had the time to just slow things down enough to do a better job. The same drivers came through every week and they must have told there friends because we would get slammed. I even was given 2 more guys because we were so busy. My crew set records there. Everything was great until Petro bought us out. They added tires and quite a bit more services. Thing was a lot of my guys were good at what they did and they had a hard time learning all of the new things with little to no training. and they wanted to cut our pay with no incentives or commissions anymore and do more work. we would get incentives to get the trucks out fast, full service in 10-12 min. It was tough. Just the draining and refilling takes that long.
thank you!! as someone who’s been a supervisor at beacon for 4 years now and counting , we’re human. and blue beacon is more about there customers than they are employees. when we start getting hammered of course the quality will decrease. it’s the nature of the beast. y’all want a perfect wash but line up trucks to the end of the road. not to mention out of the 8 hours we get ONE Single 30 minute break. cut us some slack or go to the mom and pop shop.
Do you think you could make a video about what got you started this industry? And how you ended up with this truck. This is inspiring to watch. I’d love to hear your insight.
Cleanest car hauler out there! So glad I found this channel. I think I might have seen this truck in the background of a video from Cletus and cars or one of his events at a race track. I just subbed!
@Ralphybilt streaking beacon never fails 😂 Great content bro! Let’s bring it to the people so they can see what we are going through being carhaulers. Definitely show more cinematic shots of the trucks.
Ma boi!! Finally ma niiiiig. I've be waiting on you to drop. I filmed you on the 75 north in GA around exit 218 In Hampton. You were hauling Cleetus McFarland cars. Unfortunate my audio was bad so I didn't post it. Love the video! Hit: go pro head mount is the move (P.O.V) ma boi!
Ralphy my man, I'm from the Cleetus Mcfarland channel this just popped up in my feed. So glad you started a channel, maybe you should get Ole cleeter to give you a shout get you some more subs😀
Almost ashamed to admit that 15 years ago I worked the Streakin Beacon in Lake Station Indiana.😂 We had a good reputation there back then, but of course with as many washes we did in 24 hours as a triple bay wash it was impossible to satisfy every customer. I’m definitely glad to not be doing that anymore and definitely glad to be out of customer service. I will say car haulers are without a doubt the hardest to do with all the possible angles. I was a supervisor and made sure we didn’t skimp on the rinse and we also didn’t recycle water, everything went down the drains and fresh city water came in, might not not be anymore that was 15 years ago. I Thought I recognized you/your truck from Cleetus’s vids.👍
@@Jay-ez4sw Those places don’t attract the smartest applicants. 😂 You either work there because your in school and the schedule is flexible or for little while after school or young adult until you figure out what you want to. I worked 4-12 shift while in high school then ran the midnight shift for a little while before getting into the steel mills and became a millright/machinist. From what I saw the guys in their 30s-40s still working their where alcoholics, drug addicts, criminal records or just bums. Sometimes all of the above.😂 One guy I thought was in his late 30s was only 24 that’s how wrecked the guy was.😂
I work at a blue beacon right now, satisfying every customer is impossible but we try our best, and yeah car haulers are impossible to 100% clean, someone will miss something
I had another 567 Pete that I had washed at the beacon in dodge city Kansas. Never will go there again! I paid for engine, undercarriage, rain x, all of it. No undercarriage wash, no engine wash, the basic wash was pure garbage! The beacon in Fargo did a great job! The on in Oakley does a good job too. Weatherford Tx does a good job.
Man, it's clear you studied up before making the channel. Awesome vid. I also forgot how gorgeous that truck is. Edit: I commented prematurely. All those trucks are gorgeous.
Nice video i also haul cars for a living just bought my first truck its not pretty but im hoping to get it cleaned up i really like your truck super sharp
I live in the Northwest, Blue beacon in Jerome Idaho does a pretty decent job. Most of our mom and pops are pretty good especially one called Express power wash. Once you get into Oregon and Washington it's hard to find a good truck wash. It's always a pain later when you find issues and then you're expected to get back in a line behind 9 or 10 trucks to get it fixed. You guys have nice looking trucks
Streakin Beacon.... They hit my brand new Mac flatbed with acid on just one side and half of the rear, not even 24 hours after I had polished the back. I was livid, and to top it off, it was on my birthday too.
Any idea where to find those 45 degree brackets for the double watermelons that's on the mirrors? Been trying to find them and seems impossible anymore
thank you. just said in another comment that they expect us to move at such an unreal speed and it doesn’t help that drivers are a pain in the ASS 80% of the damn time. blame the company for giving us 30 minute breaks 2 hours after we come in and expect us to preform at a high level the next 6 hours after. not to mention trucks lined up to the side of the building !!
@@Ralphybilt yea man it was your trucc, exit 60 off 43 or 41 i cant remember!! but it was deff you. dodnt even know you had a youtube. that shits dope as fucc though
Sorry if you have already answered this, but how can you have a 2022 glider? I thought you couldn't get a glider past 2010 or something like that? I'm just curious and love you your trucks man! Keep up the awsome work!
New subscriber..always wondered when you only have one car on and it's above the tractor doesn't that make the truck handle bad? And is that second stick hooked up to a range splitter?
I see a lot of comments saying "glad you started a channel." Did you come from another channel? Where does everyone know you from so I can go check it out.
Ralphy can have a dirty truck, and still look cleaner than 95% of every truck out there lol

12:45 this the truck you drive now?
It's soap residue that they are not fully rinsing off, likely due to rushing.

What new build like that cost
