I started listening to some PMtoday again and was realizing how under-rated the music was. It gradually brought me here.

The feel I get from the beginning reminds me of some of the scenes from Interstellar. So beautiful, this song was spectacular.
Sergio and the lyric about being somebody's "ghost" which is a recurring line in Interstellar. Love that film, love this song.

Never thought this is what i would hear when i heard about you guys playing again. But i love this stuff man. Amazingly talented family. I use to actually play shows with you guys around Arkansas before PMToday got signed. I was in a band called Even Heroes Bleed. Never came anywhere close to being as good as you guys but still loved to play.

But it dawned on me today, Was this song inspired by the film Interstellar?
“I’m not ready to be your ghost.” (A conversation between the father and daughter)
“Have you ever wondered what lies beyond the event horizon” (Something they focus on in the film)
There are so many similarities with the films plot and your lyrics, and also the slight organ use in this reminds me of the film’s score as well.
I may be totally off with this one but I just thought I’d ask, cause that’d be really cool!

Hey Daniel, sorry for the late response here. The song and the music was absolutely inspired by the film Interstellar. I remember walking into the theater with my brothers to see the film for the first time (we were late so we missed the opening sequence), but as soon as we entered the room, we were met with this massive sub bass drone that felt like it was swallowing the entire theater. You could feel the vibrations in your chest and it was just the coolest feeling. That stuck with me and I loved the story of the film as well. Good observation.
@@Modeling that is so awesome. That film is one of my favorites and it affected me greatly when seeing it in the theater. This great film is complimented by this amazing song you guys did.

@@daniellinares9408 That's incredibly kind of you to say man. It's one of our favorite films as well and we watch it every year. Where are you from? We've been doing a lot of shows this year so it's a possibility, but maybe we can arrange something that leans in your direction this summer.
