I got inspired by you and now I'm putting extra efforts into music. Thank you for your inspiration, Yohan Kim.
*
For me , he is one of the best pianists of the world.
I used Roland RD-2000 on keys.
Used Cubase 9 on program.
Used Keyscape on piano sound.
Yo this pinned comment had no comments so I’m just gonna post here in case i get famous or something
A whole 3 thousand dollar list 😂
I have keyscape too!
What about the audio interface???
@@FJBCmonMan My audio interface is Audient id44.
From Syria 🇸🇾 Yohan, you're one of the best Jazz pianists in the world! 🌎💙 🎹 🤩👏🏻🎼🎶🎵💯
I'm really feeling this groove. Great playing. You're REALLY good
Agreed, he is very talented.
I wish it had sheet music to this song, I’ll instantly buy it. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this now
There are not enough superlatives to describe the playing of this young man. But it speaks volumes of a support system which has allowed him to develop to this amazing standard. How much other talent would we see and hear if only . . . . .
I've listened at lease 10 times. You're amazing!
INSANELY GOOD! I’m so proud of this pianist.
lol
hes not even blind folded
Increíble, todo lo que hace me llega al alma!!!
0:42 ahhh there it is, even twice in a row
I heard it too! ^^ nice add tho
Haha Nice L***
Ta bada bada.... badaaaaa
Just superb! The technique, composition , harmony magical.
Thank you, but all credit goes to Yohan Kim.
You have the best taste of building licks man, cool motifs and feeling are great!!
Your hair actually make everything look 100x cooler lol...

@@iago7897 sorry lol
Another level..thank you for displaying such artistry to the world.
Great playing!
You’ve become my jamming buddy.
I jammed to this with my bass with my phone so the bass volume from this video is quite low.
Hope to actually jam with you one day.
To me, this is pure natural talent. Not to knock on classic pianists, but i see 99% (especially asians) of people learn classic piano through repetition and systematically building on it within the frame of classical template (and im fairly certain that this guy has solid classical piano background). By no means i would dare to call it a easy feat to become a world class classic pianist, but this groove sense to me is not something that i consider to be taught through mere repetition.
you'd be surprised at how systematically you have to practice for jazz and similar styles. I agree that it relies alot more on you're own imagination and 'natural musicianship', but you have to be very rigid and precise in the way that you practice, and it most definitely can be learnt and taught.
@@NInjatam I agree with this very much. A lot of jazz pianists had taken classical lessons as children as well, the classical etudes can help develop a lot of skills, but there's a seperate set of skills needed to play contemporary styles as well, that aren't taught at all through classical training.
This is also repetition, by definition a groove is repetition
If only piano teachers would teach this style first, more students would understand how to create their own compositions.
@@owring nope you're wrong! Groove is an organic pulse wich is unique for every single person ....it is actually the contrary of a repetition .....you're simply confusing a Groove n a Beat 👽
perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of accent..with those sweet bits and pieces of a true genious..you made my day, dear Yohan..keep on bringing smiles..:)
Sina Sinisa same feels ☺️ this was joyful

2:12 I love how he ended this part!
God bless you young man... what a beautiful talent..
Yeah! This guy's been playing for years and is crushing it! 😃
Hi, Yohan 💜 Just want to let you know that I’ve been jazzing up my keyboard skills every single day with your videos as my inspirations! Hoping I can be as passionate as you are in making music in the future 😁 사랑해 ~~
Oh my you have a GIFT...Wow, Just love this. Smooth. I am playing this on repeat! Thank you for sharing. I just found this and after the 3 song....Subscribed! Blessings to you, sir.
Beautiful playing! Amazing skill and technique...but in my head I'm hearing..."your call is important to us. Please stay on the line, and someone will be with you shortly." 😂🤣
That joke is bad and you should feel bad.
Joshua Alexander nah man that was funny they just weak ^
No, DON'T be with me shortly. Let me stay IN DA GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!

Great stuff! Like others have said here, this is inspiring and makes me want to ratchet up my game. Thanks for sharing this!
The way he presses the keys with such accuracy and finesse, ah man it’s enjoyable to watch
Very good job sir! Very skillfull playing, and sweet melodies.
What I love about this piece is that you weren't taught it.... you have a natural talent/ear for it and I also love the intonation, advance and anticipation of the notes. Many thankk.
you can't have bad intonation on an electronic keyboard, maybe you meant tone, like the timbre... intonation means if you're playing your instrument in tune. which applies to just about every instrument except most percussion and electronic instruments

Make sure you become famous... talent like this shouldn’t go unnoticed.
The problem is very few understand jazz..
@@timirdas7747 In my opinion, you don't have to understand it to enjoy it.
I would contradict brother.. If I would'nt understand Floyd..it's music..it's depth in the lyrics for instance..I would nt build a liking for it..I would'nt enjoy it..😊
@@timirdas7747 No I understand. Jazz can be weird for someone who doesn't understand it. I still think people should understand that there's more to it than an 80s keyboard sound and a loud sax, and understand that it takes talent to master. :)
Yes..agreed Mr. Dan.. It takes experience and an ear to understand jazz.. A jazz player plays 3000 chords forth 3 people and a rocker plays 3 chords forth 3000 ppl.. here lies the difference..😊
So effortlessly funky. Amazing work as usual!
Very amazing !!! cheers from Brazil Yohan
Потрясающе! Эти аккорды воздушные и вообще импровизация, всё шикарно!
Every single note this dude plays is perfect!!! Haha great playing.
Thank you for playing.

Greatly appreciate the stuff you do!! @Yohan Kim
I’m always inspired by listening to you. Thanks for sharing your gift!
Brilliant! Rare to hear such a combination of technique taste inspiration and overall musicality!!
I love all the call and response bits it looks playing drums on the keyboard like bongos
I love your music....feels like I'm shopping in Macy's
Nice and funky, that’s the way I like it!
This sorta reminds me of Neo Soul with those really satisfying downward chord progressions.
Good groove, especially at 2.28-2.35. Thanks for uploading.
