The Empty Bell sanctuary has, for over 25 years, explored the healing paths of psychotherapy, Buddhism, and Christian contemplative prayer. Dr. Jennings joins us here to reflect on her experience as a psychiatrist and person of Tibetan Buddhist faith and practice. She is a Visiting Lecturer at Union Theological Seminary; Columbia University; and a Faculty Member of the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science. Her publications have included "East of Ego: The Intersection of Narcissism and Buddhist Meditation Practice", "Mixing Minds: The Power of Relationship in Psychoanalysis and Buddhism," and "To Heal a Wounded Heart: On the Transformative Power of Buddhism & Psychotherapy in Action."
