I love watching you love this album! You made me appreciate the song Push so much more now. I think you’ll really enjoy this album. It’s continuously mixed like Confessions. This album is my favorite of all time. It’s totally euphoric and an eargasm! It’s Engima - Fall of a Rebel Angel.

React to the promo tour of this album "Madonna Live in Koko Club" was when she presented the album for the first time to the world... The videos of the singles are not as relevant as this promo tour...
No longer available?
Oh man! Everything was perfect about this Era! The album, the tour, her looks, her vibe! Just perfect!
Yes! I see it as a Ray of Light pt. 2, it was her (very successful) attempt to win back the general public after an unpopular album/era. Very homogenous and consistent-sounding overall, but with a few standout tracks too.
Her aesthetic during Confessions was super gorgeous and polished also! I loveeed her with wavy red hair so much
the singles, the live performances, the promo tour, the impact😍😍😍
Absolutely…this era was Phenomenal!!! P.E.R.F.E.C.T.I.O.N
And Most Importantly THE MUSIC
madonna Making Good music is the best
She's maladjusted, like all of Hollywood!
the non-stop version!!!! this is the experience. the transitions between the songs are absolutely genius. the standard version does not capture this. Thank you for taking the extra step to get the CD.
It's so crazy this album was out 17 years ago... It's still so fresh and amazing.
All her albums since Ray of Light age very well.
It's even more incredible that it still stands up almost two decades later when you consider that it's dance music. Dance music because of trends tends to age faster than any other genre of music. ♥️♥️
The confessions tour version of Erotica is a must! Absolute bop 🥳
They should release it on erotica special edition cd
Agreed! I love You Thrill Me/Erotica. And her dancing on the tour is mesmerizing
My fav actually! ♥
YESSS
on my opinion, best reinvention of a old song of hers
Fun Fact: Abba don't really give samples away. They say you either cover the song or you don't get to use it but for Madonna Hung Up, they made an exception and it worked for both of them. Abba got plenty of royalties probably for that one beat and Madonna scored a major major worldwide smash.
Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus have let only two artists sample their songs : Madonna using Gimme gimme gimme and The Fugees using The Name of the Game bassline.
hung up is iconic
@@lucyfer4420 and Foo Fighters too
Apparently, Madonna hand-wrote a letter asking for the use of the ABBA sample. They responded and asked her to send them the track so they could listen to it before they made a decision, and she responded by flying out to see them personally and listen to the track with them.
I think I read back then that Madonna paid 5 million for that sample.
Confessions On A Dance Floor… Truly the Bible of Pop Music!
YES YES YES..! THE NON STOP VERSION 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
YES!
The only way to go
I couldn’t find it on iTunes
@@OprechtLetterlijkBizar its not on iTunes :( it used to be on Spotify, but her team removed it for some reason
This album aged beautifully. Every single song is perfect. Event Push that I didn't like at the time grew on me. 10/10
I didn’t like push either but now listening today it works with the album.
Push is absolutely incredible!!! The production, lyrics…underrated!
"I Love New York" has always been my least favorite track on the album.
Push is a Bop ! Can’t imagine anyone not liking it compared to some of the others that are questionable. (Isaac) 🤷🏻♂️
Push of Madonna = All Up in Your Mind of Beyonce. Like, WHY...
The best transition for me on this album is Forbidden Love into Jump.
Hung up to get together too
future lover is better
If you listen closely the music parts of Jump are playing all the way through Forbidden Love.
Agreed!!!
Let it will be into forbidden love is from another planet
Her best album and one of the greatest albums in this genre of all time.
I’m not drunk and I still get goosebumps listening to this! This is the Greatest Female singer Period! Conversation is closed!
I know right, I'm in bed with my headphones and the chills just feel amazing and the way he enjoys it, improves the feeling
Singer, dancer, writer, performer, evrything in between. Male or female. She is the GOAT.
This era will 99% never be topped
She released her first album in 1983 at 24 years old, this was late 2005, she was 47. The album went to #1 in over 40 countries setting a record for the most #1s an album ever achieved, as did the first single Hung Up which went to #1 in 41 countries as well. The album is also a Grammy Winner, sold over 10 million worldwide, ( i think it's at 12 million now) and she went on a super successful stadium tour to support it. That's some longevity, that's why i'm laughing when people are saying females at 35 have a hard time getting a hit. There is ageism in the music industry and Madonna suffers it as well, but she did this at 47/48, 20 some years into her career.
Wait till you see the tour to support this album. Confessions Tour is arguably her best tour.
Maybe in third place.
The Girlie Show is the GOAT.
No LED Crap.
@@sito7186 LED backdrops for the Confessions Tour complimented amazingly.
Yes, the perfect era: perfect album, perfect Tour and perfect aesthetic .
It's definitely Top 3 for me. Blond Ambition will always be #1, but Confessions Tour is probably #2.
Yeah….Confessions my #1 favorite tour! ✌🏻🙂✌🏻
they don't call it the bible of pop for nothing
The holy trinity of pop: Confessions on a Dance Floor, Blackout, and The Fame Monster
Confessions is a masterpiece but the bible of pop is like a prayer!
The Bible of pop is born to die by Lana
No one calls it that
@@kingjay239 that is not even pop
Literal tears running down my face during your response to Isaac. This album is fucking glorious as you say and experiencing it again through you feels just like the first time. Perfect album, perfect era and one of the most incredible tours you will see.
Isaac is amazing and the live performance takes it to the next level. I hope he reacts to that.
Isaac is used masterfully in this mix ua-cam.com/video/ealED5V9EpI/v-deo.html

Isaac is so under appreciated but I think it’s a total standout on the album.
He definitely made justice to Isaac because a lot of people don't get it and he felt it 💙

Being a Madonna fan at that time was the closest thing to heaven. I went to her Confessions Tour shows in Paris and I still have the most exciting and beautiful memories. Everything about that era was so magically perfect. Thanks for the tipsy review! Lol
This album flipped my world upside down when it released. And the tour, my God, legendary. Queen of Pop. 👑
yes! queen of pop🥺😘👑🪩🌈
I remember when it came out every store in my town that sold CD'S were out of copies. You could not buy a copy in any shop. They said that as soon as they put them on the shelf it would be cleared. I think a lot of people were getting COADF for Xmas! Haha 🎅🎅♥️♥️
Imagine being an artist and 22 years after your debut you're still putting out this kind of a masterpiece. There's a reason why she is a legend. This was the last album of hers that was trully a piece of art. Orbit and Madonna did magic in 1998 and Madonna and Price did it again in 2005. That's why a lot of people don't enjoy her next albums that much, they lack this kind of amazingness. Madame X may be her most artistic and well thought out album after Confessions, I liked it a lot. And I actually love Hard Candy, still put me to dance. But I cringe only thinking about him reacting to MDNA, that one is from Chernobyl. Rebel Heart is fine, I like some songs but as whole is not strong. Waiting for the next one! 😀
Agreed. Hard Candy is the last top album. MDNA and Madame X are the worst by far., both from Cherbobyl lol. Rebel Heart is C+ And that's it.
i agree, she diluted coworkers in her following albums, they all did lack what you say amazingness. She sat with mainly Mirwais for Madame X and i guess the result is showing. But what Madam X did not have is the global catch, generational hook, if you get what i mean. Like it or not, when the world praises Madonna's music and plays her new songs, they elevate her music even more in our fan ears.
I think the problem with mdna was we waited 4 years for it and it wasn't what we wanted.
@@bowtieguy85 to be fair, MDNA is mostly a divorce album
@@AlexeBriand2002 yeah but some of the material was basic. It could have been anyone singing it. Masterpiece was great, turn up the radio and girl gone wild but that's about it.
Confessions on a dance floor was a huge success for Madonna. The album sold 10 million albums and reached no.1 in 40 countries and hung up the single sold 9 million singles worldwide and was no.1 in 41 countries (world record). Is there honestly another female artist (apart from Cher) that could have such a hugely successful album and single 23 years into the music career? This is why Madonna is imo the most iconic female recording artist of the time and the rightly deserve title of the queen of pop!
It’s not even an opinion, it’s a fact.
Imagine if this album had come after Music instead of American Life??? The US performance of this album and its singles was far below what it should’ve been largely due to her radio blacklisting by Clear Channel. I mean Hung Up peaking at #7 when it went #1 in basically every other country around the world…and Sorry, Get Together and Jump totally bombing…an utter travesty.
@@travelinghusbands7984 Hung Up went to #1 for WEEKS on the US sales charts, the so so airplay kept it from #1 in the US, the sales were definitely there, it sold almost 3 million in the US alone. The rest of the singles all went to #1 or #2 on the singles sales charts in the US, they underperformed because of almost zero airplay at US radio
@@cricriylascuarentahermanas728 it was #1 for weeks on both physical and digital singles sales in the US. I believe it's her second biggest selling single in the US, only 4 Minutes and possibly Vogue many have outsold it In the US. US was here for it, radio wasn't
@German Morawski yup, that's why Madonna was the Billboard 's #1 selling singles artist in the US in the 2000s
If there was ever a Madonna album to indulge under the influence, it is absolutely this one. Can’t believe it’s been almost 16 years since this baby came out. It’s timeless!
It will actually be 17 years in three months :)
I don't think I've ever tried it.
I really want to listen to this album while enjoying a drink from the dispensary. I wasn't into such things back then (good thing, since it was illegal, but no longer is!)
This album moves my body, while taking my mind away from me!
I think Ray of Light and Music will do the same(especially Impressive Instant, its gonna take you to an another dimension)
Madonna and Stuart Price = match made in heaven ❤❤❤ that’s why The Celebration Tour is also so good (Madonna and Stuart work together too)
It is the most perfect Madonna album!
You're not wrong about "Future Lovers" having a 70's flare. It is heavily inspired by Donna Summers "I Feel Love", a 70's classic and one of the most important songs of all time.
Kylie Minogue Light Years/I Feel Love 😘🪩🪩🪩
Madonna has the best discography of all time and for millions of reasons.
I wanna brag. I bought a confessions tour floor seat through Ticketmaster and when I arrived I was right at the corner of the catwalk. Needless to say during let it will be she throws her mic and it rolled my way. So I leaned over and stopped it from falling off the stage …she somehow saw ..right after she gave me high five and then told me to sing time goes by--so slowly at the end !! Bragging rights!!
I went to my local supermarket and bought my ticket in person right at 10 am.
That's so cool! I'd be bragging too! :)
Get Together is my all-time favorite.
One of the BEST pop albums of the last decades. TIMELESS. literally she could release this today in 2022 and it would be a smash
Your reaction to the Push drop is priceless. Push is Madonna’s best deep cut. Such a gem🙃
Underrated song ❤️
You MUST watch her concert tour for this album, it is FUCKING amazing. Madonna was at her peak during the Confessions era.
She doesn’t like to repeat herself but she absolutely needs to do another album produced by Stuart Price, dance music is her strong point, no more trap 😅
Get Together is just ear candy. Heavenly. I can listen to it repeatedly and never get enough. Glad you appreciated Isaac. I knew you’d like her “mmms” too 😂 the best. Beautiful. I looove the transition to Push like you did. Nice reaction!!
Confessions on a Dancefloor walked so Chromatica could run. This is my favorite Madonna album Periodt
The transition between Forbidden Love and Jump just gives me Goosebumps.
This album is a masterpiece, a chef’s kiss, a state of bliss. The album is ahead of its time and is a beautiful joyful ride. She’s an icon, a true artist, a pioneer, a legend.
Over 17 years of listening to this album and I never noticed the “like a prayer” melody in “Push”. That’s why I love to see these reactions, to get a different perspective of the album. Great reaction!
You definitely need to listen to Madonna: Finally Enough Love-50 Number Ones which released today. It's a collection of 50 remixes of her #1 Dance chart toppers.
Well yes, but not until he finishes listening to all the albums that contain the songs on the collection
Finally someone who felt PUSH like I feel it, every time I listen to that effin song!
It just 'pushes' you places 😜

Push is always a repeat play for me :)

@German Morawski same
I feel like this was her best era. She truly looked the happiest.
99.9% perfect album except for that line about feeling like a “dork” in I Love New York. This is one of my all-time favorites.
Lol. Yah, like how do we go from Like a Prayer and Frozen to I Love New York, lyrically… but her more rock influenced version on the tour is so good I can almost overlook the lyrics. 🤣🤣
I totally agree, haha. That line is so NOT Madonna, but maybe that's why she did it :D
yeah i must agree, that lyric does NOT make me singy singy singy like a bird on a wingy wingy wingy 😒
Yea the verses on that song are very cringe, like "go to Texas, isn't that where they golf?" 😬 The chorus and beat are awesome though. Literally the only thing I don't like about the album.
@@electrikblue1008 Well, the Texas reference is pointed at George W. Bush when he was president tho'. I think that was a funny line :D (In the concert she sang "Go to texas and you can su*k G. Bush's di*k
Isaac will forever be a whole mood👌
I’m so glad to see someone appreciate this album like I do. It is undoubtedly the very best dance album of all time. Complete
Genius and music mastery. I love this album. Guaranteed when I pop this vinyl on the record player during a house party, whether they are madonna fan or not. Everyone gets dancing. So good.
Confessions is a masterpiece from every angle you want to analyze it, and it only gets better with every listen
Man i loved your reaction so bad, that i watched this video like 3 times this year 😃
A drunk person is always honest, and also know how to vibe to a Madonna album ❤
You HAVE to watch the opening to the Confessions tour where she sings Future Lovers/I Feel Love. It's how I try to enter every room.
🤣❤️❤️
That transition from Where's The Party to Music, when she just appears on the stage with an explosion, that's so satisfying
Holy mother of God, this video just brought me so much joy. I bought this album at Walmart in Weatherford, Texas, at 12AM the night it came out on CD. I went to my friend's house, he was renting this giant empty house with hardwood floors. We smoked a little and put this album on... THE WORLD STOPPED TURNING. Truly, a night to remember - we could not believe our ears. We danced our asses off and a new classic was born. Watching you listen brought back all of that euphoria. Thank you!!!
Confession tour was amazing, watch future lovers live, next level
By far, the best pop-dance-electronic album of the millennium.
After The fame? Yeah, we know.
@@edro7320 "Confessions on a dance floor" was number 1 in 41 countries (guinness record), a majestic tour, 2 grammys. Metacritic 80. And half the industry today has used that album as inspiration.
@@edro7320 the fame honestly is a bad album. Only the singles are good. Confessions way better
@@survivorbest4589 The Fame is good but Confessions is better. And BTW its way more difficult to make a great album after 22 years of career and 48 years old. I mean, when you are young all your ideas are fresh. Madonna didn't need to make a great album, but still did.
@@edro7320 And who's talking about Gaga here?. Grow up.
Now, confessions tour, its even better
Madonna was honored with a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2007, as well as International Female Solo Artist at the 2006 BRIT Awards. Commercially, the album peaked at number one in 40 countries, earning a place in the 2007 Guinness World Records for topping the record charts in the most countries.

That sound when the disco ball finally opens... shivers
I literally, can’t think of another music reactor who, brings me so much joy to watch, I love how much you truly appreciate Madonna’s progression & musical talent. Speaking of this album, can you believe she earned not one Grammy for this album??? For the most part, I am truly shocked she has only won Grammy’s for one album in her career. Not just one album, but almost anyhow, she has been under appreciated for her contributions to the music landscape her whole career.
Madonna actually WON a Grammy for this album (Best Electronic/Dance Album). We know that people don't appreciate her enough, but we have to check the fact first.
@@CrystalCoffin -Oooh, you put me in my place, good on you. Lmfao
A masterpiece that âges like a fine wine! Madonna has always been ahead of her time! A pop goddess! Wait until you see the tour for this album! You’ll love the opening!
This is her BEST album and it was released almost 25 years after of her beginings on music. Incredible production, perfect tribute to the short and lost DISCO era. Same case with Erotica, she's actually creative and astute in all she makes.
A total masterpiece that did not age a single day. Timeless. And the videos and tour, perfection. See the videos, see the tour and your mind will blow out.
This is the album that solidified Madonna as the one and only Queen of Pop.
This is the perfect Dance album 👌 she should have gotten a Grammy for it .It's next to Thriller .
This can be released in 2040 and it's ahead of its time
I’m so mad that I JUST found out the cd version is whole lot more different than the one in the streaming platforms. THESE TRANSITIONS ARE SUPERIOR.
Also, Let It Will Be - Paper Faces mix is a sonic masterpiece. 👏
I hope one day you post the reaction of the Confessions Tour here. It's pure ART. God please, just this reaction!
She took from Italo disco as much as she did from 70s American disco.
Also the album tells the story of confessing. By the end of the album she has confessed. See jump, to the end of the album
So happy you reacted to the proper, mixed version of the album. This album is a masterpiece.
Get Together is monumental
I’ve gone from thinking this was the best album in the world to finding it a bit overrated and back to realizing it’s outstanding on many accounts again… and this video reminds me of exactly how I felt the first time I heard the album in full in the middle of the night at my high school dorms! And that’s so much beyond whatever the quality of music means
Push and Like A Prayer have the same rhythm in the chorus OMG!!! 🤯
I remember I saw this CD on the New Release shelf while shopping at Target. I thought, “I didn’t know Madonna had a new album.” I grabbed it and put it in the cart thinking, “You can’t go wrong with a Madonna album as you know it’ll be good.” Little did I know I’d be severely blown away. It’s forever been in my top 5 favorite Madonna albums of all time along with Erotica, Ray of Light, True Blue and Music. Just a personal preference.
Funny you say dua lipa, same producer, she even stated she was inspired by Madonnas confessions album
The genius of Stuart Price!
You are one of the very few out there that knows how to review music and that remains honest. Kudos mister.
Madonna wanted to change everything up after American Life's dismal failure. She said, I just want to dance - and this was the result. She discarded everyone she's worked with in the past and let Stuart Price guide her into a non-stop disco-rama. It was huge, a best seller world wide. And, I cant wait to see your reaction video to the confessions tour which kept with the vibe of the album and, at the time, pushed the limits of a theatric concert tour to new heights. The production of the tour opener is mind-blowing. She said, she wanted the concert to be like you were inside a disco ball and she achieved that and more .Having been to several of Madonna's concerts, this was truly a pinnacle - although i never saw the blonde ambition tour live it may have matched its impact. Blonde Ambition change the idea of a musical rendition of her music, the following tours were great but this one was truly impactful. Others commenting have already sited the album statics so i wont repeat any of that but at a time where Madonna felt she no longer had a grip on pop music after American Life (which had a big hit with Die Another Day), this album changed everything. And everything about the album was perfect - the album production, the album visuals by Steven Klein, the packaging, the tour - perfection. 25 years into her music career and she has a massive world wide hit album and single - hung up. She has had a master piece in each decade of her career - Like a Prayer in the 80's, Ray of light in the 90's, Confessions in the 00's.
Agreed. He owes it to himself to have the video experience from the concert
Dude, this drunk reaction is gold. Love the Madonna reactions. Keep them coming.

I got to your channel because of madonna and now im following you!😍 Im from Philippines and I hope if i can be with your room and drink with you and other just to have party!!!😍😍😍
This might be the best reaction video I have ever watched. As the viewer, watching this video sober and knowing every note of this album by heart, my anticipation waiting for your reaction to what I knew was coming from a mind blowing production stand point was so much fun. Also, knowing you would be "lit" by the time Future Lovers kicked in was so good!
Forbidden Love and How High are my favorite in this album
This is also her best tour. I love New York and Let It Will Be are even better live. Erotica is pure magic and the finale is so grand 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
The Queen NAILED everything around this Era.
What I love about the album is the sequence - each song or confession on a dance floor - it starts as something superficial and keep progressing. The genius of the album makes it a battle, which her best: Like a Prayer, Erotica, Ray of Light or Confessions?

i discovered madonna with this album when i was about 12 years old and from there i started to get passionate about music.
I think it is the quintessence of what Madonna is as an artist: there is every aspect of her, from the completely electronic song, to a vein of rock n rool, a vague but elegant nod to religion and to overwhelming experimentation. It's like a rhapsody of her entire career and essence.
Simply the best pop dance album of the last 30 years
Madonna dared to bring back disco with this record but in her own inimitable way, so yeah, this album is masterful and amaaaazzzing! She wanted to turn the world into "one big dance floor" but she takes music to a whole other level where the listener is transported through a mindblowing exerience. My number one album is still Ray of Light but this is a very very close second. In any case, these past four albums certainly explored the electronica sound in various aspects, and, as you say, Confessions may very well be a summation of her best work, certainly of this era (imv).
Interesting that the two Madonna albums he describes as perfect have a seventh track called "Forbidden Love"
How can something be so well produced? It's incredible. Is it that my standards are low or something?
Or is it that Stuart Price is a genius?
William Orbit and Mirwais was amazing but Stuart and Madonna together get the next level, great brilliant and Genius album.
I think I listen to this album on a regular basis more than any other album. It’s just such a great album to play when you’re getting ready to head out and hit the town. The ABBA influence is certainly all over it but there’s also a touch of Pet Shop Boys in the production and they did an awesome remix of Sorry that you should check out. The tour for this album is also, I think, her best tour, just perfection.
Well for sure touch of Pet Shop Boys, that is Stewart Price, he worked with PSB a lot. This album is definitely of her best ever. I love some hidden stuff in it, like some referencing her old songs, and including some actual music samples from some of her other remixes. i mean that is just a treat that most don't even notice, album is a masterpiece.

You need to see the opening of the Confessions Tour to really appreciate Future Lovers 😉
The album was stunning from start to finish. You must watch the accompanying tour. It is a masterpiece from the get go. The Future Lovers opening is the best opening of a concert ever.
i've followed her career since around the Like a Prayer era (i was 5 in 1989), all throughout the 90s, into Music and American Life... and I will say- the contrast from American Life to this album was night and day. We needed this

41:09 Yes, good catch to the "Like a Prayer" Influences in Push, also some of the musical experimentation that occurs with "Act of Contrition" and "Supernatural" (which was a LAP b-side). Push is so underrated. And, while all the transitions are excellent, the one from Isaac to Push is outstanding.
I'm a huge fan of Madonna and I must to say that this was the only one album that I listened from the first song to the last one without a pause, I just sitting down on the sofa and played the cd.
