Don’t worry, we spent a week in Italy before this and didn’t hit up a single Starbucks 😊
Seriously though, we went to the Reserve Roastery specifically because we were only there for an afternoon on our way home from Lake Como, we wanted to see the coffee being roasted, and it was right beside the Duomo di Milano! We had a great time in the city.

AND they spent 26 dollars for coffee in Italy ... almost a month's coffee budget of an average Italian 😳 (maybe not Milan) There are literally a 100 other things they could have done.
This is a what NOT to do travel guide in Milan.

For 26€ I expect a massage with the coffee. Even one drank sitting down at caffè Armani would be cheaper, at the counter costs just as much as any bar in the city.
The 15€ each for pizza was quite steep too, unless you went to a fancy pizzeria with nice ingredients. At a take away/small pizza joints it's about 6€ for a margherita and coke.
Tips for those travelling to Italy. Stay the fuck away from tourist spots and go eat where locals go.

Maybe next time spend 5euros max for breakfast by choosing a regular bar instead of Starbucks, and with the money you save go on top of the Duomo! When in Italy, splurge on culture, not on American corporations taking business away from small local shops

I was in Duomo and if you a history buff like me, you certainly should go inside. It costed me like only 8 euros. There's stunning gothic architecture and saints are burried under the floor, so catholic. There's also a museum near it and an archeological site under Duomo, which are also included to a ticket. Another historical site is the castle Sforza, where you can learn the history of Milan and Lombardy

the italian pizza is way different from the american one, not just for the taste and look, but:
leavening, ingredients, the preparation method, ... bla bla bla
make (italian) pizza a pretty light meal. And if you go to Italy, you'll see every single person eating the whole pizza alone.
I'm not a pizzaiolo and I can't speak english very well (yes I'm Italian:p) so I don't know how to make this "understandable"
      ~
To be precise there are sooo many tipes of pizzas, the "trancio" one (is basically only one huge slice and it's not plane), the "al taglio" one (so many little different slices in a square cut), the roman and so on, but I'm talking about the traditional one (that they ate in the video)
      ~
All the tipes of pizza are obv a full meal (for lunch or dinner), but is actually lighter then the american one.
As I said I can't speak english well but hope it helps!!❤
