      Almost every single fighter has a loss in their early part of their career, he lost one after his debut idk why it’s one so shocking and two so incredible that he “bounced back”
      Scary fucken fighter, absolutely a beast don’t get me wrong. But there’s nothing special about him losing in 2015😂

      @@aidenlakata7662 what’s special is it reminds the young fighters that these guys who are seemingly invincible rn were once mere mortals and not to let a loss turn them away from the game. The name used is Islam Mak right now cause he’s one of the most popular, it’ll be someone else in future it was someone else in the past

      @@MuhammadMalik-hz9ut that may be what’s special about it, however an “incredible champion mindset to bounce back from this loss” it’s rly not, specially how early it was in his career. His striking now is miles better. He went to being solid with a tight guard and a good balance - nothing fancy but very functional. But against volkanovski i thought it was actually becoming sophisticated.

    Could also be considered an early stoppage. Oliveira got knocked down in all his fights and the refs always gave him a chance to fight from his back…. Islam is the best grappler in the ufc and that guy could have not finished him down there

    In hindsight, an early stoppage so early in his ufc career probably helped him - less long term brain damage and no "Big" reputation broken, and plenty of motivation and time to improve and get a good win streak going forwards. A "safe" loss like that can be a great motivator.

  • @bandobabyhovmtv
    @bandobabyhovmtv Рік тому +1

    To be fair that was a TKO not a knock out.
    He got KNOCKED DOWN, Ref stepped in , not saying early stoppage although that's debatable, but the ref stopped it, very quickly, was not knocked out.
    Much love to Islam and all MMA fighters ❤ 💙 🙏🌍
    Edit: I just watched this from another angle and in slow motion, this angle doesn't show how CLEAN that punch was, I think it may have been a KO 😅😂
    He wasn't out cold but was definitely a GREAT decision by the Ref and not an early stoppage.
    We learn from our mistakes, look at Islam now 🏆👍💪
