I had to return mine after the LED became faulty under a year of use where row of key would turn red and not change, I have tried multiple ways to fix stated by the Mountain Everest such as a software reset and proper clean to no avail. This was one of my favorite keyboards so far.

Have had my eyes on this keyboard since it was first announced, and tomorrow i think i will actually order it since the numpad on my current keyboard has goten somewhat unresponsive. The display/macro pad accessory is also something that is of interest to me for photoshop shortcuts.
That modular numpad is what talked to me the most. Since i feel that i need one but only a few days per month. So having a modular one or just having it attached with a cable to keep it out of the way when i dont need it. Not to mention i have missed having a small LCD display on my keyboard.
Great and comprehensive review have been looking for a more updated review for a while since most i could find were from when the software was horrible.

Just ordered mine for €79.99 in Gerrmany - was hard to decide which color of switches to choose, have no experience with these - went for the brown (as a universal, little bit of all choice - lets hope I'll like it)
Btw to add my two cents to the dicussion, a keyboard has to be large (with as many keys as possible, will though still miss a dedicated Copy and Paste, why there is not a single keyboard with these any more? - I mean hadware ones - requiring no driver support for this - which is an unreliable solution ) .
And a keyboard has to be definitely heavy - not to wiggle it around on my desk at the slightest keypress.

Just got it for the same price but was actually more or less forced to take red keys because I wanted the silver and not the black board which wasn't avalible with the German layout on their official website and only on Amazon but without the option of switching pre-installed keys. If it really bothers me I will just buy a set of any other keys for like 30€ and switch them.
Did you already get yours and if so, are you happy with it? :D

@@Mehlekun My keyboard just arrived from Amazon, at the exact moment you wrote your comment. (serendipity :D) First impression: the box feels heavy, as it should, and looks cool. I'll get back to you soon with an update on how the keyboard works. btw. I chose deliberately an ANSI US layout, I mostly use my computer for programming, used to have all the brackets, semicolons, tilde, whatever in their usual (for me) positions.

@@Mehlekun Installed, set up. Great! Also the choice of Cherry Brown turned out to be a good choice, no too loud, but still a feedback, very precise movement (I guess also due to the lubrication in the newer Cherries), though I need to get used to it, my earlier keyboard was not mechanical.
Set the lighting to a steady, dimmed one. (who are the many flashing madhouse effects were meant for?) The lighting looks great, though I am thinking to cover the transparent edges of the keys with some black paint sometime, so the lighting would come only over the keycaps and not the sides beneath, this is bit of a distrraction for me. But maybe I will stay with that, not a great issue.
      Three small issues so far.
      1. When moving the keyboard on my desk, the attached numpad and wristrest can detach easily, have to pay attention to hold all parts. (maybe an additional Velcro tape on the bottom of oll parts holding the whole constellation together would help, although I'm moving the keyboard not often)
      2. The supplied USB cable is of high quality, looks great with the textile coating. But is very rigid, does not lay flat on my desk, maybe will straighten out with time.
      3. The most annoying problem so far, I expected problems with the software, maybe I'm doing something wrong. I need the a CTRL-C and CTRL-V very much, assigned two of the Media Dock's keys to these. But the driver disregards the CTRL prefix, a single C / V keypress is returned. (and yes, I am in custom mode with the dial) With any other key the shortcut works OK, but I don't want to lose a normal key for this. Pls if someone could verify if this is a bug pls reply, I consider this is too early for me to report is as a bug.
Overall, I like my new keyboard, and as I am writing this I already began to feel the magic of the mechanical world. .. I m missing those dedicated Copy / Paste buttons I used to have for decades.

Was on sale on Newegg a few days ago for $139 (for the max version!). I didn't hesitate. I just came from a board where a switch failed, and I was in the market for a board I can also change out the switches.

solid review overall and from the others I have seen no one mentioned the abs keycaps. I own the keyboard and the review is very accurate. though I do like the wrist rest for a more flat use on the hand. but also enjoy without the wrist rest either.
pro tip: the mx grey included in the test kit is the least travel time switch. place on your w or s key for gamers.

I do appreciate the review as I have been looking at this keyboard, "BUT" I am having a really hard time watching your video, it's a good thing I'm not prone to seizures, with those white flashes for the transitions, it REALLY is an issue on the eyes. With that said I have a bloody B945 southpaw and it works great for me, but they discontinued it and if anything happens to it, I'm well SOL.

If you can't handle portable software at their worst, then you don't deserve them at their best!

Hahaha damn that's so good, I should've put it in the script!
But on a serious note, this was super frustrating to me during my review period-- I had to keep tinkering with the software but I had to keep navigating to the folder lol
I'm no stranger to portable software (shoutout DS4Windows!) but if this is a case of one, Mountain should've said so! 😂
