I have the same radio and its crap, one day it works the next no camera or the unit comes on with no screen!! Worst thing is having to press the ok button every dam day.
I think it’s a great stereo as a whole, it has some downside like you say but all in all I’ve had no issues with it and it does the job for me 😁 this camera issue was due to the camera itself having water in it 👍🏻hope you have a great day man 💪🏻

Yeah mines still on, surprised myself actually as I thought it wouldn’t hold through the winter but it’s still on and going strong!! 💪🏻🤪
