- Chapter 5 (part 1/2) of Kaldheim official lore. Kaya, the Planeswalker who came to Kaldheim on a seemingly simple mission, now struggles with her drive to become a hero. Kaldheim has fallen to Tibalt's Doomskar, not it's up to Kaya and Tyvar to rally allies to face a threat this plane had never seen before. Only the God's can help them now, but can they find a savior in time?

The art of the series made me interested in the story unlike recent sets. So far I have liked it but felt the gods should of, so far, had more a part of the story. : ) your content on it has been awesome

I just don’t get why they made Varragoth a 2/3 when in the story he is a demonic giant. He also doesn’t feel like much of a rogue. Feels like they had a design and just patched it onto Varragoth.
Yeah it could have been a bottom down design. But it’s always annoying to have a card not match a characters importance

I'm sorry but at the line "Alrund helped Kaya" I almost chocked in laughter... maybe you meant to say "Alrund stopped Kaya from slaughtering Vorinclex in the verry first chapter"... I'm still salty about the sheer stupidity of that one...

@@AetherHub I think she was done great. I also like how tibalt is being used as a harbinger. I feel like the story was all around great. However I wanted to see more about the preators plans.

I love that afterwe got Theros Lite, we get this ending/story. It's like they skipped a plot in Theros for all the Kaldheim plot!

I can understand not immediately hearing about all the gods, but why get a planeswalker card if their not going to be in the story.

@@jesok3761 two chapters on for he/she where explains all the things between he/she and the Valkiries and in the final chapter where he/she came to Bretagard with the angels and Koma!

Ugh. I'm so over this style of writing. The style where the hero, Kaya, is just super confident, and always ready to defeat the enemy. Why not have Kaya feel like she's out matched and getting beating, not just physically but emotionally as well. Then have her gain an advantage over the enemy based on something that may have been set up since earlier in the storyline and then she ends up on top. This style of writing that has the female character as always confident, never scared, loved by all, makes for some really boring storytelling. It's like, "oh look! Another Mary Sue who never grows or shows weakness. It so stupid and takes no effort. A child could write a story.
